Her silver-white hair fell over Her shoulders like flowing water, every step bearing a resolute, unyielding determination.
At Her side followed Reina and Erin; both wore grave expressions, yet were laden with hope and strength.
"There seems to be some indescribable resonance between the Rainbow Core and the Obelisk."
Reina spoke in a low voice; She fixed Her gaze upon the small Magic device placed between the two, its surface flickering with a faint light.
"If we can activate the Rainbow Core, we might be able to stir the information Contract hidden deep within the Obelisk."
Hill nodded, slowly extending both hands toward the Rainbow Core. Azure Magic Power surged through Her entire body, merging and resonating with that great Gem of sevenfold brilliance, which was even now being corroded and devoured by the taint of Chaos.
Fine ripples spread from the Queen’s fingertips into the Crystal core, causing rings of seven-colored light to unfold segment by segment, like the firmament blossoming with resplendent stars.
Suddenly, a beam of dazzling, supremely pure Flame burst from the heart of the Rainbow Core, weaving through the air into a bridge of Flame that reached straight to the obsidian-forged summit of the Obelisk.
That Flame burned fierce yet did not scorch; instead, it washed the surrounding Chaos as a sacred Holy Spring would.
As this sacred Fire was kindled, a powerful Energy Wave surged outward, sweeping away all drifting dust and gloom, so that the once hazy, indistinct chains of Runes rapidly revealed themselves in a state of preternatural clarity, shining and shifting in unfathomable patterns.
These Runes writhed and extended like living things, adorning the entire surface of the Obelisk as a vibrant information network, its textures and channels crisscrossing in complex layers yet arrayed in clear order, as precise and perfect as the trajectories of the Cosmos.
Reina held Her breath and watched. Her fingers brushed along the Runes flowing in the void, and with each touch, a tremor passed into Her mind: an immeasurably ancient, all-encompassing cipher of knowledge.
"These... are an end-time prophecy left behind by an elder civilization."
She murmured, "Its meaning is deep and intricate, but I have grasped the single most crucial line within."
The Queen inclined Her head to listen. Those gentle, clear words, imbued with a certain solemn, irresistible power, seemed to travel from times immemorial:
"When Element returns to Chaos,
Divine Fire shall reignite,
The end of all phenomena is also their rebirth,
Where order and destruction intertwine..."
As the voice faded, a light breeze stirred across the Marble Square; heaven and earth seemed to fall into stillness. Innumerable floating motes of dust shimmered with star-like radiance, while the Divine Fire leaping about the Queen’s fingertips grew yet brighter, hotter, shining like the dawn of a new day upon this Earth steeped in peril yet pregnant with hope.
Erin gripped Her Magic Staff tightly, Frost Energy surging, restrained, within Her eyes. "This is the most profound warning for the situation we face, and also a clue to how we might one day overcome Chaos."
Hill’s gaze shone with unwavering resolve as She looked to the distant edge of the atmosphere, where oppressive clouds massed and Lightning raged. "It seems that this so-called ’Chaos’ is not mere annihilation, but an inevitable form in the evolution of the Elemental World.
And ’Divine Fire’ may be a power beyond our current understanding, one that will guide us into a new epoch."
They fell silent for a long time; in the hall, only faint breaths and the occasional flicker of data ripples could be heard.
In such a moment, one that concerned survival itself and the future of destiny, each of them felt the weight upon their shoulders, and the oppressive strain of the long, unknown road of challenges ahead.
Yet they knew no fear, for they understood that this prophecy did not merely reveal crisis; it also proclaimed where hope lay—so long as they clasped truth, there was no obstacle that could not be surpassed!
Reina steadied Her breathing and once more plunged Her consciousness into the informational network of the void, trying to fully decipher more hidden contents. Yet even so vast and intricate a data stream could not unveil all secrets, leaving behind countless riddles for them to unravel step by step—
The new Chapter concerning the final destination of Element was about to slowly unfold...
Beyond, wind and rain were gradually subsiding; a ray of morning light spilled through the shattered dome, reflecting the fierce hope within their hearts.
Dense dark clouds rolled, covering half the sky; the world was flooded with a strong sense of scorching anxiety, as though all things trembled and shrank beneath this shadow of the end times.
The Master of Flame Demon stood atop a burning mountain peak, His body consumed by Hell’s Flame. That blazing Fire coursed and danced across His skin like veins of molten rock, roaring thunderously.
His eyes gleamed blood-red, flashing with a mad, cold, merciless light.
"At last... the time of advancement has come."
His voice surged like a furious tide rising from the depths of the Abyss, reverberating through the entire valley.
With those words, the boundless Blaze within Him flared suddenly, like a great furnace that devoured heaven and earth, tempering His already terrifying form into something even larger, even more indomitable.
The Master of Flame Demon slowly raised both hands. From the void coalesced a deep crimson, undying spirit of Hell’s Flame, a soul of burning Fire—that was the ultimate power woven of corrosion and destruction.
He opened His vast, fanged maw and swallowed that Hellfire soul in one gulp. Instantly, His whole body was shrouded in a searing, dreadful Energy, like a living volcano on the verge of erupting.
His skin began to split with cracks, from which poured molten, scalding, blood-red fluid that dripped to the charred ground beneath His feet, hissing into white steam.
His body swelled and warped with terrifying speed; each breath raised savage, scalding currents that scorched the air until it twisted and deformed.
"Magma Giant of ten thousand fathoms... appear in this world!" He bellowed, and from His body erupted raging Flame, shaping Him into a humanoid Giant Beast hundreds of meters tall, His entire form sheathed in molten Scale Armor, twin eyes blazing with light like the heart of the sun.
With every movement it was as though space-time itself were torn; a world-ending force twisted the colors of heaven and earth as if they neared collapse.
His right foot came crashing down; the Earth roared and quaked, and an ancient mountain range was crushed to powder in an instant. Countless shards of stone and jets of scalding magma blasted outward, spreading like the descent of doomsday judgment.
After that earth-shattering blow, He strode forward slowly; every step He set down became a tumultuous, surging sea of molten rock.
From the direction of the Water Spirit King City came distant cries of panic and clanging alarms, but in the face of this vast catastrophe they were no more than insignificant ripples.
With each stride of the towering Giant and the shockwaves and scalding fumes that followed, a turbid, blood-red sea of magma surged outward from the shattered valley, irresistibly engulfing half of the outer Defense works of the royal city and vast tracts of forest.
Queen Hill stood upon the highest observatory of the palace, witnessing it all; Her beautiful features were filled with pain and fury.
"No... we absolutely cannot allow Him to destroy our homeland!" She clenched Her fists, azure Mana condensing into a sturdy Shield around Her, yet She knew full well that this foe’s strength surpassed any threat they had faced before.
Reina gripped Her Magic Staff nervously, Her brows knitted as She continuously analyzed the enemy’s transformation.
"Your Majesty, this change means the Flame Demon has mastered using the parasitic Gene of Chaos to evolve himself. We must find a way to counter it quickly, or the Crystal Shield will not hold for long."
Erin sat cross-legged at the center of the palace Barrier of Energy, fingers flicking across the Frost Rune Array in hopes of reinforcing the outer wards; but She felt the Frost Energy gradually dissipating, evaporated and battered by the surrounding scorching heat.
"With every passing second, the loss of our Defense brings us one step closer to peril."
On the Marble Square, the Rainbow Core Crystal still shone with seven-colored light, but fine cracks had begun to spread across its surface. The Energy Waves grew ever more chaotic and unstable, as though straining under Limitless pressure and about to shatter.
In this life-and-death instant, every chain of Runes seemed to struggle and cry for help, yet was powerless to resist the corrosive force spreading from within, sinking deep to the very marrow.
The Guards’ captains hastily marshaled their Defense. They swung their Longswords and raised their Magic Staffs, meeting the Flame Demon soldiers in burning armor with a will of unyielding steel and fire.
Yet before that towering humanoid Giant Beast, blazing with scorching brilliance and piercing the clouds, all their combat arts seemed pale and feeble. They could only fight to the death to delay time, to seize a few precious seconds for evacuation.
