Shiller and Thor discuss the complexities of hosting interdimensional guests, contrasting their needs with typical human experiences. Following an incident with a live seafood tank, they consider alternative entertainment, like a bonfire barbecue. Shiller explains that many superheroes are not wealthy and thus unfamiliar with lavish activities like yachting. They also touch upon the edibility of local Gotham seafood, with Shiller suggesting that only the strongest or those with powerful weaponry could catch and consume it.

This is obviously a spiraling logical issue. Usually, elephant hunting guns are used to shoot elephants, but here, they’re used to shoot regular fish because Gotham’s regular fish are quite large. So if regular fish require an elephant hunting gun, what kind of gun do you use for whales?

There’s no need to debate whether to shoot or not; this isn’t about whale protection or anything like that. It’s just that the whale in Gotham might hit you, and the answer is obvious.

"Whales are generally quite intelligent and don’t usually come close," Shiller explained. "Even an orca would find it difficult to become the ocean overlord in Gotham’s coastal waters, that title belongs to someone else."

"Like who?"

"You know the Eye Demon, right?" Shiller said with a twinge of helplessness; introducing Cthulhu to Marvel people always starts with the Eye Demon.

"Alright, you don’t need to say more." Thor clearly heard this introduction many times. As soon as the Eye Demon was mentioned, he knew what Shiller was going to say. His thinking was limited, naively believing Gotham’s sea would only hold marine creatures, but one day, if a walking octopus emerged, Gothamites would have to pick and choose whether to select it as their leader.

"Doesn’t your Aquaman care?"

"Actually, Gotham’s land area had an opportunity to double in size," Shiller said rather tactfully, "But the Justice League persuaded otherwise."

The corner of Thor’s mouth twitched a little, though tactful, he understood. While he didn’t know Arthur well, he was very familiar with Namor—the guy constantly wanted to flood the land to expand his territory. He should be sent to Gotham for a couple of days so he understands what ’avoid at all costs’ truly means.

The two chatted while finishing their meal. On the surface, Sif seemed invested in their chat and didn’t want to interrupt. Truthfully, she made several rounds at the self-service counter before getting full. They may be strong but still get hungry, especially with Venom lurking nearby—if you don’t seize the chance to eat, it turns into a light fast.

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before Carter came to apologize. Of course, everyone indicated it was fine; after all, no one got seriously hurt, and it was quite thrilling.

Then Carter inquired about everyone’s opinions. Since fishing was off the table, there was no point loitering at sea; better to head back to the hotel for some rest.

She also mentioned a compensation plan since tonight’s activity wasn’t satisfactory. Everyone could volunteer for tomorrow night’s event, though from her tone, Carter hadn’t decided what activity to arrange.

Just as Carter was about to leave, Shiller called out, "Wait a moment, Ma’am."

He glanced at the crowd and walked with Carter into the cockpit, saying, "About tomorrow night’s activity, I have an idea. Here’s the thing, Thor mentioned to me..."

Shiller summarized simply, and Carter smacked her forehead, "How could I forget? When Venom was gorging earlier, I thought maybe there weren’t enough ingredients prepared, forgetting about the alien big-eaters..."

"Venom’s case doesn’t count," Shiller said, "He wasn’t hungry; he was just greedy. If he actually ate it all, no one would complain, but he eats half and regurgitates half..."

"Alright, but I noticed Mistress Prince didn’t seem entirely full either," Carter sighed, "I thought maybe the menu was missing Greek people’s preferred fruits and yogurt, and reminded the chef to make more tonight. But whether it’s a taste issue or not, she seems not very fond of the food."

Shiller shook his head, "Though she’s a demigod of the Greek God System, her family relations aren’t good. Amazon cuisine differs from other European nations, leaning more towards meat—savory bird meats, barbecue, and buried roasted meats..."

Carter noted carefully, then said, "I truly want to visit Amazon one day. We didn’t have that country before, I hear it’s a very beautiful small country. If I had visited earlier, I wouldn’t have made this mistake."

Shiller heard the longing in her tone, perhaps before her passionate relationship and marriage to Captain America, she envisioned other life plans. So he said, "It’s not too late; there’s still plenty of time."

Carter took a deep breath and quickly composed herself, saying, "Then we’ll prepare the largest portion of American barbecue tomorrow. This addresses complaints that the meal lacked New York flair while satisfying these large appetites. In any case, the beef is definitely plenty."

"That’s enough, you realize, Earth is considered one of the most resource-rich places among the Nine Major Kingdoms, even in all of cosmos," Shiller said, flipping through his Marvel memories, "Even Earth’s most common meats are considered premium in the cosmos—delicate fibers, juicy, and the scent of fat is strong. Given enough quantity, it’ll surely garner rave reviews."

Carter recalled and said, "I’ve had Asgard’s barbecue, honestly, it’s tough to chew and hard to swallow, a bit like those exceptionally overcooked, sinewy steaks. Some meats have distinct flavors, but compared to Earth’s, it’s truly melt-in-your-mouth."

"Asgard’s food issue is very serious," Shiller recalled, "The Aesir God’s combat prowess is so strong they bring back tens of meters tall beasts, preferring tough, fibrous, chewy meat. Earth’s meat is baby food to them. However, no one can refuse the aroma of fat."

Carter nodded, "I’ll get some grain-fed beef for a richer fat aroma, plus some chewy meat. I’ve tried ostrich meat, it has a good texture."

America farms ostriches, but Shiller hadn’t tasted ostrich meat, heard it resembles beef, but prefers venison when opting for beef-like meat.

He shared his idea, Carter nodded, "Correct, high-quality beef supply might be limited, so we can supplement with venison."

"It’s settled," Carter smiled, "Thank you so much, Professor. Honestly, I assumed you’d be difficult at first, but now I see you’re truly an admirable gentleman."

"No need for a specific word to praise me," Shiller shook his head helplessly, "I’m not a nineteenth-century opera character."

"I thought you’d like it, but still, I must say, Gothamites are like this," Carter shrugged, "Initially hard to approach, but really witty and loyal once you know them, always with great ideas, like Mr. Wayne."

"You mean Thomas Wayne?" Shiller asked somewhat puzzled, "What’s he doing now?"
