[Your Level has increased from Level 263 to Level 276/300!]
[Several Skills have gained Bonus Skill Proficiency and Leveled Up!]
"Oh, thirteen levels! That’s not bad at all!"
The number of true Tier 3 monsters among the wave had been minimal — only a few dozen at most. The vast majority had been Tier 2. Still, the Experience Points gained were more than enough for a solid jump in levels. The bonus skill proficiency from destroying so many foes with a single overwhelming blow had also helped several of her skills level up nicely.
"Alright, I believe we should get going," Mark said. "Where’s the Dungeon located? Blank, do you know the way?"
"Over there," Blank pointed into the distance with his lance, the White Maiden. "It is a similar cavernous dungeon built inside the mountains. According to the old legends, those mountains were formed from the bones of the ancient titan that originally created the labyrinth. This dungeon is of a higher level than the previous one we visited. Tier 3 monsters are commonplace inside."
"Nice!" Elayne said with clear enthusiasm. "Alright, you guys, please carry us there!"
Elayne clapped her hands once. Instantly all the remaining corpses of the monsters she had defeated rose from the ground. Thick fungus and large mushroom caps bloomed across their bodies as they fused together into one giant corpse-fungus centipede. Elayne could seamlessly manipulate anything her mycelial roots expanded into and grew through. Even though she had evolved past her pure fungi race, she still retained every one of those skills.
"Incredible. This level of Undead manipulation is truly impressive!" Blank said in genuine disbelief.
"She’s seamlessly melding the corpses together into an actual vehicle undead?!" Sailor gasped.
"You’ve become a very proficient necromancer...!" Mark added with a smile.
"N-Necromancer?! No, this is just manipulating mushrooms... it’s pure druidic work! I am harmonizing with nature itself. I-It’s completely different from the way necromancers enslave souls...!" Elayne insisted, a little flustered. "A-Anyway, let’s go!"
The giant centipede even possessed comfortable seats formed from large, soft mushroom caps. They were pleasantly warm and easy to sit on. The chimeric undead centipede let out a low roar and rapidly began moving across the wastelands.
The three named Sporeborns ran right alongside the vehicle, constantly scanning the surroundings and making sure nothing could ambush the group.
As they drew closer to their destination, a huge sealed gate appeared in front of them.
"There it is — the Dungeon Gate."
The giant centipede stopped moving because it was far too large to fit through the entrance. Elayne gently patted its head and smiled. "Stay here for now, baby."
the giant centipede let out a surprisingly cute screech and nodded in understanding.
"Alright guys, let’s go."
Elayne walked toward the gate with a bright smile, swaying her wide hips in a naturally sexy manner without realizing it. The movement easily earned the attention of the men walking behind her.
"..." Dorothy glared at Norman and gave his skull a sharp smack. "Norman~?"
"A-Ah, yes?" he gasped. "I wasn’t looking... I am just a skeleton, after all."
"She’s fine," Sailor nodded casually. "Every time our master evolves, she becomes even more beautiful. Mark is a lucky guy for sure."
"..." Blank bit his lip. He had never felt this strongly attracted to an undead female before, and the feeling left him with a strange sense of guilt.
"Ah, it won’t open..." Elayne said after pushing against the heavy doors. "Blank? Huh? Blank?"
"Ah! Yes?" Blank snapped out of his daze and quickly forced his eyes back up to her face instead of her rear. "Sorry. What did you say? About the gate?"
"It won’t open..." Elayne repeated. "Mark, can you help?"
"I’m on it," Mark nodded and immediately began pushing the gate with all his strength.
His Strength stats were extremely high, so the gate began to tremble under the pressure. Yet it still refused to budge. Instead, deep cracks started spreading across its surface.
"Wait!" Blank stopped him quickly. "This is odd... Could it be that someone closed the gate from the inside? Why? How? Is there already someone in there?"
"Is this gate a natural part of the dungeon?" Elayne asked.
"It was built by the nobles of the nearby town to seal the entrance and prevent monsters from escaping," Blank explained. "It can be sealed from either the outside or the inside. It seems someone went in and locked it behind them! And the only person who possesses that key is... could it be? Is she still alive?! We can’t waste any more time. Let’s just destroy the gate for now. We can always build a new one later!"
Mark nodded firmly. "Let’s do this."
Elayne smiled and stepped forward. "Let me help!"
Blank gently stopped her, however. "No. You are a beautiful maiden. Please stay aside, Elayne. This is a task for the men to handle. Norman, Sailor! Come here."
"B-But I am strong too..." Elayne blushed as she watched the four men gather and begin pushing the gate with all their combined strength. "Oh my! Such strong men, fufu. It feels a little flattering to be protected this much...!"
"It’s only natural," Mark said with a warm smile. "Let us take care of the heavy lifting. You’ve already fought and done more than enough for us. Now... one, two...!"
All four of them pushed together with their full strength.
The magical seal on the gate shattered instantly. All of the residual magic disappeared as the entire structure exploded outward into pieces, clearly showcasing just how powerful her male companions had become.
"Fufu, aren’t they strong~?" Dorothy giggled with a happy humming sound.
"Indeed!" Elayne nodded and clapped her hands. "Wonderfully done, boys. You’re all great!"
Shade remained silent. He simply admired their raw physical strength while looking down at his own shadowy hands. Shadows were among the weakest undead races when it came to pure physical power, as they were mostly intangible beings — specters who had long since lost their original identities.
"It’s done. Let’s move!" Mark said.
Elayne walked forward and took the lead. Everyone remained on high alert for any monsters that might appear at any moment.
It did not take long at all before a group of them found the party.
Aberrant zombie-like creatures with long tongues that ended in sharp, bladed bones charged toward them. These were powerful Tier 3 inhabitants of the Dungeon.
