Su Qinglan is surprised to see her mother looking so radiant and happy, suspecting she ran off with her father. Su Mingxuan appears and playfully scolds Su Qinglan for teasing her mother. Meanwhile, Yin Feng expresses a strong desire to visit the sea, but his sons are told they are too young. Mo Xiao Li attempts to sneak food from the departure provisions but is caught by his father, Mo Qingli, and warned away.

Inside the house, Su Qinglan had finally found Lan Yue.

Her younger sister was sitting with her three mates, Bo Jian, Tu Yeleng, and Tang Wu, while Tu Yeleng was helping arrange the final belongings.

The moment Lan Yue saw Su Qinglan, her eyes brightened.

"Elder Sister!"

Su Qinglan immediately walked over and hugged her.

"Lan Yue!"

The two sisters held each other for a moment before Su Qinglan reluctantly let go. She looked at Lan Yue from head to toe.

"Have you packed everything? Did you bring enough clothes? What about the food? I prepared a lot of things for you. Did your mates help you arrange everything properly?"

Lan Yue laughed helplessly.

"Elder Sister, we haven’t even left yet, and you’ve already asked so many questions!"

"Of course! You’re going to be away for so long. How can I not worry?"

Bo Jian smiled. "Don’t worry, Sister Qinglan. We’ve checked everything. We’ll take good care of Yue Yue on the journey."

Tu Yeleng nodded. "We’ll make sure she eats properly and gets enough rest."

Tang Wu added, "And if she wants anything, we’ll do our best to find it for her."

Su Qinglan finally looked satisfied.

"Good. I’m holding you three responsible. If my younger sister loses even a little weight, I’ll come looking for you!"

The three males immediately straightened their backs.

"Don’t worry!"

"We won’t let that happen!"

Lan Yue covered her face. "Elder Sister, stop frightening them!"

"I’m not frightening them. I’m reminding them!"

Everyone laughed.

After some time, Tu Yeleng’s elder sister also arrived. "Are you really leaving with them?"

Tu Yeleng nodded. "Yes. I’ve already found my nest, and my female is leaving. Naturally, I should follow her."

His elder sister looked at him for a moment before sighing. "All right. Since you’ve made your decision, I won’t stop you. Just remember to take good care of yourself. And don’t forget to send news back whenever you can."

Tu Yeleng’s expression softened. "I will."

He reached out and gently patted his elder sister’s back. "Don’t worry. I’ll be fine. You should also take care of yourself."

His elder sister nodded, then looked toward Lan Yue and her two mates. "Take good care of him, all of you. He’s my younger brother, and he can be stubborn sometimes."

Bo Jian smiled. "We’ll look after him," while Tang Wu promised that they would not let anything happen to him.

Tu Yeleng’s elder sister finally smiled.

Although she felt reluctant to see her younger brother leave, she was happy that he had found a place for himself and a female he wanted to follow. Now that he had his own family, it was only natural for him to travel with them.

Soon, the final preparations were complete.

Outside, the mermen had gathered their beast hides and secured their belongings for the return journey. The baskets of food Su Qinglan had prepared were also distributed among the group so that no one would have to carry too much weight.

Lin Muyu and Bai Ling arrived shortly afterward to see Lan Yue off. Lin Muyu immediately grabbed Lan Yue’s hand. "You must come back to visit us!"

Lan Yue nodded. "I will."

"And don’t forget me!"

"How could I forget you?"

Lin Muyu sniffed and pretended to be offended.

"That’s better. Otherwise, when you come back, I’ll make you listen to me complain for three whole days!"

Bai Ling laughed. "Only three days? I thought you would complain for a whole month."

"Bai Ling!"

The women burst into laughter, and the heavy atmosphere eased a little. But when it was finally time to leave, the cubs became quiet again.

Ciao Ciao grabbed Lan Yue’s clothes. "Aunt Yue Yue, do you really have to go?"

Lan Yue crouched down and stroked his fluffy ears. "Yes, sweetheart. But I’ll come back to visit you."

"When?"

"Once I can make the journey again."

Ciao Ciao’s nine tails drooped.

Mao Mao stepped forward and hugged her leg. "Then you have to bring us delicious things from the sea!"

Lan Yue laughed and rubbed his head. "All right. I’ll bring you something delicious."

The other cubs immediately crowded around her, each asking for something different.

"Bring me a pearl!"

"I want dried fish!"

"I want a giant crab!"

Lan Yue laughed as she listened to their requests.

"All right, all right! I’ll see what I can bring back for you."

Su Qinglan stood nearby, smiling at the scene, but her heart felt heavy.

She was happy that her younger sister was returning to the place she belonged. Yet she couldn’t help feeling reluctant to let her go.

A month-long journey separated them from the East Sea, and after Lan Yue returned, who knew when they would meet again?

Lan Yue finally stood and walked over to her. The two sisters looked at each other for a moment before Lan Yue hugged Su Qinglan tightly. "Elder Sister, don’t be sad. I’ll come back when I can."

Su Qinglan hugged her back. "I’m not sad."

Lan Yue pulled away and looked at her suspiciously.

"Really?"

"Of course!"

Su Qinglan lifted her chin.

"I’m just thinking about whether I packed enough food for you."

Lan Yue burst out laughing.

"Elder Sister!"

Su Qinglan laughed with her, but she held her sister’s hand for another moment before finally letting go.

"Take care of yourself, Yue Yue."

"I will. You too, Elder Sister."

With that, Lan Yue turned toward her three mates.

The mermen were ready to depart, and the long journey back to the East Sea was about to begin.

Tu Yeleng glanced one last time at his elder sister, who waved at him with tears in her eyes. He waved back before joining Lan Yue and the others.

Then, surrounded by the mermen and their loaded supplies, Lan Yue finally began moving away from Dragon Beast City.

The cubs followed for a short distance, calling after her until their parents stopped them.

Su Qinglan stood beside Hu Yan and watched her younger sister’s figure grow smaller.

She didn’t know when they would meet again.

But she hoped that by the time Lan Yue returned, Dragon Beast City would have become an even better place, filled with more delicious food, happier cubs, and countless new things for her sister to see.
