Yue and Kyle exchange rings, solidifying their bond. Afterward, Kyle brutally tortures and eradicates the Rulers who had wronged them. The group then departs, leaving behind terrified celestial onlookers. Emerging from the frozen grounds, they find themselves in the midst of a massive battle between Ares, Zami, and their allies against Osko and the Golden Hall of Light.

Asher cracked his knuckles, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the battlefield.

"Let’s all go join the fray! Haha! I’ve been wanting to fight some strong Celestials—"

He barely finished his sentence when Kyle, floating beside Yue, suddenly raised a hand.

In the next instant, an invisible wave of surreal power erupted from his fingertips and swept across the entire battlefield.

The moment that power spread, every single person locked in combat froze in place, their movements abruptly coming to a complete standstill.

Sinon and the others’ jaws dropped.

The scene before them was as though Kyle had simply pressed a pause button on reality itself.

Thousands of Celestials who had been fighting only a moment ago were now completely motionless in mid-air.

Their weapons remained suspended mid-swing, their expressions frozen in shock, and even the powerful natural laws and energy surging around them had seemingly come to a halt.

If not for their horrified, darting eyes, they would have looked no different from lifeless statues.

Jian closed his mouth as he stared at the scene before him. He even reached over and pushed Kelvin’s jaw shut, muttering.

"Whoa..."

Once again, he was reminded of just how terrifying Kyle’s current strength truly was.

Back when Kyle was still in their Universe, Jian and the others had grown accustomed to his overwhelming power. After all, they had seen him perform many feats that would have left anyone else speechless.

But after spending so long apart from him, that familiarity had gradually faded.

Now, seeing him casually freeze an entire battlefield with a single gesture, Jian couldn’t help but think that perhaps it was time for all of them to get used to Kyle’s overwhelming power all over again.

At this moment, Alec glanced at Kyle, his dark eyes carrying a newfound reverence.

The sight before him was enough to make even him feel a little uneasy. Thousands of Celestials had been frozen in place by nothing more than a casual gesture from Kyle.

When Kyle moved his hand again, Alec’s expression changed. He immediately stepped forward, blocking his path.

"Wait. Don’t tell me you’re planning to kill everyone on the elders’ side directly?"

Kyle glanced at him, his expression calm.

"Or what?"

Alec’s eyebrow twitched.

For a moment, he didn’t know how to respond to that terrifying question. But soon, he forced a smile and continued.

"No, Kyle, you definitely can’t just kill thousands of people like this."

He gestured toward the frozen battlefield.

"Just deal with Osko and the other elders. As for everyone else, let us handle this. We should do something too, you know."

Alec paused, then added with a smile.

"Besides, you’ve already killed the Rulers. Leave these small fries to us for practice."

Kyle remained silent for a moment.

He simply stared at Alec.

That silence alone was enough to make Alec’s back dampen with nervous sweat. He had faced countless powerful opponents without flinching, yet somehow, standing beneath Kyle’s calm gaze felt far more intimidating.

Then Kyle finally nodded.

Alec immediately felt relieved.

"Alright. I’ll deal with the elders."

With those words, Kyle shifted his calm gaze toward Osko and the other arrogant elders of the Golden Hall of Light.

The elders, clad in luxurious robes, looked as though they had just seen a ghost. The only parts of their frozen bodies that could still move—their eyes—rolled wildly in their sockets the moment Kyle’s gaze landed on them.

Then, before everyone watching, Osko and the other elders of the Golden Hall of Light suffered the same fate as Yizhe, Mirabel, and the other Rulers working for the two.

Their bodies remained suspended in place as an invisible force enveloped them. Their expressions twisted with despair and agony, yet not a single sound escaped their lips.

Whatever Kyle did to them lasted only moments in the eyes of everyone watching.

But the expressions on the elders’ faces told a different story. The sheer terror and despair that surfaced in their eyes before they finally vanished into nothingness was something none of the Celestials present ever wanted to experience themselves. Not even the warriors and giants on their side.

Clan Leader Ares, Draevor, Guardian Zami, and their people also looked slightly pale.

A single thought crossed their minds.

Luckily, they were on Kyle’s side!

Otherwise, this terrifying Ice Devil would have given them the exact same fate!

Just imagining it sent a chill down their spines!

Among everyone frozen on the battlefield, however, Cassian was the only one who couldn’t tear his eyes away from Kyle.

There was no fear in his gaze.

Only relief.

After searching for him for so long, finally seeing Kyle standing there alive and well made something inside Cassian loosen.

He lowered his smiling gaze, unable to say the words he had carried in his heart for so long. In the end, he could only say them in his mind.

’Thank you... for pulling me out of the abyss.’

’And thank you... for still being alive.’

Cassian really couldn’t bring himself to say them aloud. Kyle seemed so distant now.

Standing so far beyond his reach that even speaking those words felt unnecessary. So, he decided to keep them buried in his heart.

But who would have thought that the man he had just believed to be beyond his reach would suddenly appear right before him?

Kyle looked at the Celestial before him.

Cassian’s gaze was lowered, but a faint smile lingered in his crimson eyes.

Kyle suddenly spoke.

"You look better now."

Cassian jolted in surprise at the sound of his voice, his eyes darting upward, only to meet Kyle’s gaze. He opened his mouth instinctively, only to find he could move.

A brief silence descended.

Ultimately, he only managed one word.

"Thanks."

His fingers unconsciously reached for his collarbones, a habit he couldn’t change.

Just as Cassian thought Kyle would leave, the tall man suddenly narrowed his eyes at him, a look of surprise crossing his face.

"Your smile isn’t ugly anymore either. It seems you’ve been taking care of yourself."

With that, Kyle suddenly reached out and casually patted Cassian on the shoulder.

"Good job."

Cassian: ???

This man really had to bring up sore old topics and ruin his cold and aloof image!

Geez.
