Days as a Spiritual Mentor in American Comics Chapter 5981 - 5000: Forward, Yueke Forward (18)

"Look at Venom," Shiller said, "he’s also an alien life form, yet he can eat everything in the seafood tank."
"How can that be the same? Klinter Star has become a deep wilderness, and Godtar is no different from primitive people." Thor shook his head.
Shiller was not upset, because although Gray Mist considered itself a symbiont, it didn’t see itself as Godtar. Or rather, a symbiont is a form of life, much like other parasitic species can also be called symbionts. But Godtar specifically refers to the race like Venom that came out of Klinter Star, and Gray Mist doesn’t acknowledge that hometown.
"The Aesir understand well that we should be unruly with enemies, but with friends, we must behave more civilly," Thor said. "Do you think if I subtly suggest a barbecue feast, they would agree?"
"Of course, Ms. Carter is just worried about not knowing how to organize the event," Shiller said confidently, though Carter hadn’t told him directly, but he could clearly see it.
Actually, hosting an event for guests from the multiverse is quite tricky. If you make it too formal and dogmatic, these people aren’t the type to stand and listen to you lecture; but if it’s too entertainment-focused and excites these already energetic superheroes, a fight might break out. You have to balance the two, combining education with entertainment.
For example, the morning museum visit was clearly an educational activity, but the afternoon was pure eating, drinking, and having fun. If it weren’t for that fish earlier, the whole process would have been considered successful.
And because of the fish incident today, you’d have to beat Carter to death before she’d fish at night. Thankfully, Diana was there, and Sif truly wasn’t afraid of such things. If Diana hadn’t been nearby, Sif could have knocked the fish out with a single punch. But then again, Sif is a deity, what if it were someone who isn’t divine?
Moreover, someone like the Scarlet Witch usually brings children, or even someone like Shazam, who is essentially a child himself. Catching a fish could leave a significant psychological scar on them.
But you can’t just disband after lunch; there’d have to be a reason for walking around the beach. Organizing a bonfire dance is a good idea, letting everyone enjoy American-style barbecue while singing and dancing is a suitable entertainment activity.
Also, as Shiller saw it, superheroes like Iron Man and Batman, who are wealthy, are the minority. The better-off ones are just middle class, while the vast majority are actually civilians.
We don’t even need to talk about someone with financial constraints like Spider Man; even Eddie, a journalist, isn’t part of the wealthy class. It’s clear he has yachting and night fishing experience, unlike Peter, who’s never been on one and finds everything new, but that doesn’t mean he truly enjoys yachts.
For people like that, activities meant for the rich are usually only accessible during social engagements, and not truly relaxing. Like Eddie, who seemed tense ever since he boarded the yacht; even when Venom bit the fish, he managed to pull it back; he was not in a relaxed state at all, let alone enjoying himself.
The ones who genuinely find such activities interesting are either the wealthy ones or people like Peter, who don’t understand at all. Everyone else finds it somewhat uncomfortable. Once they sit at the dining table, they subconsciously want to toast, and talk about Manhattan weather and stock trends are already at the tip of their tongues. The gentlemen stand with their wine glasses, automatically try to put their free hand into their suit pockets, only to awkwardly withdraw after touching nothing.
As for Shiller, he was one of those who didn’t understand at all. Since he got seasick—or rather, sea sick—he didn’t even dare stand by the sea to fish, let alone board a yacht; everything related to the ocean was out of his reach.
After getting on the yacht, he observed too, but soon found that it was no different from a party on land. Besides fishing, it was the same routine: buffet, pool, movies...
Moreover, the yacht mostly had leftovers. Although there was indeed a kitchen and even a specially hired chef, you couldn’t expect them to cook you a whole roasted lamb here. Many ingredients were pre-processed, just slice them up and lay them out on a pretty plate, and that’s it. And you had to eat lightly to prevent seasickness, the taste was just so-so.
"I’ll talk to her later," Shiller said, "they should come to apologize soon."
"What do you think happened to the fish?" Thor then remembered to ask, "The bass we had at lunch seemed normal."
"The bass we had at lunch was farmed by Atlanteans," Shiller said, clearly having listened to Carter, "it should have come from their ocean farm, which might not even be in this sea."
"So, you mean the local seafood isn’t edible?"
"If you can beat it, you can eat it," Shiller stated the common sense of Gotham, "whoever wins can eat the other."
Thor grimaced widely, "Doesn’t that make you a rather embarrassing top of the food chain?"
"Losing is rare," Shiller explained, "after all, humans have firearms, even a two-meter-long fish can be blown up with a single shotgun, not to mention solid shot."
Thor, clearly knowledgeable about human firearms, was left speechless, "Are you saying, to fish here, I’d need to bring an elephant hunting gun?"
Shiller nodded.
"The whales in Gotham..." Thor was almost at a loss for words.
