Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2781: 569: The Origins of the Abyss Across Nine Epochs!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi plots to hunt high-level demons in the Blood Battlefields to elevate his Blood Battle Spirit toward the tenth-level realm. Internal discord within the Council of Ten Thousand Clans leads to the defection of the Void Emperor, signaling the potential collapse of the enemy organization. Meanwhile, Levi oversees the birth of dragon eggs, discovering that one is the reincarnation of his former companion, Leviathan. To solidify his alliances and reward long-term service, Levi releases several powerful subordinates from their enslavement contracts, transitioning their loyalty from magical compulsion to voluntary oaths.

The high council of the Nora Congress, guided by Edmund, is currently in the process of forging this paramount treasure. Upon its completion, it will undoubtedly surpass the Dark Temple in quality. This artifact will eventually grant the citizens of Nora the ability to maintain seamless communication while traversing the vast distances of the Multidimensional Plane.

The Red King, however, remains in a unique predicament. As a result, it must persist in its current state for a while longer, awaiting a resolution from Levi.

...

The passage of two years followed.

It was now the year 1557 of the Nora Calendar.

During this year, Levi reached the age of 1980.

Beside the Small Stone Pond.

"Your two-thousandth birthday is approaching. Is there a specific birthday gift you desire?" Elena inquired. She was reclining in the pool’s waters, watching the sky with a relaxed expression.

"The choice is yours. Anything you prepare will be perfect." Levi’s response was flawlessly smooth, even as his mind weighed other matters.

"You certainly have a way with words," Elena replied, her smile playful.

Levi then drew her into the water. As they played like mandarin ducks within the Small Stone Pond and shared an intimate encounter, Levi’s intellect remained remarkably sharp.

After sending Elena back to focus on her Cultivation, he took advantage of this mental clarity to analyze his high-level spells from the Nightmare Series. This focused state allowed him to achieve twice the results with half the effort, reaching an incredible level of efficiency!

"Truly remarkable; Wise Time is indeed worthy of its reputation," Levi whispered to himself.

His gaze fell upon the sixth-circle spell known as "Dream Wedding."

This particular spell traps an adversary within a complex, woven illusion, pulling from their most cherished memories. It creates a duplicate of the opposite sex manifested from Nightmare Power, guiding the victim toward a matrimonial trap.

Once ensnared, they fall into a state of hopeless addiction, unable to break free until they perish. For warriors with pure hearts, this spell is a devastating blow. However, for others, the impact might be negligible. On the whole, Levi found the concept quite entertaining.

"Lord Hall Master, an emissary from the barbarians has arrived."

"Oh? Who might that be?"

"He identified himself as Man Kui."

...

Within the Emperor’s Palace.

A middle-aged man possessing thick eyebrows and a powerful physique took a sip of Heart-Cleansing Tea. After letting out a satisfied sigh, he spoke:

"This is excellent tea. I used to enjoy this back in the Ancient Tomb World."

Levi smiled and responded, "It is indeed sourced from the Ancient Tomb World. To what do I owe the honor of your visit, Lord Man Kui? Or should I say, the incarnation of Heavenly Will?"

The middle-aged man looked at him and asked, "How were you able to tell?"

"Within the entirety of the barbarian tribe, the only existence I find myself unable to fully perceive would be Heavenly Will, would it not?" Levi countered.

"I am no mere incarnation; I am Heavenly Will itself. In the ages of old, before I was known as the Barbarian Ancestor, my name was Kui," the man explained in a measured tone.

"From the ancient past until today... Tell me, senior, have you ascended to become a God?"

"In a manner of speaking, yes. However, I am not like those common deities of the astral world. In truth, those so-called gods are nothing more than frauds." A look of contempt flickered across his face, making his dislike for the astral world quite evident.

"Could you elaborate on that?"

"Are you aware of the astral world's origin? Do you have any concept of how many epochs our Multidimensional Plane has endured?"

"I lack that knowledge; I would value any enlightenment you could provide, senior."

Observing Levi’s genuine curiosity, the middle-aged man felt a surge of interest. Since his arrival in Nora, he had been impressed by the power of Edmund and startled by the sheer talent Levi displayed.

Suspecting that one of them might be linked to Sauron, he intended to build a rapport while subtly investigating. Having already gauged Edmund’s strength, he came to Levi to find answers to long-standing questions.

His vast lifespan had granted him immense knowledge and many sights. He was pleased by Levi’s current attitude, which tempted him to show off a little and shatter the common wizard stereotype that barbarians were merely muscle-bound and simple-minded.

Barbarians possessed culture as well!

Taking another sip of his tea, the man began to speak in a profound, enigmatic voice:

"Preceding the ancient times was the Ancient Era; before that was the Ming Ancient Era; prior to that was the Abyss Ancient Era; before that was the Dark Era; preceding that was the Primordial Era; and before even that, the Chaos Era existed. Beyond that, there may be a void, or perhaps something we cannot comprehend—each earlier epoch lasted significantly longer than the one that followed, to the point where no one can truly measure the duration of those early ages.

Chaos, Primordial, Dark, Abyss, Ming Ancient, Ancient, Near Ancient... these represent the nine Chapters of the Age History Book. I consider myself an ancient relic, yet I have only existed through the most recent and shortest three Chapters.

Even with my knowledge, I know very little of the Chaos Era. I suspect that life did not exist then; the universe was perhaps like an unopened egg or a single point of density, devoid of the concepts of space and time, where everything was simply nothingness.

When that egg finally hatched, certain entities were born, marking the start of the Primordial Era. This was the moment conscious beings first appeared.

By our modern standards, they might not even qualify as life forms. They were unconventional entities that I refer to as Primordial Spirits.

That era was incredibly harsh. The elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water were in total chaos, space-time was fluid, and the laws of reality were unfinished. The majority of Primordial Spirits failed to survive, fading away over the eons.

Some transformed into eternal cosmic wonders, while others might be what your kind refers to as a Truth Oddity... I have stumbled upon remnants of their passing during my long travels.

A few, however, managed to endure.

Following that, a profound darkness enveloped our universe, ushering in the Dark Era, which saw the birth of the Land of Darkness."
