While Xuan Long and Su Qinglan were indisposed, the other beastmen, Rong Ye and Shi Feng, were forced to cool off outside in the snow. Hu Yan and Han Jue, also struggling to maintain their composure, decided to take the younger cubs for a walk. However, they soon discovered that the three eldest tiger cubs, Xiao Yi, Xiao Er, and Mo Xiaoli, had vanished, and Hu Yan's hunt began.

Outside the Dragon Beast City...

There was a small abandoned cave hidden between several large rocks.

Inside the cave, five little figures were lying flat on the ground. Three little cubs in their round tiger and human forms and two tiny spiritual entities had completely knocked themselves out after a massive feast.

In front of them, the several huge stone bowls they had brought along were completely empty.

Not even a single drop of soup remained. The sheer amount of food they had secretly consumed was easily enough to fill the massive stomachs of three fully grown adult beastmen.

Yet, the five little gluttons had somehow finished every single bite.

Mo Xiao Li lay flat on his back. He rubbed his round, swollen belly with a deeply satisfied smile. "So full..."

Xiao Yi was lying right beside him, his fluffy tiger form practically stretched out like a rug.

His tiny striped belly had become completely round like a tight ball. "I can’t eat another bite..."

Xiao Er nodded weakly, his paws twitching lazily in the air. "Me neither..."

Even Stove had rolled onto his back. He happily patted his swollen stomach, completely forgetting his earlier disdain.

"As expected... Master’s husbands are the best cooks in the world. I’ve never eaten such delicious food in all my years."

Little Hua’s green leaves drooped lazily to the side. It looked just as sleepy and food-comatose as everyone else.

The cave gradually became quiet. One after another, the little ones began to yawn heavily. Mo Xiao Li rubbed his heavy eyelids. "I want to sleep..."

Xiao Yi let out a sleepy, muffled growl. "Mmm... me too..."

The warm, heavy food combined with the biting cold winter air outside made everyone feel incredibly drowsy.

Just as Mo Xiao Li was about to close his eyes and drift off...

He suddenly froze.

His sleepy expression disappeared instantly. His head snapped toward the cave entrance, and his whole body went completely stiff.

"..."

At the exact same moment, Stove’s eyes flew wide open.

The lazy, satisfied look vanished without a trace, his body becoming as tense as a drawn bowstring.

Little Hua’s drooping leaves immediately stood upright, vibrating with sudden alarm.

Even Xiao Yi and Xiao Er instantly opened their eyes, their natural tiger instincts kicking in.

The soft fur on both little tigers puffed up violently. Their tiny ears flattened hard against their heads, and low, defensive growls escaped their small throats.

"Grrrr..."

They bared their small, underdeveloped fangs toward the darkness of the cave entrance.

A sudden, freezing cold wind blew inside, carrying a foul, metallic scent.

Then... three enormous, imposing shadows slowly blocked out the winter sunlight.

Standing right outside the cave were three evil ferocious beasts.

Their massive bodies were covered in ugly scars. Their eyes glowed with an eerie, unstable blood-red light...a clear sign of degenerate, rogue beasts who had lost their sanity.

Long strings of thick saliva dripped from the corners of their mouths, hissing against the snow.

Their hungry, crazed gazes slowly swept over the little group hiding inside the cave. Finally, their eyes settled directly on the three plump cubs.

The next second... They charged.

"Run!" Mo Xiao Li shouted, his small voice cracking with urgency.

But before the maddened beasts could even lay a claw on the children...

Whoosh!

Stove shot forward like a streak of lightning. His thick green vines burst out like powerful whips.

In an instant, the sharp vines wrapped tightly around the muscular necks of the two leading ferocious beasts.

Crack!

The vines constricted with all the strength it could muster. The two strangled beasts thrashed wildly, their heavy claws tearing at the air as they desperately tried to rip themselves free from the tightening green noose.

"I won’t let you touch Master’s cubs!" Stove roared, his usually lazy voice filled with fierce determination. His vines strained against the massive, thrashing bodies until they visibly trembled.

But... there were three enemies in total.

Stove could only hold back two at once.

The third ferocious beast easily slipped past his green barrier. With a sickening snarl, it lunged straight toward the defenseless children.

Mo Xiao Li’s eyes widened in sheer panic.

Without a single shred of hesitation, his survival instincts flared, and his body rapidly transformed.

Gleaming black scales erupted across his skin, and a long, powerful black tail snapped out behind him. In the blink of an eye, he became a small black imoogi.

He rushed forward headfirst.

With a fierce, defiant hiss, the young black Imoogi coiled his body tightly around the charging beast, squeezing with every ounce of strength his small frame possessed.

The ferocious beast roared angrily, its huge, scarred body struggling violently against the restrictive coils of the young Imoogi.

Not far away, Xiao Yi and Xiao Er completely froze.

Their little hearts pounded wildly against their ribs. They were afraid...very afraid. But... they couldn’t leave Stove to fight alone, and they absolutely couldn’t leave their little uncle behind either.

The two fluffy tiger cubs locked eyes for a split second. Then, they nodded together in unified determination.

"Attack!"

The little tigers leaped forward at the exact same time.

Xiao Yi opened his mouth wide and bit down as hard as he could on the rogue beast’s thick leg.

The very next second... his entire little face twisted in pure disgust.

"Bleh! Pui!"

The rogue beast’s unwashed hide smelled and tasted so absolutely horrible that Xiao Yi almost gagged on the spot.

He immediately released his grip and recoiled.

"I don’t want to bite anymore! It stinks too much!" he cried out, frantically rubbing his tongue against the cold snow on the cave floor.

"I want to wash my mouth right now! Blehh!"

Xiao Er looked completely horrified by his brother’s plight. "...Good thing I didn’t bite. I don’t want a dirty mouth either."

Instead of using his teeth, Xiao Er raised both of his tiny paws, unsheathing his sharp, infant claws.

Slash! Slash!

His tiny claws scraped repeatedly across the beast’s thick hide.

Unfortunately, the desperate attack only left a few shallow, superficial scratches on the tough skin. The giant wolf-like beast barely even registered the pain.

Instead... the minor annoyance only made it even angrier.

It let out a furious, deafening roar, its blood-red eyes locking directly onto the two small, fluffy tiger cubs. The entire cave shook under the force of its terrifying howl.

Seeing the beast turn its deadly attention toward Xiao Yi and Xiao Er, the small black Imoogi tightened his coils with all the frantic strength he could muster.

"No! Look at me!" Mo Xiao Li hissed loudly, trying to draw the monster’s focus back to himself.

But the ferocious beast only struggled more violently, thrashing its heavy limbs, fully determined to crush the defenseless little cubs standing right in front of its jaws.
