As Elayne fought Noah, Rider arrived with Olivia, intervening when Noah sent a fragment of himself to kill her. Unbeknownst to them, these vampires were a new lineage sent by the planet itself. Elayne's Spirit Seeds ruined Noah's plans to attack Olivia and Rider, but Noah then unleashed a devastating self-evolved attack, overwhelming Elayne and causing the world around them to shatter.
A colossal pillar of light pierced the heavens. The ongoing Blood Apocalypse was instantly halted as Elayne's aura expanded outwards, taking the form of a magnificent, titanic tree. From its massive trunk, innumerable colossal roots erupted, accompanied by surging waves of vibrant vegetation. Enormous Titans and Golems materialized beside her, brought forth from the very earth.
Elayne's three paramount Skills as a Ruler-Class Spirit were thus:
True Name Discernment (A)
As the Ruler, Gaia Mater possessed the innate ability to instantly perceive the true identity and fundamental nature of other Servants, including any concealed divinity, curses, or conceptual irregularities.
Magic Resistance (A)
She maintained a high degree of resistance against magecraft, for the will of the planet itself predated all forms of human sorcery.
God’s Resolution (EX)
A distinctive Ruler skill. Within a designated area, Gaia Mater held the authority to enforce "natural law," effectively suppressing any abilities that defied the world’s inherent balance, such as manifestations of reality distortion, excessive divine power, or eldritch corruption.
Concurrently, her Personal Skills encompassed the following:
Earth Pulse Connection (A+)
Gaia Mater was intrinsically linked to the planet’s ley lines, enabling her to draw mana directly from the Earth. She could also detect spatial disturbances and manipulate the terrain with remarkable ease.
Primordial Authority (A)
This skill granted her dominion over natural phenomena, including stone, soil, roots, tectonic forces, and the very life essence of the planet. However, it offered no control over artificial constructs or human-manufactured weaponry.
Mother of Life (B+)
A potent ability centered on healing and nurturing. She could restore vitality, cleanse corruption, and stabilize deteriorating ecosystems. Its effectiveness was diminished against undead beings or entities that actively rejected the natural order.
When all these skills were unleashed in unison, the resulting impact was catastrophic.
True Name Discernment empowered her to discern Noah's true form and essence. Magic Resistance compelled him to exert his full strength if he harbored any genuine intent to harm her. God’s Resolution granted her the capacity to redefine the laws governing the world, twisting reality to manifest her current might while simultaneously curbing Noah’s dark, eldritch powers and forcing him to undergo a transformation to confront her.
Earth Pulse Connection allowed her to forge a direct link with the planet, drawing immense mana from it and significantly lessening the burden on her daughter. Primordial Authority enabled her to reshape the surrounding landscape, precisely as she was doing at that moment. Mother of Life sustained her vitality, keeping her rejuvenated and radiating life force against Noah. Although he possessed a natural resistance, it was not absolute.
Vampires, by their nature, opposed humanity's Natural History, meaning any power derived from humanity would be considerably weakened against them. Yet, the power emanating from a goddess was different.
And what transpires when the combined might of humanity and a goddess converge?
Deprived of her Divine Treasures, Elayne instead channeled the most profound treasure residing within her own "History." She was the woman who stood defiantly between two realms, a martyr who had willingly sacrificed herself for the sake of her offspring.
The world's unseen hero. The heralded rebirth of Yggdrasil from Arcadia, now intrinsically connected to Earth, which in turn corrupted the planet's Natural History. This very corruption had paved the way for her initial summoning as a Heroic Spirit.
Noah's eyes widened in astonishment.
"You..."
His sharp, crimson eyes gleamed as his lean physique began to swell, growing progressively more muscular.
He braced himself, undergoing a transformation and shattering his limitations once more.
The towering pillar of light, which had assumed the shape of a tree, now evolved into a colossal, living World Tree, spreading across the battlefield and manifesting as a titanic female figure.
Elayne's hands remained clasped together in a posture of supplication.
Her Treasure, belonging to her as both Elayne and Planta, now made its appearance.
It was the formidable power of Planta, operating as a World Boss.
From the colossal titaness, countless wooden cannons materialized, charging with vast reserves of divine and primordial energy.
And then...
To Noah's utter disbelief, hundreds of cannons unleashed their fury simultaneously. Beams and lasers shot forth with blinding speed, possessing such overwhelming destructive force that they warped the very fabric of space.
"Hah..."
Noah smiled as he found himself bombarded by an onslaught of attacks far exceeding the power of his own Blood Apocalypse.
He charged headlong through the fiery explosions, his body repeatedly torn asunder only to regenerate with enhanced strength each time.
"I shall simply adapt to your power!"
His own blood began to radiate the power of an internal dimension. A Domain formed around the mysterious and formidably potent vampire, manifesting as a swirling galaxy of pure blood and shadows that served to shield him from Elayne’s barrage of cannons.
From within the Blood Sea Domain, colossal figures of crimson blood emerged, roaring as they engaged Elayne. Each of these giants was uniquely formed.
"Your power does not instill fear in me, goddess of life!" Noah declared. "For I have dwelled in death for countless millennia while ruling my Realm. Though I may be unknown in this world, within the Abyss, I am recognized as the Blood God Emperor."
"A Realm? The Abyss?!" Elayne echoed, realization dawning that this world comprised numerous interconnected Realms spanning different planes. The Abyss itself sounded like a desolate Underworld or Netherworld. "Are these the Realms you hail from, Blood God Emperor? And why manifest here? Why inflict suffering upon the innocent? Why at this particular moment?!"
"As I've already explained," Noah responded, puncturing through Elayne’s wooden defenses and evading a barrage of hyper-focused divine laser beams. "My objective is the Holy Grail, and I am not here to engage in polite games like the rest of you."
"You are nothing but an interloper!" Olivia bellowed from a distance. "You appeared from nowhere, demanding the Grail as if we would ever surrender it to you, you scoundrel! Rider, attack!"
Raising his resplendent bow, crafted from pure sunlight, Rider unleashed a volley of a dozen explosive, potent arrows that battered Noah without pause.
Consumed by his own arrogance, the Blood God Emperor entirely disregarded the Heroic Spirit, absorbing every impact while Elayne's golden blade slashed against him. Her colossal tree form provided unwavering defensive cover, simultaneously raining down laser strikes from every conceivable angle.
Noah’s eyes widened in alarm as his entire being became riddled with openings. Elayne’s sword cleaved directly through his Primordial Blood Sea. His Blood Soul Servants began perishing instantaneously, dissolving into dust as her blade enacted its exorcism.
Had he acted with too much haste? This had appeared to be a prime opportunity, yet he found himself on the losing end.
Perhaps he had underestimated the true capabilities of someone like Elayne.
Or perhaps...
It could be that he hadn't yet unleashed his full power.
It was a personal failing of his, a recurring habit.
The inclination to gradually augment his strength to meet his adversary, rather than confronting them at full capacity from the outset. Otherwise, the entire engagement would become far too mundane.
A serene smile graced his features as Elayne’s sword executed numerous cascading star-like assaults, impaling him repeatedly before concluding with a final Divine Exorcizing Blade that sliced him neatly in two.
