After twenty years, Gatling's attempt to reach the legendary path failed. As Nora's power grew, reaching 31 legendary wizards and 97 level-10 powerhouses, the Master of Horror returned seeking destruction. The Underworld Source River intervened to prevent his return to the Nightmare World, initiating a universe-spanning war. Levi, now powerful enough to challenge the Master of Horror, confronted him within the Nightmare World.

Surpassing Level 9 and even Level 10 in reverse was understandable, a phenomenon noted throughout history.

This was especially true given the existence of lesser gods that diluted the threshold for Level 10.

However, reversing the supreme level was an act that defied all logic.

Throughout all of time, only a select few supreme beings had ever existed.

Such an event had never transpired before.

Wizard Levi and the knight's path both exerted their full strength.

The Bloodbath effect was once again activated.

Perfected spiritual force began to surge uncontrollably.

Soon, it surpassed Emmon.

The Pure White Witch transformed into a colossal being, stretching millions of miles high, encircled by Divine Dragons manifested from nine grand innate spells, poised to be unleashed according to the unfolding battle.

The Hand of the Universe struck out from every conceivable direction.

It was a spectacle akin to thousands of Buddhas paying homage, a truly magnificent and awe-inspiring sight.

"Where is that woman, the Netherworld Ancestor? Where is she hiding? Come out and face me."

The Master of Horror intercepted Levi's assault.

Its primary concern remained the Netherworld Ancestor.

Currently, her realm was only in the Early Stage.

If she were to join the fray, Nightmare would stand no chance of victory.

Levi responded:

"There is no need to trouble the Netherworld Ancestor to kill you!"

Recently, the Netherworld Ancestor had made significant advancements and was currently in seclusion.

She would soon emerge from her retreat.

If her seclusion proved successful, her strength could potentially approach the Late Stage Realm infinitely.

At that point, in unison with the Mother River, they would decisively slay the Nightmare Will.

As for any remaining scattered forces, they could either be eradicated or absorbed, posing no further threat.

Before the Netherworld Ancestor's emergence, they could count on three supreme combatants.

If only Hera were still present.

The Master of Horror let out a sneer:

"It appears the Netherworld Ancestor is preoccupied."

Could there be an opportunity for Nightmare to turn the tide of this battle?

A faint flicker of hope ignited within the Master of Horror.

On another front.

The Nightmare Will, upon its arrival, immolated itself, adopting a desperate and self-sacrificing stance.

Currently, its power was insufficient to match the Mother River.

It could only manage a precarious balance through this extreme measure.

However, the Mother River advanced with relentless steadiness, countering force with yielding resilience.

No matter the ferocity of the opponent's onslaught, the Mother River absorbed it all, weaving a net from the Heavenly Net, thereby preventing the Nightmare Will from infiltrating the Nightmare World.

Naturally.

The Mother River harbored its own anxieties.

Up to this point, the demon had yet to make an appearance.

Given the passage of time, it was highly probable that the Abyss had already drawn near the Nightmare World.

The Mother River's concerns were not without merit.

In the distant expanse of the Red-Black world.

Within the oppressive darkness of the void, the Abyss Realm Worm pressed onward.

The Abyss Full Realm had fought its way to encircle the Nightmare World.

Upon Chaos City, the Abyss Will and two other supreme beings stood imposingly.

The Fallen Star Lord remained in silent contemplation.

Having only just ascended to the supreme level, it was immediately thrust into a monumental conflict.

As the Abyss's embodiment of ultimate wisdom, it perceived further into the future's ramifications.

Abyss Will inquired:

"Fallen Star, what is your current standing?"

The Fallen Star Lord responded:

"Reporting to you, Lord, I am unharmed."

"Very well, ensure you do not lose your way amidst the battle; take some time to rest first."

"Rest assured, Lord, I am fully aware of my capabilities and limitations."

"Hmm, do not end up like Hera, getting lost immediately after breaking through and becoming a source of ridicule."

News of Hera's defeat had spread across the Multidimensional Plane over the years.

She was believed to be the supreme being with the shortest lifespan in recorded history.

The Chaotic Servant cast a glance at the embattled Nightmare, asking:

"Lord, with Nightmare Will currently occupied by the Mother River, if we were to attack Nora, we might be able to charge in and seize control... Shall we dispatch our forces?"

Abyss Will stated:

"It is too late for that; advancing towards Nora involves an excessive number of unpredictable variables. Judging by the current situation, Nightmare Will cannot hold out much longer. If the Mother River manages to devour it, she will ascend to become the strongest entity in this cosmos, which would invariably disrupt my carefully laid plans."

Chaotic Servant remarked:

"It seems Nightmare Will intends to pit us against each other, like a tiger against a wolf, forcing us to fight."

Abyss Will responded:

"With the Chaos Emperor employing their nightmare tactics, engaging in combat within the Nightmare World would place both us and Nora at a significant disadvantage. Our objective in this battle is to absorb Nightmare Will and then withdraw promptly."

...

Above the desolate Sea of Ruins.

The Star Ancestor, accompanied by two severely weakened supreme beings, was in pursuit of the mother nest's will.

After enduring prolonged torment from the insectoid swarm, the astral gods had dwindled to a mere seven hundred and twenty individuals. Nevertheless, on the insect's side, ten of their queens had also perished.

However, the insects' reproductive rate was astonishingly rapid.

If they were not swiftly eradicated, they would inevitably recover their numbers.

The god responsible for Lower Realm intelligence transmitted a critical message:

"Lord! The Abyss, Nightmare, Underworld, and Nora are all currently converging near the Nightmare World, and that Chaos Emperor is actually capable of challenging the Master of Horror.

This individual must be eliminated, lest they bring about endless troubles in the future."

Upon receiving this intelligence, the Star Ancestor fell into deep contemplation.

"Apart from myself, every other significant power has entered the fray. This situation presents itself favorably."

"Once this insect disaster is put down, we shall use the opportune moment to capture them all."

...

The Underworld.

Bubbling ominously, the Death Spring emits a palpable aura of Death Energy.

Submerged within the pool, the Netherworld Ancestor steadily absorbed the surrounding aura, his power silently growing.

The fragmented slates belonging to the Lord of Disaster had been split equally between the Underworld and Nora. In her quest for rapid strength enhancement, she opted to refine the supreme power contained within.

This undertaking was not without its inherent risks.

The Power of Disaster and her own Power of Death originated from different sources.

Their fundamental divergence was immense, and she possessed incomplete comprehension of the Power of Disaster.

However, considering the present circumstances, her yearning to aid the Mother River and to single-handedly bring Sauron's ambitions to fruition necessitated this gamble. As an ancient entity residing in the Underworld, augmenting her strength proved exceedingly arduous.

In this particular regard, she was indeed at a disadvantage compared to the shorter-lived races.

This was especially true when encountering anomalies like Levi, who experienced rapid breakthroughs in realms post Level 10, a significant factor contributing to the slower proliferation of Nether Emperors relative to Nora.

This phenomenon was not confined to the Underworld; the other three major powers mirrored this situation.

While they appeared to possess numerous individuals at Level 10, this was the culmination of protracted accumulation over ages. Presently, only the insect race's evolutionary pace rivaled Nora's in this fierce competition.

"Nearly complete, Levi, hold on for me,"

The Netherworld Ancestor fixed his gaze upon the final slate fragment, a silent Pondering enveloping him.

...

Nora.

Within the Supreme Council, Emmon, Heavenly Will, and others stood poised for action.
