Blank demonstrated his overwhelming power by instantly obliterating every monster encountered in the dungeon. Elayne, meanwhile, began experimenting with her own abilities, combining various skills to create Composite Arts.

Elayne carefully combined the effects of several of her Skills at once. Speech of the Stars. Bushido. Iaijutsu. Sword Obsession. Bloodthirsty Sword. Nature Nether Spirit Soul Aura Manifestation. All of them fused together into what was known in this world as "Composite Arts" — the deliberate combination of various Skill effects into certain powerful and unique techniques!

It was a relatively simple yet devastating Composite Art. The combined essences coalesced into a grand glowing circle that spun within her very soul, weaving her different powers and the "cores" of the skills themselves into a brand-new force.

Tier 4 monsters succumbed almost immediately to the dozens of starlight-forged swords that rained down upon them. Even the more resilient Tier 5 creatures resisted the first waves of blades, yet they ultimately exploded from within as Twilight Flames spread through their bodies. The flames were carried by the specialized Spores Elayne had seeded earlier, which contaminated and steadily weakened every foe they touched.

Blank and Mark combined their strength to deal with the remaining Tier 5 threats more effectively. They split the massive creatures apart using powerful high-physical-strength weapon techniques that shook the surrounding caverns.

However, while Mark was undeniably strong, he still could not quite catch up to Blank’s immense raw power. Even though he had received a significant buff from gaining a second race with Elayne’s help, that new race was still leveling independently. It needed more time before it could evolve further, grant him additional stats, and unlock new skills.

Yet there was something that existed beyond mere stats and skills — something Blank already possessed. True Cultivation and refined Martial Arts. It was exactly the path Mark sought so desperately in his attempt to become more than just a warrior whose power was entirely defined by the system.

To achieve that, he had to forget about skills entirely and stop relying on them. He had to stop looking at his status window or obsessing over his numerical stats. He needed to completely disassociate himself from the system’s touch.

He had to draw out what already existed within him without calling for named powers or external assistance. He had to use the pure flames of his own soul.

The suffering, the endless torture, the pain, the despair, and the deep agony that defined him as an Undead.

Mark began to draw upon that power with focused intensity. He forged a new sword from pure will, fusing it with Ignias and creating something... that even Blank noticed with genuine interest.

He had forged a sword from his own soul, one that would not disappear with a simple touch or the passage of time.

It was a blade that had been folded dozens of times over, heavily compressed, then reforged, enhanced, and powered up solely by the strength of his unyielding will.

He gave it a simple yet fitting name.

It was a two-handed Greatsword of immense size and weight — so heavy that even Blank was not certain he could lift it easily.

Why?

Because the sword did not carry ordinary physical weight. It carried the accumulated weight of Mark’s agony, his long suffering, and the very curse that had shaped him into the Undead warrior he had become.

This power, this Phoenix Sword Soul, was defined by the Phoenix that had accidentally become his most prized Totem Spirit. Above all, it embodied his new life as a warrior who was constantly put down, yet never truly gave up, and always stood back up to fight again.

The massive Patchwork Abomination screamed in pure agony. A single vertical slash from the Phoenix Sword Soul divided its entire body cleanly into two halves. Searing phoenix flames burned through both its soul and physical form, leaving it writhing in final torment.

With that decisive blow, every monster within the immediate vicinity had been slain. It did not seem that any further enemies were coming their way for the moment.

Elayne looked at the cascade of notifications with gleaming eyes full of satisfaction.

"Huh?"

Elayne was slightly taken aback by the unexpected notifications. It seemed that the requirements were not even completely fulfilled, yet an error had occurred that allowed her to bypass them entirely.

She had absorbed that Class Changing Stone earlier — literally eating it and making its essence part of her soul. Could it be that doing so had granted her some kind of "Key" capable of bypassing the normal requirements?

It was a genuine relief. The list of demands had been growing a little ridiculous.

However, this time she did not even receive a list of available Druidic Circles to choose from. She was left wondering what would actually happen if she pressed [Yes].

Slightly afraid of the unknown outcome and deciding it was wiser to leave the Rank Up for later, she turned her attention to Mark instead. She walked toward him after witnessing the amazing attack he had just unleashed.
