The protagonist received a call about a shipment, but the cargo, a turtle, had broken out of containment. A maintenance ship arrived to pick up the creature, and the buyer was shocked to learn the protagonist had survived an encounter with the "Walking Disaster." The protagonist, however, found the turtle docile and easily controlled with commands.

The portly individual’s gaze flickered between the turtle, myself, and then back to the turtle, before settling on me once more.

After repeating this action a few times, he lifted a finger, stating, "I need to make a call."

I observed as he moved a short distance away, retrieving his personal terminal to initiate a call.

Turning back to the girls, I noticed they all wore the same knowing smirk, as if to say, 'We told you so.'

Hey! All of you witnessed the turtle's reaction the first time we encountered it!! We all operated under the same assumption that the turtle wouldn't listen to me either!! Don't act like you knew this all along!!

My attention returned to the turtle, which was now attentively looking at me.

I hadn't fully registered it earlier, but compared to when we first saw it, its eyes, which were somewhat clouded, now appeared clear and full of life.

I approached it, extending my hand to attempt a pat on its head.

Previously, it would have undoubtedly lunged at me if I got too close, but now... It simply lowered its head, allowing the gentle touch.

So adorable.

I continued patting it until I heard the fat guy speaking from behind me.

"Boss... It's me... Yes... No, they're here. They weren't lying... Yes... It's hard to believe, but please take a look..."

The man then turned, allowing whoever he was speaking to see me petting the turtle.

I wasn't entirely sure if they wanted to witness this display, but I figured he was calling his superior to demonstrate my ability to command the turtle.

An awkward silence ensued for a moment before the man turned back to his screen.

"Yes... I don't understand either... Umm... I can try."

He turned back to me, asking, "Could you... tell it to do something again?"

Err... What exactly do you want me to say?

I looked back at the turtle and asked, "Can you stand up for me?"

The turtle obediently pushed itself up onto its feet.

Good boy~ More head pats for you.

Another pause followed in their conversation, and it seemed the boss was giving instructions, as the man nodded along without speaking.

Another minute passed before he finally spoke, "You... Smuggler... My boss wishes to meet you. Get that thing onto my ship, and I'll escort you to meet him."

I glanced at my crew, who displayed a range of reactions.

At this point, I remained uncertain if Kaito had misled me about the client for this turtle, so... I might as well proceed and see what unfolds.

And if the client is indeed that woman Yuki, I can also hear her perspective and make my own decision.

I nodded at the man, "Can my crew accompany me?"

After a brief pause, he replied, "You may bring two individuals with you."

I was genuinely surprised by this affirmative response.

After a moment's consideration, I pointed to Amber and Lea, indicating they would join me.

Amber would provide combat support if we needed to fight our way out, and Lea would serve as backup and our eyes, offering tactical awareness.

The remaining members would stay behind to safeguard the ship against any potential attacks, whether from our client or Kaito.

Both Amber and Lea were already equipped, so no additional preparation was needed as we prepared to board the man's vessel.

As for the turtle... Now that I knew it would obey me, all I had to do was instruct it to follow, and it did so obediently, lumbering slowly across the cargo bay towards the man's ship.

There was just enough space within the ship for the turtle to lie down and for us to stand nearby as the man piloted us towards another section of the Pleasure Station.

While I was comfortable near the turtle, I noticed Lea and Amber appeared quite uneasy, attempting to maintain as much distance as possible from the creature.

Well... I understood their apprehension, so I remained silent and positioned myself between the turtle and my girls, offering reassurance that everything was fine.

The ship eventually entered a hangar bay, its location suggesting it wasn't for public use, and landed on one of the designated pads.

The boarding ramp extended downwards, and the portly man cautiously moved towards the exit, keeping a significant distance from the turtle, which, for reasons unknown, kept its eyes fixed on him.

Please tell me the turtle isn't fixated on him because it perceives him as a large meal...

Upon disembarking, we encountered several armed guards clad in full-body combat armor, strikingly similar to those I had seen in Kaito’s office.

The only distinction was the purple coloration of their armor, as opposed to black.

Everyone had assembled before the ship, awaiting our arrival, suggesting they were specifically summoned to welcome us.

The colossal turtle followed closely behind us, and I noticed a palpable tension ripple through the crowd as they observed the lumbering behemoth.

The portly individual gestured towards me, issuing a stern command: "Await here. Do not make any sudden moves. I can offer no guarantees for your safety if you act foolishly."

Lea tilted her head, her voice laced with gentle inquiry, "Hmm... I don't mean to be impolite... But have you considered that this creature only heeds my Mistress's commands? The sole reason it isn't currently trampling you all is that Mistress instructed it to refrain. Is it truly wise to eliminate the only individual capable of keeping it in check?"

Left without a retort, the man chose silence and left us standing there.

Armored guards advanced, forming a perimeter around us, yet they maintained a cautious distance, clearly reluctant to approach the immense turtle.

Our wait was brief; the man soon returned, accompanied by a woman whose vibrant teal hair cascaded around her shoulders.

Her image immediately registered in my mind; Kaito had previously shown me pictures of this Yuki woman. And no, my recognition wasn't solely due to the fact that her chest seemed poised to burst free from her shirt, swaying provocatively with each step she took towards us.

Unlike the others who concealed their features, she displayed no hesitation in revealing her face.

"Boss... See for yourself..." the stout man said, gesturing in my direction.

The woman bypassed the armored guards with ease, stopping just an arm's length from me. Her hips were subtly canted, her hand resting on her waist in a pose that I suspected was a natural inclination rather than a deliberate affectation.

Her gaze swept over the turtle positioned behind me, the creature utterly disregarding everyone else, its attention fixed solely on me.

As if this confirmed her suspicions, her eyes turned to me. She scrutinized me from head to toe, as though assessing my worth.

"Name?" she inquired.

Before I could respond, Amber interjected, gesturing towards the masks obscuring our faces. "What purpose do these masks serve if you intend to discover our identities anyway?"

I resisted the urge to point out that they likely already knew who we were from scanning our vessel, wisely choosing to remain silent.

If Amber's retort offended her, the woman concealed it masterfully.

Instead, she nodded towards me and asked, "How adept are you at controlling it?"

I glanced back at the turtle, which tilted its head in my direction, as if awaiting instructions.

I gave its snout a gentle pat before replying, "Sufficiently, I believe. What concern is it of yours?"

"Then I may have a lucrative opportunity for you. Follow me. I will add a bonus to the agreed-upon fee for smuggling this into the station for me."

Hmm... Surely she doesn't intend for me to command the turtle to begin a rampage throughout the station... does she?
