Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 3143: 647: Dividing the Supreme
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
A phantom figure materialized; it was Herman.
"Heavenly Net has detected a minor-scale demonic catastrophe unfolding in the New World."
Emmon inquired:
"Are there any Level 10 Demons involved?"
"None have been identified thus far."
"Then this could be remnants of past factions, or perhaps others from the Blood Battle Battlefield attempting to exploit the chaos. Initiate Level 1 alert; maintain vigilance against the Abyss and the astral realm."
"Understood."
The Heavenly Will voiced its concern:
"Can the Grand Council Chairman truly withstand the Master of Horror? Furthermore, he is now descending upon the Nightmare World in his true form, intending to unleash his full might... This is extraordinarily perilous."
Emmon let out a faint sigh and declared:
"Given the circumstances, our only recourse is to place our trust in Levi.
Our duty remains safeguarding Nora."
...
Time continued its ceaseless march.
The protracted conflict appeared to have no foreseeable conclusion.
Nora Calendar, Year 4112.
Nightmare Battlefield.
Two colossal, resplendent palaces engaged in a violent collision.
The Blood and Flesh Palace shuddered, its stone pillars fracturing as blood seeped forth, exposing the myriad bones embedded within, each possessing Level 10 power.
The Netherworld Ancestor Hall also sustained damage.
These treasures were meticulously crafted from the corpses of various indescribable monstrous entities.
In terms of Primordial Treasures, the two supreme forces appeared to be on equal footing.
However, concerning their individual strength, the disparity was becoming increasingly apparent.
The Nightmare Will, repeatedly battered and bruised, had undeniably fallen from its peak, clinging to existence by burning its origin power and inwardly cursing:
"Curse this Abyss! Why do they remain inactive?
This presents the most opportune moment to neutralize the Mother River!"
The Abyss Will demonstrated excessive patience, observing the unfolding battle from a considerable distance.
The formidable Mother River encircled the Nightmare Will.
Supreme Level Death Energy relentlessly eroded the surrounding Nightmare Power.
Meanwhile, on a separate front.
A forest of blood and flesh, conjured with a mere flick of the Master of Horror's wrist, served to shield the black-armored swordsman.
"Even diminished, you are no match for my true self."
Seizing the fleeting opportunity, the Master of Horror sought to break free from Levi's grasp and penetrate the Nightmare World.
In the ensuing moment, he found his form inexplicably reversing, as if billions of Elemental Magnetism forces had coalesced into a colossal hand, forcefully rewinding time.
Even a supreme being could not escape this power.
"Reversing space-time?"
This particular technique was familiar to him.
Yet, against a peer, its effectiveness was minimal.
What in the blazes!
Everything within a million-mile radius was reset to five minutes prior.
At this juncture, the blood and flesh forest had yet to manifest.
Adversity fosters wisdom.
Now aware of the opponent's capabilities, Levi promptly devised a counter-strategy.
Conversely, the Master of Horror found himself cornered even further.
As the supreme beings clashed ferociously, the Nightmare remnants were systematically eliminated by Levi's hundred-strong elite guard; with only eighty now stubbornly resisting, one side was prepared and at full strength, while the other was exhausted and depleted, ensuring Nora's inevitable victory at the Level-10 tier.
The sole unpredictable element remained the Abyss.
However, Levi had anticipated this possibility.
Should the Abyss dare to invade.
Then, all of Nora's forces would be deployed within the Nightmare World.
All combatants would engage in defensive maneuvers against the Abyss from within the Nightmare World.
Nora's forces existed as duplicates, capable of resurrection in reality even if felled.
Conversely, the Abyss could only mount a full-scale invasion with its true form.
Perishing in the Nightmare World meant complete annihilation.
A fundamental disparity existed between the two sides.
The Mother River prevented the Nightmare Will from entering the Nightmare World, as Levi harbored concerns that the original inhabitant's regaining control over its own body might trigger unforeseen alterations.
Thus, considering all perspectives.
If Levi were the leader of the Abyss.
He would refrain from engaging Nora in warfare within the Nightmare World.
Instead, he would proceed directly to Nora World for direct confrontation.
The Abyss Will was not acting with foolishness.
This expedition into the Nightmare World was likely intended to seize a portion of the spoils.
Rather than pursuing a conclusive battle with Nora here.
...
As anticipated.
Three years elapsed.
With the Nightmare Will further weakened.
An overwhelming aura erupted towards the heavens.
A colossal city, exuding the fragrance of antiquity and constructed from piled corpses, descended.
Emerging from the Chaotic City, the Abyss Will boldly made its move.
It had been awaiting this precise moment.
Its target, naturally, was the weakest of the three: the Nightmare Will.
Dense as ink, coalescing into a vast ocean, demonic aura surged skyward.
Abyss Realm Worms sought refuge within this sea of demonic aura, advancing towards the battlefield. Their mouthparts opened into abyssal maws, sinking into the Nightmare Will's back.
A chilling gnawing sound reverberated.
The battles between supreme wills were indeed primitive and brutal.
"Abyss! You are not confronting your ancient adversary, the Mother River, yet you target me?!"
The Nightmare Will expressed utter disbelief, its shock palpable.
The devouring Abyss Will displayed complete indifference.
Even before the Nightmare Will's final demise, the Abyss acted like a hyena, gnawing at its rear.
Devouring it alive!
"Madman, you lunatic!" Trapped between a wolf in front and tigers behind, Nightmare Will had never experienced such dire straits. It struggled fiercely, consuming its entire origin. "Let me go! I will leave this place and never return!" The Nightmare Will was teetering on the edge of insanity. The primal survival instinct of life compelled it to beg. These Primordial Spirits were, in essence, wild beasts. Top-tier ferocious beings. The Mother River certainly did not wish for Nightmare Will to be devoured by the Abyss. This was the culmination of the Underworld's and Nora's efforts. Within the Death Spring Eye, death energy continuously poured into the void. The Mother River, which had previously held back some of its power, now unleashed everything. Its aura amplified, initiating a fierce tug-of-war against the Abyss. Severely wounded, Nightmare Will could no longer sustain its strength. Its realm finally collapsed. Like a breached dam, a torrent of Nightmare Power surged from its body, absorbed by the Nightmare World. Silent screams reverberated across the heavens and earth. This was the unmistakable sign of a supreme will on the brink of extinction. First battling the Mother River, then besieged by the Abyss. Furthermore, the Nightmare World had been conquered, with millions of its inhabitants either perishing or surrendering.
