Rein relentlessly battles the Fiend Demon, pushing it back and severing its limbs as he depletes its energy. Meanwhile, within the Floating City, a sudden vibration alerts Haleem and Moria that the Fiend Demon has escaped its containment in the basement.

Neither of them had anticipated this development. Their initial expectation was that if any unusual event transpired, it would involve the Fiend Demon breaching its seal and engaging them within the Floating City. However, the current reality is that the Fiend Demon has actually departed?

This is indeed perplexing.

Haleem immediately activated the endoscope for an inspection, while Moria swiftly utilized the porthole to track the direction of the malevolent Qi.

"An unforeseen event has occurred! The Fiend Demon has genuinely broken free!"

Haleem appeared somewhat bewildered. He had, only shortly before, questioned whether Lord Rein might be overly cautious. Yet, the present circumstances strongly suggested that Lord Rein's foresight from the Steel Throne had been remarkably accurate.

"This is not good, Crown Prince Haleem, the Fiend Demon's flight path appears to be heading directly towards the Imperial City!"

Moria's gaze remained fixed on the vast expanse of dark gray Evil Qi swiftly receding outside the porthole, his face turning ashen as he cried out.

"Blast it all! Could there be some form of connection or lingering sense between the Fiend Demons, even when separated by such distances?"

"Quickly! Inform Lord Rein on the Steel Throne immediately! Inform Prince Menia at once!"

Haleem urgently commanded.

...

Meanwhile.

Above Tamriel Imperial City.

Menia had just launched a searing Flame Strike, repelling a Griffin Knight corrupted by evil. Her beautiful eyes then turned towards Rein, who was currently engaged in suppressing the Fiend Demon in battle, a sense of reassurance washing over her.

"Excellent! While the Fiend Demon cannot be permanently eradicated, Rein's ability to fully contain them ensures that victory in this conflict is virtually guaranteed."

However, at this precise moment, the communication emblem adorning her crimson Wizard Robe began to flash erratically.

With a gesture from Menia's slender hand, an anxious female voice urgently conveyed:

"Prince Menia, urgent dispatch from the Floating City: the Fiend Demon from the lowest seal has broken its confinement and is now rapidly advancing towards Tamriel Imperial City!"

"What!" For the first time since the battle commenced, Menia's dignified and graceful countenance faltered!

"Why haven't you informed Rein on the Throne!"

"We have tried, but Rein on the Throne does not seem to be responding!"

Naturally, immersed in such a fierce engagement, Rein would find it exceedingly difficult to divert his attention for a communication of potentially uncertain importance.

"This is dire! I must inform Rein of this development immediately," Menia thought to herself.

But before she could relay the message, a colossal mass of dark gray mist materialized in the sky, approaching with astonishing speed.

The ominous mist executed a swift, cunning maneuver, launching a surprise assault from behind Rein!

"Rein, watch out!" Menia shrieked!

Rein's mind was simultaneously assaulted by a cacophony of alarms. Instantly activating his 'Shadow Shifting' ability, he phased to another position in mid-air.

Concurrently, the valiant Goddess Matilda, clad in classical battle armor and sporting a Cock Crown Mask Helmet, materialized precisely where Rein had been moments before. She fiercely unleashed a dazzling spear of blue energy towards the newly appeared surge of Evil Qi!

"Go!"

Despite not having received direct communication from Rein, Goddess Matilda resolved to intervene at this critical juncture.

After all, the entire situation had undergone a drastic and perilous transformation!

The appearance of a second Fiend Demon presented a grave threat to her ally, Rein.

"Two Fiend Demons?!"

"It's the one from the Floating City," Rein observed with narrowed eyes, a sense of dread descending upon him!

The absolute worst-case scenario had materialized.

He had exerted considerable effort to preclude any encounter between the two Fiend Demons.

He had even made the deliberate choice to station the Floating City far away on the Shirendil Plateau, intending not to utilize it during the ongoing battle.

However, even the best-laid plans were proving inadequate against the unpredictable turn of events, and the situation had spiraled beyond his complete control into its most unfavorable state.
