Void Evolution System Chapter 1897 The End [1]

Previously on Void Evolution System...
After merging with the Void, Damien shaped a new cosmos, free from the constraints of his former life. He became the architect of a reality where time flowed according to his will, crafting worlds filled with life and altering the very fabric of existence. As his presence faded from the True Void Universe, those he had touched received an invitation to join him in his new realm, realizing the importance of his absence. Among them were his wives, who stood before an ordinary house in this fresh world, ready to embark on the new chapter they had long awaited, united by the promise of time and shared aspirations.

Time.

Even for an Absolute, time was a force that demanded respect.

One would expect time to decelerate as conflicts vanished and tranquility settled over the lands, yet it continued its relentless pace. Why did it never slow down?

Rivers might flow for millennia, etching their mark into the earth, but time eventually evaporates them, leaving only dry canyons as proof of their existence. Stars radiate light for what feels like an eternity, but they too must submit to time, perishing in magnificent explosions.

Time governed everyone, even those who existed beyond its reach.

The world was breathtaking. In many aspects, it mirrored Earth, yet it was steeped in the fantastical. This was no ordinary cosmos devoid of energy, after all.

It was a realm where immortals could descend to savor the simple joys of a mortal life. Because it served as the residence of a supreme entity, peace was an absolute certainty here.

In distant lands, that being was deified and worshiped by millions, but in this specific place, he was merely a man.

He was a man who dedicated every day to the pursuit of simple happiness.

Healing the True Void and Sacred Abyss Universes was a long process. Even after several decades, the scars of the Great War remained visible. For the common people, the memory of that era was vastly different from Damien’s perspective.

While he hadn't experienced their specific hardships, he could sense their collective history. An entire world, spanning a surface area far greater than Earth, was blanketed in the names of the fallen. Not a single patch of ground remained unmarked. These people had endured a struggle for survival that only mortals could truly comprehend.

But the wounds were finally mending.

The atmosphere of the cosmos was no longer heavy with despair; instead, it was fueled by a drive for progress. The new destiny of their world provided the people with boundless hope, keeping their fighting spirits alive.

If someone sought a stagnant or sluggish world, this was not the destination for them.

No, the paradise established by the Absolute was far superior.

"Damien Void."

In a cosmos far beyond the knowledge of this world's residents, he was hailed as a Godly Being, the legendary Absolute who had destroyed the Dark God.

But here, he carried no such reputation.

In this house, he held only two titles.

Husband, and—

"—Dad, what are you doing?!"

A sharp, youthful voice rang out in protest.

"I don't want to get up! It's the weekend!"

A girl, roughly eight years old, rolled over and buried herself under her blankets. However, with the morning sun piercing through the fabric, she couldn't ignore the arrival of the day.

"Don't look at me," the girl's father remarked from the side of the bed.

"Your mother is the one who insisted I wake you."

"Mom?"

The child’s eyes darted out from beneath the covers.

With her snow-white hair and vivid purple eyes, her parentage was undeniable. She was well aware of how formidable her mother could be when she chose to be strict.

"Which mom is it today?"

She wasn't referring to Rose and the others; to the girl, they were her "aunties." While the question might confuse outsiders given their complex family dynamics, Damien understood her perfectly.

"We are currently dealing with stage 3 mom. She hasn't reached stage 4 yet, so if you move fast, you might still bring back stage 2 mom."

"Stage 2 Mom?!"

Hope flickered in the child’s eyes.

"Okay! I'm getting up!"

Damien reached out and ruffled her hair affectionately.

"Good girl. I'll see you downstairs."

As he stepped out of the bedroom, he struggled to suppress a mischievous grin. A "Stage 4" Ruyue was a force that even he feared. The relentless nagging he had suffered in that state was practically traumatic, making her the ultimate motivation to get the kids moving.

However...

"Stage 4?"

...his plan backfired when he was caught immediately.

Ruyue was waiting outside the door, arms crossed and an annoyed expression on her face.

"Care to explain what a stage 4 is, honey?"

A shiver ran down Damien’s spine. After twenty years and three children, had his secret ranking system finally been exposed?

Ruyue walked toward him with a threatening aura and pinched his ear.

"Stop playing games and get to the kitchen. Rose wants your help with breakfast."

Ruyue ignored his theatrical wincing and complaints. He was an Absolute, after all; a simple ear pull wasn't going to hurt him.

She only maintained her stern demeanor because she knew the children were observing. Even so, she couldn't entirely hide a small smile at Damien’s dramatic behavior.

Between them, they had two daughters and a son. With Rose, he had a son and a daughter; with Elena, a son; and with Iris, a pair of twins. Damien had been quite productive over the last twenty years, and the family they had built together was wonderfully chaotic.

Their oldest children—one of hers and one of Rose’s—were already preparing to step into the world as adults. The teenagers attended school, dreaming of achieving power and fame, completely unaware that their parents were the most powerful beings in existence.

The "aunts" and "uncles" they casually greeted were figures that world leaders would have to prostrate themselves before, but it was better for the children to remain ignorant of such things until they matured.

Wouldn't they just become spoiled if they knew their parents were Supreme across multiple universes?

Aside from Damien, the others remained active in the world, pursuing their own objectives in secret. The children knew they weren't a normal family—a standard house couldn't hold a group of their size. They lived in a massive estate, and their father always seemed to have an infinite supply of wealth whenever it was required.

Yet, Damien was a disciplined parent. He wanted his children to value independence and humility, so he refrained from gifting them luxuries they hadn't earned.

Parenting was a unique journey. Even for a Supreme like him, the years spent watching his children grow were more precious than any Cultivation breakthrough.

The only thing missing was August, who was now an adult. He was far too busy governing the revitalized Arulion to stay with them, though his monthly visits were always cherished.

Life in this plane was serene, and it was destined to stay that way.

It was a peace characterized by the freedom to do anything and the assurance that no new threats would loom on the horizon.

This era of tranquility stretched on for decades and then centuries.

Damien savored every moment of this quiet life with his family. He raised his children, saw them flourish, and eventually experienced the joy of welcoming grandchildren into the world.

Within those few hundred years, he accomplished every goal he had ever set for himself.

Everything he desired had been realized.

So... what was left to do?
