Hera, missing for years, is found alive within an extra-dimensional study created by Sauron, filled with countless books. While recovering, she observes the outside world, choosing to remain hidden to strategize against other civilizations. Her peace is shattered by the arrival of the Fallen Star Lord, who attacks her. Hera defends herself using the study's power and immobilizes the intruder. She discovers the Fallen Star Lord possesses Sauron's 'Star Fragment', a crucial item. A projection of Sauron appears, hinting at his demise and the Fallen Star Lord's role as a contingency. Hera decides to aid the projection against the Fallen Star Lord, unleashing her power to age the attacker rapidly.

A rustling sound emanated as it finally settled within the consciousness of the Fallen Star Lord. Appendages, like limbs, extended from the slate, making contact with the Demon Soul.

Simultaneously.

A synthesized, chilling voice emerged from both the slate and the Fallen Star Lord.

As if delivering a prophecy of great import.

[Sauron Two intelligent program activated.]

[Welcome to the system.]

Hera's eyes held a hint of bewilderment.

Despite her supreme realm allowing her to effortlessly comprehend any language across the Multidimensional Plane, the fallen star lord's words remained incomprehensible.

This peculiar situation pointed to only one logical conclusion:

The language spoken did not belong to this particular universe.

"Father was truly an outsider, after all."

"This device is also intended for use by outsiders."

"Levi..."

Hera whispered to herself.

As Sauron's intended successor.

This anomaly, this being that defied all known categories and surpassed all monstrous classifications, was also an outsider.

The Fallen Star Lord's voice, now mechanical, echoed:

[Annihilate the astral world! Annihilate the astral world! Annihilate the astral world!]

Hera inquired:

"Who are you? I am Hera. Are you Sauron?"

Upon hearing Hera's name, the Fallen Star Lord's demeanor shifted, returning to a semblance of normalcy.

[I am Sauron Two.]

"And who was Sauron Number One?"

This question left the Fallen Star Lord momentarily stumped.

It was aware of its designation as Number Two, but the identity of Number One remained unknown.

[Unable to answer.]

Hera adjusted her line of questioning:

"Were you created as a replica by Sauron?"

[Affirmative.]

A flicker of doubt crossed Hera's face.

She questioned whether her father, at his level of power, would create such a rudimentary duplication.

However, a subsequent thought occurred to her.

Given the chaotic nature of the Abyss Demon, creating an overly complex duplication might increase the risk of malfunction or betrayal over time, especially after Sauron's demise.

A simpler program, akin to artificial foolishness, would be more prudent.

After all, Sauron's sole objective in fabricating this duplication was singular.

The eradication of the astral world.

It was highly probable that this unthinking duplicate would also be dismantled upon the mission's successful completion.

This reasoning seemed to align perfectly.

Hera proceeded to ask a few more questions.

Eventually, returning to her seat, the Fallen Star Lord remained standing, lost in thought.

"Father will truly never return now..."

A sense of disappointment settled within Hera.

Sauron was undeniably gone.

No matter the measures he left behind, the unalterable truth remained.

In a fundamental sense, she had lost her father.

Hera spoke:

"You should rest now as well."

The Fallen Star Lord retreated to a corner, settling down and curling up with its knees drawn to its chest in front of a bookshelf.

Its directive was to obliterate the astral world.

Having been manipulated into becoming a mere automaton, a mechanical puppet.

It lacked true intelligence and, consequently, the capacity for cultivation.

"It's good to have company. We can leave together when the time comes."

Hera murmured to herself, her attention returning to the book in her hands.

...

Time slipped away rapidly.

Year 4120 of the Nora Calendar.

Following a series of strategic implementations, the Nightmare World was brought under complete subjugation. All original Monarchs and Overlords were integrated as qualified Upper and Lower Members into the Nightmare Council.

A three-tiered administrative structure, comprising states, counties, and cities, began its widespread implementation.

Nora and the Underworld's efforts in developing the Nightmare World proceeded with increasing smoothness.

All matters were progressing according to plan.

After extensive deliberation, leveraging the formidable power of the Mother River, numerous Supremes took decisive action. They shattered the Treasure of the Blood and Flesh Palace, a construct forged from the remains of countless formidable experts and an abundance of Primordial Relics.

While Primordial Treasures represented immense combat potential.

They were ultimately external implements.

It was far more beneficial for the Supreme experts to refine them directly, enhancing their personal power. Furthermore, this dismantling would unleash a vast reservoir of resources, enabling Level 9 Experts to achieve ascension to Level 10.

This constituted a tangible and substantial advancement.

Civilization, however, still confronted the existential threats posed by the Abyss and the astral world.

Although Nora currently held a tactical advantage, it was not sufficiently decisive.

The next critical objective was to broaden this advantage, leaving both adversaries behind and seizing the initiative in the ongoing conflict. This meant actively launching expeditions into the astral world and the Abyss.

Rather than remaining perpetually on the defensive!

In the climactic battle that led to the Nightmare's final subjugation, aside from the demise of a few Nightmare Monarchs, neither Nora nor the Underworld sustained any losses. In contrast, the Abyss suffered the loss of the Fallen Star Lord.

This Supreme being, much like Hera, had vanished without a trace.

All factions were still engaged in efforts to locate them.

Furthermore, intelligence obtained from the astral world's frontline indicated:

The Abyss Will and a Chaotic Servant had pursued Kars into the astral world. The colossal entities representing the two factions engaged in a titanic clash within the Sea of Ruins, sending shockwaves throughout the Multidimensional Plane.

Seizing this opportune moment, Kars managed to escape.

The enraged roar of the Abyss Will reverberated across the Multidimensional Plane.

Reluctant to engage in a fight to the death with the Star Ancestor at that particular juncture, it swiftly retreated from the astral world. The Chaotic Servant, sustaining injuries in the process, narrowly avoided a catastrophic power level drop below the Middle Stage of Level 11.

Within the Star Ancestor's domain, a persistent insect infestation remained. This led to a forced pursuit of the mother nest's directives.

The consequence was dire: in this decade alone, delayed by the Abyss, swarms of insects had consumed several deities, obliterated numerous Divine Kingdoms, and caused angels to fall in droves.

A new entity, the [Black Star Worm Queen], surged into prominence.

Its formidable power placed it among the top five existing insect queens.

Even a cultivator at the Four Emperor Level would need to approach it with extreme caution.

Furthermore, the Black Star Worm Queen possessed the ability to unleash divine power toxins that permeated the Sea of Ruins. These contagions spread like wildfire, driving affected angels into madness and initiating their transformation into insects.

Wrathful, the Star Ancestor personally embarked on a hunt for the Black Star Worm Queen.

This led to a direct confrontation with the mother nest's will, engaging in relentless battle.

Across the entire world, the landscapes of Nora radiated a singular, breathtaking beauty.

...

On a particular day.

The Chaos Emperor made his return to Nora.

The Tower of Heaven.

His pure white wizard robe billowed dramatically in the powerful wind.

Emmons, the Heavenly Will, Charactus, and other esteemed elders expressed immense joy.

Four millennia had elapsed since the dawn of the Nora Era.

Innumerable lives and legends within Nora had risen and fallen over this vast span of time.

Following a protracted and arduous confrontation, Nora had finally triumphed over the seemingly invincible Nightmare World. The most effective method to vanquish fear is, indeed, to confront it head-on!

When you face the Nightmare, you must break through the obscuring mists.

You will discover that, beneath the crushing might, it is merely an illusion!

Presently, the Nightmare Council boasts a membership of 520 individuals!

A new Nightmare regime would continue to hold sway over this land.

The only entities to vanish were the Supreme Will and the Master of Horror.

Their subservient Monarchs, despite any lingering reluctance, felt a profound sense of fortune in that moment.

They retained their high-ranking positions and enjoyed prolonged lifespans. While their freedom was curtailed compared to before, it was a far better fate than fading into obscurity, struggling fruitlessly, only to meet their demise.

Fueled by Nora's growing influence and grand aspirations.

One day, the realm would undoubtedly set its sights on the astral world and the Abyss. To follow the Chaos Emperor in achieving the monumental feats previously unattainable by the Four Giant Heads would be a source of immense satisfaction.

All of Nora's various Clans eagerly watched before the projection screen.

The preceding four thousand years seemed almost dreamlike.

Yet, this was the actual history that had unfolded.

Within the depicted scene, the Grand Council Chairman had countless sentiments to convey.

However, in the end, he simply raised his fist towards the heavens, his voice booming with a triumphant cry:

"We have emerged victorious!"

With profound, heartfelt elation, the Heavenly Will captured the moment in writing.

[Nora Calendar Year 4120: The Nightmare threat is extinguished, and the world is divided into three parts.

"Nora Epic: Volume Five - The Nightmare Invasion"]

"Nora!"

"Emperor!"

The surging cheers coalesced into an earth-shattering roar that echoed the sentiments of all living beings.

The entirety of Nora's territory erupted in celebration for three consecutive days.

...

Concurrently.

Within the vast river of time, a solitary castle remained suspended in quietude.

The Time Dragon, having witnessed the complete demise of the Nightmare Will, meticulously documented every event on the timeline from an objective, observational standpoint, experiencing a shared sense of emotion internally.

"Truly beyond expectation."

"The conclusion, as it turns out, possesses the capacity for alteration."

"Or perhaps... in this existence, there was never a predetermined destiny to begin with."
