Baroque's artificially enhanced bloodline is discovered by the ancient dragon Red and other dragon souls. Despite his shame and anger, Red acknowledges Baroque as a descendant and bestows a gift upon him, while Cecilia observes Baroque's pain with growing interest.

Edwin dusted off his clothes, the residual heat from the Magma Armor causing the air around him to subtly distort:

"Ralph, how’s your harvest? We’ve collected twenty-three basic crystals here, and one Chaos crystal."

His voice carried satisfaction, but there was no slackening of the vigilance in his eyes.

In this environment, any lapse could be fatal.

Patty descended from the air slowly, the membranes of her wind wings making a subtle whistle as they folded:

"I scouted the surroundings and found at least three teams converging towards the central area.

If we delay any longer, we might be trapped."

Her expression was extremely grave; as the scout of the team, she understood the urgency of time more than anyone else.

Laku crouched on the ground, hands pressed down, feeling the vibration patterns of the earth.

The sand under his control constantly changed shape, finally forming a three-dimensional map:

"Based on the analysis of vibration transmission, there is large-scale elemental activity in the center area. We must choose the safest route."

He pointed at a few curves on the sand map:

"These red areas represent high-intensity elemental conflict; entering them could cause one to be torn apart by elemental storms.

The blue areas are relatively safe, but movement speed will be greatly restricted."

Ron also displayed his harvest; various colors of crystals in the Storage Bag sparkled like stars:

"I have a good harvest as well, enough to meet the points requirement. The key now is how to safely reach the center area."

......

"I propose adopting a layered defense strategy next."

After a round of intelligence exchange, Ron synthesized all the information, beginning to formulate a specific action plan:

"Laku is responsible for making Sand Puppets to scout ahead; these puppets don’t need complicated functions, their primary role is to trigger traps and draw attention."

"Patty provides aerial warning and fire support, but maintains enough altitude to avoid being targeted by ground attacks.

If we encounter threats we can’t handle, retreating to preserve strength is more important than personal heroism."

"Edwin’s Magma traps are set at critical nodes, not for killing but to delay pursuing forces.

Remember, our goal is to arrive safely, not to prove ourselves."

The three of them exchanged glances, seeing agreement in each other’s eyes.

This tactical arrangement based on realistic considerations inspires more trust among Wizards than any impassioned rallying cry.

As the team begins acting according to plan, Aselia scoffs in Ron’s consciousness:

"These modern Wizards’ tactics... are just like playing house."

"What do you mean?"

Ron asks inwardly, while outwardly nodding to Edwin’s suggestion.

"In my era, even teams at Morning Star Mage level would use ’Elemental Resonance Network’ for real-time communication."

Aselia’s voice carries nostalgia for the past:

"Configuring ’Adaptive Shield Array’ to automatically adjust defense parameters based on attack type, and ’Space Anchors’ to prevent teleporting attacks or spatial lockdowns."

"Your current primitive gesture communication and voice commands are like primitive people fighting with stones and sticks."

As Ron manipulates the Magic Sword to transform into the Magic Wand shape, he inquires further in his mind:

"Did your era really have such advanced technology?"

"Advanced? Child, you can’t imagine the prosperity of the Second Era."

Aselia’s tone becomes more proud, as if describing the greatness of some Golden Era civilization:

"When I was a young dragon, Floating Cities were everywhere in the sky.

Every city was a complete ecosystem, self-sufficient and magnificent."

"Ordinary People could ride ’Magic Power Rails’ to shuttle between different cities as easily as you walk now.

These rails were made of pure condensed Magic Power, woven into a brilliant Light Net between the clouds."

She pauses for a moment, her voice tinged with nostalgia becoming even stronger:

"Even farmers could use ’Growth Promotion Arrays’ to mature crops in a day, and use ’Weather Regulation Towers’ to control rainfall and sunlight in specific areas.

Disease? Aging? Those were small problems easily solved by conventional methods."

"Everyone could access ’Knowledge Sharing Networks’ from birth, instantly transferring skills and experience.

Genius discoveries could spread globally in minutes, and Ordinary People could grasp complex theories instantly."

This description left Ron deeply shocked.

He thought of the Faruk Kingdom he had seen.

The common people still lived lives akin to the Middle Ages, with even the most basic medical and educational resources extremely scarce.

As he immersed himself in this historical information, the team had already begun advancing towards the central region.

The Sand Puppets created by Laku scouted ahead; though their construction was simple, they were highly sensitive to danger.

Patty circled at thirty meters, her eyes enhanced by Magic Power, able to capture any subtle changes on the ground.

Edwin laid Magma traps along the way.

Each was meticulously designed to cause effective harm without exposing the team’s true route.

"An interesting cooperative model."

Aselia evaluates in consciousness:

"Though the technical means are primitive, the tactical thinking is fairly clear.

At least it’s better than my Dragon Race companions who only knew to charge head-on."
