Celestial Bloodline Chapter 1003: I’m not a kid!

~4 minute read · 1,123 words

Ultimately, Nine was the first to break through the invisible wall around Kyle.

He patted him on the back.

"Anyway, when are you going to deal with those damn Rulers who escaped earlier?"

Kyle glanced at him. An inexplicable coldness flashed in his calm gaze.

"Me letting anyone escape isn’t escaping. It’s called giving the prey an illusion that it has a chance to survive, only to crush that hope when they finally think they’re safe."

Not just Nine. Everyone who heard Kyle’s words shuddered unconsciously. He had spoken so calmly, as though what he had just said wasn’t a threat but a simple fact.

They couldn’t help but wonder...

Fortunately, they were friends!

Otherwise, Kyle, this guy, would be the worst enemy anyone could ever make!

Jian swallowed before chuckling, trying to lighten the suddenly solemn atmosphere.

"I really want to kill all those Rulers myself, but it’s a pity I’m not powerful enough yet."

Kyle suddenly reached out and patted his shoulder, making him tense up nervously.

"Power doesn’t matter. With me here, vent your anger as much as you want. But leave their lives to me. I want to kill them myself."

The very next moment, with nothing more than a casual wave of his hand, the space before them suddenly rippled violently. And every Ruler who had fled moments ago was forcibly dragged back through the distorted space, crashing heavily onto the platform.

The entire process was so effortless that everyone around Kyle fell silent in disbelief.

Was this what happened when the power gap between two parties became a joke?

The Rulers, who had been dragged back to the familiar platform so effortlessly that it was as though their desperate escape had never happened, wanted to cry and beg for mercy. But to their horror, they couldn’t even move their bodies, let alone beg for mercy!

And Yizhe was among them as well.

Only Mirabel was still capable of moving her body. The moment she realized what had happened, she immediately cried out.

"You can’t do anything to me anymore!"

Her voice trembled with dread, yet she forced herself to appear brave before Kyle.

"You can’t!"

She frantically pointed to the Celestial Symbol on her forehead. With a crazed expression, she began shouting loudly.

"I have your Celestial Symbol! I’m the strongest Celestial in this realm now!"

Kyle finally spared her a glance.

His gaze sharpened when he saw the Snowflake Symbol on her forehead.

"That..."

He casually raised a hand.

The next second, the Celestial Symbol on Mirabel’s forehead abandoned her, leaving her body as easily as though she had never been worthy of having it in the first place.

"NO!"

Mirabel cried out frantically, desperately attempting to hold on to the cold, ethereal power leaving her body. But it was useless.

The snowflake Celestial Symbol floated through the air and obediently came to a stop above Kyle’s outstretched palm.

He lowered his gaze to it.

Then, with a slight clench of his fist, the snowflake-shaped symbol disappeared.

Kyle’s voice was cold and indifferent.

"My Celestial Symbol? No, it’s merely a phantom. Not real. It appeared because of the ice sword."

He paused briefly.

"Besides, I have plenty of these Celestial Symbols now. It’s just that, with my current strength, I have little use for such things."

With that, even Mirabel felt as though her body had been bound by invisible chains.

Just like the other struggling Rulers, she could only stare at Kyle and everyone else around her with horrified, bloodshot eyes.

Leon, who had walked over with Caria and Amon, stared at Kyle with sparkling eyes.

"Uncle Kyle is so, so powerful!"

He paused for a moment before adding with complete solemn seriousness.

"Even more formidable than Dad!"

Caria nodded quickly beside him, clearly agreeing with every single word he said.

Kyle chuckled at their words.

But Alec and Carcel’s brows twitched at their children’s sudden blunt declaration.

Still, neither of the two said anything.

After all, Kyle really was that powerful.

Even after reaching the Celestial Rank themselves, they could clearly feel that there was still a vast, enormous distance between them and Kyle—a distance that might take them a long time to bridge.

Right now, if the two tried to regain their image in front of their kids by challenging Kyle to a spar, the result would probably be the exact opposite of what they wanted.

They would be the ones beaten up!

And what frightened the two most, after seeing how effortlessly Kyle had handled so many Rulers, was that Kyle probably wouldn’t even need to lift a finger to do it!

How terrifying.

Lara and Mia noticed Alec and Carcel’s repeatedly shifting expressions. Smiling, they couldn’t help but roll their eyes.

Amon, who had silently listened to Leon and Caria praising his father, cleared his throat. Once everyone’s attention shifted toward him, he pointed toward the Rulers.

"They hurt everyone."

His voice was tinged with anger.

"They should suffer the same pain they inflicted on everyone before being killed!"

Kyle turned his gaze toward him.

"Come here."

Amon stiffened.

Even though he was still wearing a cold expression, he obediently walked over.

Kyle reached out and ruffled his hair.

"You’re still young. Go explore this place with your friends. It’ll be good experience."

Amon’s brows furrowed.

"I’m not a kid!"

Kyle raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, really? Then tell me, how long has it been since you woke up?"

Amon’s voice immediately faltered.

"Fifteen..."

Seeing the faint amusement in Kyle’s eyes, Amon gritted his teeth. He turned around and walked away, grabbing Caria and Leon along with him. But just as they stepped off the platform, Amon suddenly looked back.

"I still haven’t finished being angry with you!"

His voice was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Just because you saved us all doesn’t mean everything we went through can suddenly be forgotten!"

Yue called out.

"Amon!"

But Amon had already turned away and vanished, dragging the other two along.

It almost looked as if he were fleeing.

Kyle could see his figure even after he vanished. Seeing his red ears, he couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh as he turned toward Yue, patting their clasped hands.

"It’s fine."

His voice softened.

"I wasn’t there when he was born. Nor was I there while he was growing up."

His gaze lingered on Yue.

"I owe both of you those years. So... I’ll make it up to you, one day at a time."
