The moment they walked into the Dungeon, Elayne and the rest of the group were immediately greeted by a massive swarm of monstrosities.

Aberrant zombie-like creatures with long tongues that ended in sharp, bladed bones charged toward them without hesitation. These were powerful Tier 3 inhabitants of the Dungeon.

It seemed that all the loud noise caused by completely destroying the sealed gates in order to enter had called forth every nearby creature. The gates had clearly been locked from the inside.

"I wonder why they chose to seal the gates while leaving these monsters trapped inside with them!" Blank said with clear irritation. "Who could have done something like this? Was it Jester acting out of pure cruelty?"

As he wondered aloud, he stepped forward. His body shone so brightly white amidst the surrounding darkness that he illuminated everything around him like a small supernova — a pure white star.

His Soul Bound Relic gleamed with intense light. With a single precise thrust, an eternal white void consumed every foe in front of him.

The monstrous long-tongued creatures were completely vaporized. They did not even leave residual matter behind — only small, shattered nether cores remained on the ground.

A large hole was left through the caves, still burning with pure white flames.

"You clearly were mad, huh?" Elayne wondered with a soft sigh.

"After they started provoking me and saying I wasn’t as strong as I claimed to be, I decided it was time to show them the truth," Blank replied coldly. "Just sit back, Elayne, and enjoy the show."

Elayne was surprised at first, but as they continued advancing it became obvious that Blank had grown genuinely angry from the earlier provocations of the other men in the group.

His White Maiden moved perfectly with his will. A single thrust was all it took, and pure white light was the last thing his enemies ever saw.

As they moved deeper through the dungeon, wave after wave of monsters kept coming — and each group was instantly vaporized over and over again.

Their bodies disappeared completely, leaving only ashes and a few cracked cores behind. Perhaps out of simple courtesy more than anything else, Blank did not bother collecting the materials himself.

Elayne simply enjoyed the "bus ride" and walked behind him while calmly gathering the leftover cores into her inventory. Everyone else was forced to watch in silence as Blank grumpily killed everything that appeared with nothing more than a single thrust of his lance.

Monsters that would normally have required some real effort from the group — such as a Tier 4 Rotten Colossus or even a wandering Tier 5 Boss in the form of a monstrous Patchwork Abomination — were all instantly dealt with by a single blow.

They were left completely speechless.

Sailor’s mouth hung open for the entire time it took them to finally arrive at the center of the dungeon, where they began to find clear traces of people having lived here recently.

Mark remained silent throughout most of the display and seemed a little annoyed as well. Blank was clearly showing off, and Mark was surprised that Elayne had not said anything about the arrogant behavior.

"Elayne, is this really fine?" he asked quietly. "He’s clearly showing off and being a complete dick about it."

"Hahaha, I’ve never seen you get this mad before, Mark," Elayne chuckled softly. "You and Sailor were the ones who started fighting with him earlier, so just watch and see what he can really do, okay?"

Mark did not say another word. He simply watched in silence as a dozen Tier 4 monsters suddenly came running toward them.

These new enemies were Abyssal Myconids — giant humanoid mushrooms that moved and teleported freely through the shadows.

They were the exact same species Elayne had once evolved into!

However, it seemed they neither recognized her nor cared about her presence. They attacked her with the same hostility as everyone else.

Maybe if she had evolved all the way into an Abyssal Myconid Queen the situation would have been different, but she clearly had not taken that path.

"Wow!" she said as she neatly avoided an attack coming straight toward her. "Alright, let’s see... Stop."

Starlight concentrated into a glowing circle behind her back, forming an almost god-like halo made of false stars. The light forced the nearest monsters to freeze in place.

[Abyssal Myconid Shadow Assassin – Tier 4]

They were "shadow assassins" that belonged to a larger queen’s colony. They had been sent here to investigate the disturbance and, ultimately, to be hopelessly slaughtered.

Even a monstrous Tier 4 creature like this was nothing special to Elayne at her current level.

However, she decided it was time to let her familiars contribute as well.

Trickster laughed with chaotic glee and began firing beams of pure chaos at the approaching foes.

Countless explosions erupted at the same time as Elayne used the power of Speech of the Stars to stop the remaining monsters’ movements for a single critical second — just long enough for her named Sporeborns to finish them off.

Lady charged forward and tanked the heavy blows from a nearby Rotten Colossus, while Wendigo charged in wildly and began tearing through the ranks of the Abyssal Myconid colony army with brutal efficiency.

More of the fungal assassins kept emerging from crevices in the walls, moving like true ninjas as they surged out of the shadows themselves to launch surprise attacks!

Yet they all died hopelessly as Elayne calmly placed her hands together and checked her skill list for just a single second.

That one second was more than enough for her to review the effects of her abilities and, more importantly, to decide how she could combine them in a more effective and efficient way.
