We Agreed On Experiencing Life, So Why Did You Immortals Become Real? Chapter 647: Do You Even Know?

"And if we don't leave?"
Yu Yunwei gazed coldly at the woman before her.
"This concubine suspects all of you have little choice in the matter." Yan Ruxue shook her head gently, her tone remaining just as gentle as ever.
"What exactly do you Ascension realm cultivators want? Must you keep pursuing my senior brother relentlessly?!" Yu Yunwei said angrily.
"There are many things I cannot tell miss. In truth, it might be better for miss not to know at all." Yan Ruxue said calmly. "But one thing is certain, within the Ten Thousand Laws Realm, my husband is safer than anywhere else."
"Hmph! Utter nonsense!" Yu Yunwei gave a cold snort. "The moment senior brother returns to the Ten Thousand Dao Sect, he'll be at his safest. Who would dare come stir up trouble at my own Ten Thousand Dao Sect?"
"If miss doesn't believe me, there's nothing more I can do. I've already said what needed saying." To Yan Ruxue's mind, whether the other party believed her words or not mattered little. "But regardless, none of you will be taking my husband away."
"Then let's find out!"
Yu Yunwei leapt into the air, her immortal weapon, named Bloodmoon, already gripped in her hand.
A single strike, and blood-red blade-light tore through the heavens, slashing toward Yan Ruxue!
At the same time, Sili had no intention of waiting idle either.
Sili leapt into flight, chanting an incantation, thousands upon thousands of blossoms blooming within the air.
The blossoms burst apart, their petals condensing ceaselessly, at last forming sword after sword, suspended in midair.
"Fall!"
With a great sweep of Sili's hand, the flower-swords rained down like a torrential downpour, thrusting toward Yan Ruxue.
Facing both their assaults, Yan Ruxue remained perfectly composed, standing exactly where she was.
As though, no matter the moment, she remained forever this calm, this graceful.
As though nothing in this world could stir any strong emotion within this woman.
The next instant, a silver-white true dragon, condensed from the fortune of the dragon clan, materialized behind her.
The silver-white dragon bit down, shattering that streak of blood-red blade-light in a single bite and those flower-swords thrusting toward Yan Ruxue were entirely engulfed in frost.
With a single roar, the frozen flower-swords all shattered into fragments of ice, dissolving into the air.
"Go."
Yan Ruxue slowly raised her arm, her slender, jade-like finger pointing toward Yu Yunwei, not far off.
The silver-white dragon lunged once more toward Yu Yunwei.
Yu Yunwei, unable to dodge in time, could only raise her blade horizontally to block, blood-red blade-qi shielding her entire body.
"This woman really is troublesome!"
Yu Yunwei cursed inwardly, striking once more, severing the dragon before her but nearly instantly, another dragon, condensed from the dragon clan's fortune, lunged at Yu Yunwei once more.
Obscure patterns of Dao rose within Yu Yunwei's eyes.
This dragon's assault suddenly stalled, then, as though driven mad, began biting ceaselessly at its own body yet even so, in the final instant before it exploded apart, the dragon struck violently against Yu Yunwei's body.
Yu Yunwei fell from the sky like a meteor, crashing through the peaks of three mountains in succession.
Sili wanted to help, but the moment she took a single step forward, she found sharp shards of ice materializing all around her.
In an instant, the ice shards exploded outward, slicing toward Sili like blade fragments.
Startled, Sili flung out her long sleeves, wrapping them tightly around her own body.
The ice fragments tore through Sili's outstretched sleeves, strips of fabric fluttering down like snowflakes, but fortunately, Sili herself remained unharmed.
"Out of regard for Miss Sili's daily care of my husband, this concubine shall go easy on you."
With these words, Yan Ruxue pressed her delicate hand downward gently.
In an instant, that dragon condensed from clouds of white lunged down from the heavens once more.
Sili steadied her mind, raising her long legs beneath her skirt, kicking fiercely at the diving cloud-dragon.
The instant one dragon was scattered by the kick, two more dragons swooped in, biting fiercely at Sili's limbs.
"BOOM!"
With a thunderous crash, dust a hundred zhang high rose through the mountain forest, a peak snapped clean in half, countless fragments of rock tumbling down, burying Sili entirely.
Yan Ruxue withdrew her gaze, walking step by step toward Wangxin.
"Migu!"
Little Hundun positioned herself before Wangxin, baring her teeth at Yan Ruxue, roaring a furious threat.
Only, this small, fleshy creature was already rather adorable to begin with, and now looked more like she was simply being cute.
Yan Ruxue paid Hundun's threat no mind at all, drawing ever closer to Wangxin.
"Migu!"
Seeing that her threat held no effect whatsoever, Little Hundun flew straight at Yan Ruxue.
Her body expanded ceaselessly, eventually growing into an enormous sphere, a hundred zhang in diameter, radiating a fierce, crimson light from every part of her being.
Little Hundun's fleshy wings beat ceaselessly through the air, the fierce winds they stirred flattening swaths of mountain forest, one after another.
A primordial, wild aura coiled around Hundun, the pressure it radiated utterly terrifying and beyond her original four legs, Little Hundun grew two more, her claws scratching at the air, as though treading upon some invisible ground.
"An ancient Hundun being, blessed by the very creation of heaven and earth. Genuinely interesting." Yan Ruxue observed this enormous Hundun creature before her with evident interest. "And though Hundun is naturally malevolent by nature, this one manages to remain so good-hearted, which speaks well of Sister Wangxin's daily guidance."
"ROAR!"
Paying this woman's assessment no mind, Little Hundun opened her mouth wide, the very currents of air throughout heaven and earth pouring frantically into her maw.
Under this enormous suction, trees were torn up from their roots, countless rock fragments flew backward into the sky, all of it swallowed into Little Hundun's belly.
The dragon formed from white clouds above struggled ceaselessly, but in the end, it too was drawn into Hundun's body.
The fierce wind stirred Yan Ruxue's robes.
Her plain white gown clung tightly to her figure, tracing out a graceful, gentle curve, yet Yan Ruxue remained perfectly still, simply watching this Hundun beast quietly.
The next instant, Yan Ruxue extended a finger, tapping it gently against Hundun.
This seemingly ordinary gesture caused a sudden indentation to appear in Hundun's belly, as though struck by a single powerful punch.
Little Hundun felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, her body falling from the sky like a kickball, tumbling and bouncing ceaselessly through the towering mountains, flattening peak after peak.
"This concubine has always held Master Wangxin in the highest regard, and understands that Master Wangxin's nature is simple and innocent, and being deceived by others is only natural. But I hope Master Wangxin will not continue making the same mistake."
Yan Ruxue drifted down slowly, landing atop the mountain peak, walking step by step toward Wangxin.
"Sister Ruxue speaks so beautifully."
"But how does Sister Ruxue know they're the ones in the wrong, and how does Sister Ruxue know she herself is necessarily right?"
At that very moment, another woman's voice drifted from the horizon.
The moment the voice fell, Qin Siyao, dressed in palace robes, appeared standing between Yan Ruxue and Wangxin.
"So Miss Siyao is also involved in tonight's affairs, is she?" Yan Ruxue said with a smile, looking at Qin Siyao.
"Couldn't be helped." Qin Siyao let out a sigh, her tone carrying a note of helplessness. "Sister Ruxue is truly too formidable. Without gathering a few more helpers, how could I possibly stand against Sister Ruxue?"
"In truth, I'm not so formidable at all. I simply wish to protect one person, that's all."
Yan Ruxue smiled gently, her peach-blossom eyes reflecting a faint moonlight and even as Yan Ruxue spoke, the starry heavens shifted once more.
Under the influence of Yan Ruxue's dragon-majesty, every star's light grew ever more brilliant.
Streaks of starlight transformed into threads, connecting star after star together, as though drawing out a formation array.
"Go, all of you, quickly. Don't linger here."
Sensing danger, Qin Siyao turned her head, saying to Wangxin.
Wangxin hesitated a moment, but soon nodded, gathering Xiao Mo and Xue Kui into her arms, flying toward that void gateway.
At the same time, Yu Yunwei, Sili, and Hundun, too, rose from the ground, charging together into the void.
Yan Ruxue's slender, jade-like finger turned gently, and a great net woven of starlight descended upon the group but the golden dragon condensed from the fortune of mountains and rivers tore that net of stars apart entirely.
Yu Yunwei and the others entered the void once more.
The void gateway closed successfully, and Yan Ruxue did not pursue them, only glancing faintly to the side, “Do you truly intend to stop me?"
"I've already come this far. I can't leave empty-handed, can I?" Qin Siyao said with a smile. "I ask Sister Ruxue's guidance, please."
The next instant, the fortune of mountains and rivers, mixed with Qin Siyao's own spiritual energy, rose ceaselessly from behind her.
In less than two breaths' time, a mountain-tall dharma-form, wielding a spear, stood behind her.
"Then let us spar a little, miss."
Yan Ruxue spoke slowly.
She took a step forward, silver-white ripples spreading outward from beneath her feet.
In an instant, the night, dark across ten thousand li, seemed to fade away entirely, the whole world turning a pure, silver-white.
"Sister Yu, can we really escape?"
"Can that Sister Qin really hold back that beautiful older sister?"
Upon the great Hundun's back, Xue Kui asked Yu Yunwei worriedly.
Though Xue Kui had only recently set foot upon the path of cultivation, and held little concept of the various cultivation levels.
That beautiful older sister just now had truly been terrifying.
"It should be all right. Regardless, that Qin Siyao is an Ascension realm cultivator too." Yu Yunwei's brow furrowed.
To Yu Yunwei's mind, for Qin Siyao to actually defeat this Lord of the Four Seas would surely prove difficult. Otherwise, she wouldn't have needed to collaborate with them at all but regardless, both being at the Ascension realm, holding her back for a while should pose no great difficulty.
And once their group left the Ten Thousand Laws Realm, reaching the Western Region, matters would grow considerably easier yet before even a single incense stick's time had passed, the void passage trembled once more.
"What's happening? Why is the void passage's stability lasting even shorter than the first time?" Yu Yunwei asked Sili.
"I don't know either, but we must get out, or we risk becoming lost within the void."
Sili, too, felt considerable confusion in her heart. By rights, this void passage shouldn't be experiencing such problems but for now, they had no choice, forced to break through the void, the group flying out from within.
What met their eyes was a vast wasteland.
Sensing the great Dao's laws and resonance of this place, Yu Yunwei realized she had arrived at the border between the Ten Thousand Laws Realm and the Western Region.
"Sili, open the void passage again, immediately."
Yu Yunwei, coming to this realization, hurried to say to Sili.
If she could enter the void just once more, even if it wouldn't bring her all the way to the Ten Thousand Dao Sect's own gates, the remaining distance would be small!
And once they reached the Western Region, that would be her own home ground!
"Yunwei... look..."
Sili spoke slowly, her finger pointing toward the horizon, her voice carrying an uncontrollable tremor.
Yu Yunwei raised her head to look, and saw an enormous dragon's head breaking through the clouds, looking down upon them from above.
The silver-white dragon's body, several hundred zhang in length, coiled and wound through the cloud layer, appearing and disappearing, starlight reflected upon its silver-white scales, as though merged entirely with heaven and earth itself.
"So beautiful..."
Xue Kui murmured, unable to help herself.
Though the boundless dragon-majesty pressed down upon her like a mountain, the moment she saw this silver-white true dragon, Xue Kui felt as though her very soul had left her.
She had never before seen such beauty, as though it embodied the entirety of the great Dao itself.
The silver-white true dragon transformed into human form, drifting slowly down, landing before Yu Yunwei and the others, speaking slowly, “All of you, please, go home now."
…
Well past midnight.
This night's small disturbance had not even lasted three full hours before it came to an end.
Yan Ruxue gave Yu Yunwei and the others a choice: they could leave the Zhou Kingdom's palace, or continue staying within the Zhou Kingdom.
In the end, Yu Yunwei and the others chose to return to the Zhou Kingdom.
Once back within the Zhou Kingdom's palace, Yan Ruxue placed no restrictions upon them at all, not even sparing them another word.
She simply held Xiao Mo, walking step by step back to the sleeping quarters.
Yu Yunwei felt that this woman had never once regarded her as any real threat at all.
As though, whatever she and the others might do, it all amounted to nothing more than trivial mischief in her eyes and for some reason, watching Yan Ruxue's graceful figure carry senior brother away, Yu Yunwei's heart grew ever more troubled.
As though she herself were nothing more than an incompetent wife, watching her own husband be freely handled by another woman, utterly powerless to do anything about it, forced to watch helplessly!
Or perhaps, she was like a mere concubine, forced to defer to the primary wife's every whim!
"How did it come to this?" The more she thought about it, the heavier Yu Yunwei's chest felt.
"Sister Yu? Are you all right?" Xue Kui tugged at Yu Yunwei's small hand.
"I'm fine!" Yu Yunwei drew a deep breath. "I'll let her have this round. I haven't lost yet!"
"Oh..."
Xue Kui lowered her head, rubbing the little head of the Hundun in her arms, thinking to herself how Sister Yunwei could be even more stubborn than she was...
…
The Hall of Mind Nurturing.
Yan Ruxue gently laid Xiao Mo down upon the bed, tucking the blanket over him.
Because of the soul-scattering incense and the sleep-inducing tea, Xiao Mo had still not woken, remaining peacefully, deeply asleep.
Seated at the head of the bed, Yan Ruxue gazed tenderly at Xiao Mo's sleeping face.
Yan Ruxue drew a basin of water, dampening a cloth, gently wiping his cheeks, his neck, his hands, every place other women had touched.
"Honestly... just how many women have you attracted..."
"Though my temperament is even-tempered... I do get jealous too, you know..."
Yan Ruxue gently pinched Xiao Mo's nose.
"Do you even know that?"
