Ron successfully absorbed the "Frenzied Heart" using the pocket watch, calming Fenrir's chaotic power. He then tested the newly acquired Fenrir projection, noting its time-slowing field and powerful "Time Rend" self-destruct ability. As the mental realm collapsed, Ron used the wrench key to create a stable light channel, escaping with Aselia and Nari into a bizarre, distorted reality.

As the three dashed out of the tunnel of light, a strong sense of weightlessness and dizziness hit them like a tidal wave.

Ron felt his inner ear balance system completely out of control, as if suddenly thrown into a gravity-free space.

The churning in his stomach made him almost want to vomit, and this discomfort gradually subsided only after several seconds.

When their vision cleared, the scene before them left all three stunned.

They were standing on a floating metal platform.

Looking upward, there was an endlessly deep, pitch-black “ground.”

Countless broken buildings and mountains hung like stalactites, seemingly about to fall at any moment.

The details of those buildings were clearly visible.

Spires, arched bridges, and even some inverted gardens, with flowers and vines growing downward against gravity.

The air itself seemed to be divided into neat grids by some invisible gears, creating a strange “layered feeling” while breathing.

“Oh my…” Nari steadied himself with his six hands, the tentacles wriggling uneasily under his cloak:

“This place makes me dizzy. Why don’t those things above fall down?”

Aselia, in Ron’s arms, furrowed her brow in thought before speaking:

“Gravity is completely inverted. Or rather, there is no unified concept of gravity here. Each area has its own ‘downward.'”

Just as they were trying to adapt to this inverted environment, the voices of three Magic Rabbits leisurely echoed from all directions.

Affected by the environment, their voices became inverted as well.

Bass turned into treble, and treble turned into bass, like playing a voice recording in reverse:

“Welcome to Sloka’s ‘Inverted Potion Workshop’…”

Nari blinked in confusion:

“What are they saying? I can’t understand a word.”

Having experienced a similar situation in the Absurd Treasure Vault, Ron immediately understood:

“Read each word backward; they are saying ‘Welcome to Carlos’s Inverted Potion Workshop.’

The Magic Rabbit’s voice continued, becoming even more eerie:

“Here, please be cautious of your ‘common sense,’ for that will be your greatest enemy.”

Ron took a deep breath of the layered air, trying to comprehend the rules of this world:

“It seems the core concept of Carlos’s domain is ‘inversion.’ Everything here follows a logic contrary to common sense.”

They walked along a metal staircase that seemed to extend upward, but in fact, led to the ‘downward’ sky.

With each step, the direction of gravity subtly changed, requiring constant adjustment of body balance to adapt to the new ‘downward’ direction.

While progressing, Nari couldn’t help but voice his question:

“Honey, aside from the two dogs you just accepted, during the last historical dive, mom helped you acquire a better helper, which is the Apostle projection inside you named Sarlin.”

His six eyes were full of confusion:

“Why not just summon her and tear these annoying hounds apart?”

Before Ron could explain, Aselia spoke in her usual mature tone:

“It’s useless, tentacle monster. Do you think this place is the real world?”

The girl’s expression turned exceedingly serious, an age-defying wisdom showing again:

“This ‘Land of Mirrors’ is essentially a mental domain, constructed by part of the hounds’ will and the power of the King of Absurdity as a ‘playground.'”

She glanced at the figure in the black cloak beside her, ensuring Nari was listening carefully:

“The rules here favor concepts and symbols, pursuing a certain abstract ‘harmony’ rather than pure energy overpowering.”

“Leila’s essence is ‘illusion’ and ‘lies,’ Fenrir’s essence is ‘destruction’ and ‘creation.’ They are the guardians of their respective playgrounds, so their powers can manifest here.”

Aselia tucked her silver hair behind her ear:

“But Sarlin’s essence as an Apostle is ‘corruption’ and ‘temptation,’ which doesn’t align with this place.

Forcibly summoning her would be like trying to summon a tsunami in a desert; not only would the power greatly diminish, but it might also lead to the projection collapsing due to a conflict of rules.”

Nari nodded with dawning understanding but still had doubts in his eyes:

“Then why can the hound’s projections be used normally?”

Ron took over to explain to them:

“Because the Leila and Fenrir projections I use now are spoils of victory from battle, and have already been acknowledged by the Magic Rabbit. They may have been designated as a part of this mental space, possessing the authority of free movement here.”

He gently caressed the silver Pocket Watch over his chest:

“Moreover, summoning Apostle projections consumes far more than summoning elite hound projections.

Because last time, mom handled it very cleanly, almost preserving a large portion of Sarlin’s power traces.”

“Therefore, Sarlin’s projection would possess a certain self-awareness, which further increases the consumption, almost draining my Spiritual Power.”

Ron’s expression grew solemn:

“This is a last resort to be used in life-and-death situations, not something to waste lightly.”

Nari suddenly understood, slapping his forehead with a tentacle:

“I see! Mom thought brute strength could eliminate all obstacles.”

Aselia couldn’t help but roll her eyes:

“Strength is undoubtedly important, but sometimes ingenuity triumphs over brute force; that’s the significance of wisdom.”
