Max's victory over Greyjin in the Battle Space shocks the onlookers, especially Bregor. Daniel reveals Max's physical prowess stems from the Seven Divine Veins, possibly reaching the sixth vein, a feat considered near impossible even for Dragon Race geniuses. This revelation shifts the perception of Max from the weakest Primordial to potentially the most dangerous.

A short while later, the runes surrounding the Battle Space flashed once more, and two figures appeared in the plaza almost at the same moment.

Max and Greyjin had both returned from the virtual arena, but the way they came back could not have been more different.

Max stood calmly inside the circle of light. His expression hadn't changed, and his aura remained steady. He looked exactly the same as he had before entering the Battle Space, as though he had just gone for a short walk rather than facing a Dragon Race genius who had used both Half-Dragon Transformation and a pseudo cosmic path at full power.

His face showed no excitement, his eyes held no arrogance, and his body showed no sign of fatigue. He simply stepped out of the teleportation formation with the same quiet composure that had led everyone to underestimate him earlier.

Greyjin, on the other hand, stumbled the moment he appeared.

The Battle Space had protected his real body, so he was physically unharmed. Even so, his face was ghostly pale, and his golden pupils still trembled with lingering horror. The pain and pressure of having his battle projection destroyed had clearly left a deep mark on his mind.

His breathing was uneven, and his fists were clenched without him realizing it. The arrogance he had shown before entering the arena was completely gone, and when he looked at Max again, there was no mockery left in his eyes.

All that remained was disbelief.

As the two of them returned, the crowd fell into another strange silence, because everyone could now see the truth clearly. Max was perfectly fine, while Greyjin looked as if his confidence had been destroyed along with his battle projection.

Suddenly, a faint bronze light rose from Greyjin's wrist, and almost at the same time, the bronze mark on Max's wrist also began to glow.

The Battle Space had already recognized the outcome of their personal wager. Since Greyjin had lost, the three hundred Bronze Marks he had bet were transferred according to the rules. A thin stream of bronze light left Greyjin's mark and flowed through the air like liquid before sinking straight into the mark on Max's wrist.

Max lowered his eyes slightly and watched the bronze symbol on his wrist grow brighter as the number inside it changed. Three hundred Bronze Marks had been added to his total.

The whole process was simple and direct. Greyjin didn't need to agree again, nobody had to act as a mediator, and neither side had any chance to deny the wager after the fight. Once the Battle Space accepted a bet, its rules enforced the result on their own.

As Greyjin watched the marks leave him, his expression grew even uglier.

Those Bronze Marks had belonged to him. Only moments earlier, he had thought Max was foolishly handing them over, and he had treated the bet as easy profit. Now, in front of all five races, his marks had been taken and given to the very person he had ridiculed.

The humiliation felt almost worse than the defeat.

Max glanced at the glowing mark on his wrist before looking up at Greyjin.

"Thanks for the marks," he said calmly.

Greyjin's face twitched.

The surrounding crowd reacted immediately. Some of the Primordials couldn't hold back their laughter anymore. Several devils, who had enjoyed Greyjin's arrogance earlier, now looked at him strangely and were clearly trying not to laugh too loudly in front of the Dragon Race.

The angels stayed quieter, although a few of them seemed amused as well. Meanwhile, the Spirit Race members whispered to one another as their luminous eyes moved between Max and Greyjin with fresh interest.

Anna stared at Max for a moment, and then she slowly covered her face with one hand.

"Of course," she muttered. "Of course he'd say something like that."

Revona smiled lightly. "Well, he did ask for a reward before he went in."

Damian nodded with a completely straight face. "That's true. He earned those marks."

Anna turned and glared at him. "Don't encourage him."

Daniel chuckled softly from the side, but his eyes stayed thoughtful as he looked at Max's wrist. Three hundred Bronze Marks was a tiny amount compared to the three hundred Gold Marks that he and Bregor had wagered, but its meaning was different.

Max hadn't just won a few marks. He had publicly taken them from a Divine Lord Realm genius of the Dragon Race after crushing him with a single move.

A victory like that would be impossible to keep quiet.

Over on the Dragon Race side, Bregor's face was grim.

Greyjin silently rejoined his group, and the atmosphere around him was suffocating. None of the Dragon Race members mocked him, and none of them scolded him right away either.

They had all watched the battle, so they knew that Greyjin had given everything from the start and hadn't lost because of carelessness.

He had been overpowered by sheer physical strength, and for the Dragon Race, that truth was especially hard to swallow.

Bregor looked at Max, and then he turned his gaze to Daniel.

According to the terms of their wager, Revona had won the first battle, and the second battle between Damian and Aldric had ended in a draw. Max had won the third battle, which meant the Primordial side had won the overall bet.

As soon as the Battle Space confirmed the final result, the marks from the larger wager also began to move.

A golden light rose from Bregor's wrist. It was far brighter and heavier than the bronze light that had come from Greyjin's mark. The crowd watched closely as the authority of the Battle Space drew out three hundred Gold Marks. The golden stream crossed the air and sank into the mark on Daniel's wrist.

With that, the wager was settled. Bregor had lost three hundred Gold Marks, and Daniel had gained them.

The plaza erupted once again.

"Daniel won the bet."

"The Dragon Race really lost two out of three rounds."

"No, one of those rounds was a draw, but the outcome is the same. The Primordial newcomers won."

"And the one who won the deciding battle was that newcomer from the Law Manifestation Realm."
