What is Zac's next move regarding Castain's request?
Previously on Defiance of the Fall...
Zac and Vilari leave Beseechment Mountain after failing to resolve its lingering regret. They are intercepted by Anima Court enforcers led by Castain Estruvo. Zac, posing as Jikasi In'Vela, explains his presence as an accident, but Castain notices his dual nature. Castain offers Zac a chance to have his unique condition studied, but Zac declines. As they travel, Zac witnesses the mesmerizing and dangerous Fae Night. Castain reveals he is an observer and asks Zac to kill someone.
