While she knew about it, talking openly made a big difference. Jiao Lizhi flushed with embarrassment from his comment and smacked his back. "Pervert!"

Jin Xuyan chuckled at her rebuke. Noticing her reddened cheeks, he leaned in for another kiss and added, "I’m a pervert. You knew that right from our first encounter at Lin’an University."

As they stepped out of the house at last, departure loomed near. Accompanying him to the training area, Jiao Lizhi noticed the team already assembled and waiting.

In atonement, Jiao Lizhi provided not just supplies, pond water, and crystal cores, but also tossed in treats and extra Sthanam crystals.

Observing the generous quantity beyond the norm, the team members lit up with joy and expressed gratitude. Her treats consisted of ripe fruits. Unlike the base's strawberries, these were apples, peaches, bananas, and cherries.

The veterans grew accustomed to her conjuring unavailable base items. Yet the rookies stood dumbfounded. Boxes of vibrant fruits materialized before their astonished stares.

Though Pei Gan's dispatched mutants' locations remained a mystery, post-clash with the zombie cockroach, undead, and altered creatures, no traces emerged in nearby urban and rural spots.

Thus, Lunar Base faced no immediate threats. Upon learning from Xun Che of the assault on the hidden outpost, Chen Qianxiao's unit rushed back, stationing their accompanying sentries as Lunar Base backups.

By nine in the morning, the helicopter arrived at Lunar City Base. Amid the falling snow, a 20-km perimeter stayed unobstructed. Numerous squads shoveled snow and dispatched zombies.
