Rein debated the nature of a potential Evil God projection with Pantoscoke, confidently asserting his ability to defeat it despite the latter's doubts. Pantoscoke challenged him to a match at the Empire Royal Arena in a week, and Rein accepted with high stakes: victory would grant him the Drum Family's thirty percent shares in the Axon Auction House. As Pantoscoke and Army Marshal Mayer departed, Elder Ivan sighed at the escalating tension among Empire colleagues. Late at night, Moria, Bradley, and Mogaro celebrated their school's impending promotion, only to be stunned by Audrey's urgent message from Rein, summoning them to the Shirendil Plateau with the 'Destroyer' Demon Statue and news of the Isodre School's alliance under a new Mechanical Association.

Once Audrey had departed, Moria took a moment to process the information before glancing at the pair with a confused look on his face: "Uh... Bradley, Mogaro, did our school ever set up a... Mechanical Association?"

"Uh... I don't think so, probably?" Bradley paused briefly and responded with some doubt.

"Absolutely not." Mogaro denied it firmly while shaking his head.

"Looks like Lord Rein has pulled off something astonishing yet again. From what I've heard, that Stuttgart fellow from the Isodre School isn't someone to underestimate, so I'm curious how Lord Rein convinced him." Moria shook his head thoughtfully, filled with admiration.

"What about... the Empire Mechanized Association?" Moria's expression turned to one of deep yearning.

An organization starting with 'Empire'... Ever since he took over as Sect Leader of the Bixiu Mechanization School, he hadn't even dared to imagine creating something like that...

"Sect Leader, since Rein extended the invitation to us, why not head to the Shirendil Plateau and uncover all the details ourselves? No point in speculating wildly here." Mogaro suggested eagerly.

"Right! Let's go! Everyone together!" Moria agreed without hesitation.

"Oh, and Mogaro, get someone to mount the newly fixed 'Destroyer' on the airship."

The trio acted quickly, and that very evening, the Bixiu Mechanization School sent an airship soaring toward Nirheim on the Shirendil Plateau.

...

Shirendil Plateau.

Within the airship's cabin hovering over the Isodre School Station.

With the school suffering heavy destruction, the gathering had to take place aboard the airship.

After a few Wizards from the Isodre School described the incidents, Elder Ivan and Marshal Alfred grasped the essentials of what happened.

"Elder Ivan, I apologize for making you travel so far." Rein said with a touch of regret.

"Lord Rein, if my journey lets me see a cult plot get crushed, I'd dash across the entire Empire without complaint." Elder Ivan replied in a lighthearted, joking manner.

His comment sparked laughter from all those in attendance.

"Incidentally, Lord Rein, do you require any assistance from us prior to our return?"

"I'm intending to form a Mechanical Association, welcoming all who wish to explore building mechanical creatures. For starters, I aim to employ these mechanical beings to combat the exotic spider horde that's spreading wildly over the Shirendil Plateau."

"Hmm? That's a brilliant notion." Elder Ivan's slender eyes flashed with keen interest.

Against the spider horde burrowed deep underground, connected through tunnels and scattered widely, even he lacked effective countermeasures. Though a Giant Dragon boasts immense fighting power, it seems rather helpless in such battles.

Rein’s method appeared very promising.

"Additionally, Sir Marshal, I'd like to officially create a Sword Bearers Branch right here on the Shirendil Plateau. I feel that the more remote the Empire's frontiers, the greater the need to bolster our oversight."

"Naturally, I know we're short on staff at the moment, yet we can begin building the structure. I've got a couple of old comrades from Mingster Province with solid skills..."

...

During the discussion, Elder Ivan and Marshal Alfred approved Rein’s pair of proposals.

The following day at midday, the Elder Council airship departed anew, heading back to the Empire to debate and plan against the danger from the Evil God Nael Breccan.

Not long afterward.

As Moria and his group reached the Isodre School Station after traveling through the night, they were stunned first by the devastation resembling a meteor shower's aftermath, and then guided courteously to the underground Mechanical Assembly Hall.

Witnessing the polite Wizards of the Isodre School, both Moria and Bradley swelled with pride and excitement.

Right then, Rein stood waiting alongside two senior Wizards from the Isodre School.

"Mentor, Sect Leader," Rein greeted them with a smile and a small bow of his head.

Rein had no plans to invest much effort into the Mechanical Association, so he had contacted the school to bring in Moria.

As Sect Leader of the Bixiu Mechanization School and a skilled Mechanical Master, he brought ample expertise and skill to manage it effectively.

Following some initial pleasantries, Rein announced, "Now that we're all here, allow me to outline the circumstances briefly..."

"I hold secrets from the Ancient Goblin Empire, where their advances in mechanical inventions surpass our own. I think we can draw tremendous value from their successes..."

As he spoke, Rein also revealed some basic insights into Goblin Engineering.

At the same time, he put it into action right away. Boosted by spiritual power reaching Dawn Wizard level, exceptional affinity for super metal elements, and the Metal Morphing Spell, within merely fifteen minutes, a mechanical land bird towering over three meters materialized in front of them.

Naturally, the quick pace owed much to the Isodre School's ample reserves of small energy furnaces, which streamlined Rein’s crafting steps.

"Swish!"

The mechanical land bird's powerful beak strike promptly tore a huge gap in a nearby ironwood dummy, while its robust legs, powered by hydraulics, crushed yet another ironwood dummy to splinters in an instant.

This display shocked the two elder wizards at Crystalization Peak from the Isodre School to their core!

"Rei... Rein, Your Crown, when it comes to mechanical constructs, if you say you're number two in the Empire, nobody would dare call themselves number one." The bearded elder was so shocked that he almost yanked out half his cherished beard.
