Void Evolution System Chapter 1893 Aftermath [1]

Previously on Void Evolution System...
The Dark God, in a final desperate act fueled by envy, expanded his form to catastrophic proportions, intending to destroy everything Damien loved before his own demise. As chaos unfolded, Damien experienced a profound transformation, transcending his existence and becoming an Absolute, a being neither bound by Existence nor Nonexistence. Despite the impending destruction, Damien remained unfazed, effortlessly neutralizing the Dark God's catastrophic end with a simple dismissal. In a quiet moment of clarity after achieving victory, Damien recognized the futility of existence, now perceiving all beings, including his fallen enemy, with indifference.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

To truly grasp the magnitude of the war, one had to observe it from various angles. It is perhaps best to start with the Divinities, whose conflict had become decidedly lopsided.

Despite the overwhelming number of Foreign Race Divinities flooding the field, their superior count offered them little advantage. While they had managed to exploit their strengths for a time, those days were over.

Tiamat fulfilled her role perfectly. She struck the moment the Dark God was displaced to a realm where his senses could no longer reach this world—a position where he was forced to ignore everything else.

As the seed within her soul began to germinate, her physical form was ripped asunder. A network of dark webs erupted through the Sacred Abyss, anchoring itself to the very fabric of reality. The fundamental laws shifted instantly. The oppressive weight of the Dark God’s presence vanished.

In a single stroke, the "immortality" granted to the Foreign Army was shattered.

Tiamat was destroyed along with it.

To claim she had died would be inaccurate, yet she wasn't exactly alive either. Her soul had been shredded, her very essence reconstructed into something unrecognizable. The Divinity she had painstakingly forged was liquidated, serving as the finite fuel required to power the seed.

The entity known as Tiamat ceased to be, her consciousness cast into a completely different vessel. She eventually woke up amidst the fields of an unfamiliar land. What her future held remained a mystery, but she felt a sense of peace in her new home, knowing her mission was a success. Through the lingering fractures in the sky, she knew she would be alerted when the final conclusion arrived.

Because her presence had been so isolated, her departure went unnoticed. Her influence, however, was monumental. Elena was the first to see the change. While tearing through the enemy ranks, she crossed paths with her original foe once again. It was far from their first encounter, but it would certainly be their last. As she had done many times before, she executed him and moved on, erasing his presence.

This time, he did not come back.

Ruyue finally crushed Chaos, driving her opponent into total oblivion. He stayed dead as well. One after another, those who fell remained in the grave. The Dark God’s legions were being systematically purged for good.

Having finished their own duels, Rose, Iris, and the others redirected their overwhelming power toward the lesser Divinities to accelerate the war's end. As these high-level entities began to intervene in the lower-tier battles, the conflict reached a swift conclusion.

The situation on the world's surface followed a different logic. The Vanguards did not rely on the Dark God’s resurrection; instead, billions of them were stashed away in massive storage facilities. They didn't need to be revived because they were easily replaced by fresh units.

Consequently, the struggle of the lower-tier combatants could not end quite as fast.

They fought with everything they had, yet the casualties were staggering. Tragedy stained the battlefield, but they pressed on regardless. They fought while clinging to the hope offered by the support forces.

These were the units commanded by Thalia. Even after the entire world was transitioned into the True Void Territory, their work remained. As previously noted, billions of Vanguard troops were hidden within the planet's crust. Now that they held control, they could locate these storage hubs and systematically wipe them out.

Fortunately, the inactive Vanguards remained in a state of dormancy. They offered no resistance as they were put to the sword, making the monumental task possible.

The tide had turned in their favor. Every moving part of the plan remained in perfect sync. The hearts of all those fighting within this crumbling cosmos were bound together in unity.

White and blue streaks scarred the firmament, marking places where the cosmos had been torn beyond any hope of repair. As ambient energy levels plummeted, it became clear that this realm would soon become uninhabitable.

Nevertheless, they continued to fight relentlessly. They fought because, without victory, there would be no tomorrow to see.

The end had not yet arrived.

Within the starry void—a place where even existing was a hazard—another transformation occurred. The Incarnation of Evil that Claire was battling had been pushed to the brink of death, but leaving it in such a state proved to be a fatal error. In its final moments, it surged alongside the Dark God, evolving into a true demon. It became a beast of impossible dimensions, possessing power that eclipsed even a Supreme God. Claire could no longer face it alone.

In truth, no single person could.

Dante appeared instantly. Though he had been watching from the periphery, he was now forced to step in.

Exerting his full strength, he moved to contain the creature.

The beast had access to the concept of Existence, after all. Its level rivaled his own only because it had never truly mastered the concept; it was merely a conduit for a fraction of the Dark God’s power.

Through Dante’s intervention, the beast’s higher abilities were suppressed. As long as he was there, it could not manifest power exceeding the Supreme God level.

However, this meant Dante himself was tied down. He was essentially locked in a battle of Existences with the monster.

Even so, the creature’s physical prowess was terrifying. Its raw strength remained a daunting challenge for even the Supreme Gods. Luckily, they had numbers on their side.

Every Divinity in the world rallied together. From the humblest Demigods to the mightiest Gods, anyone capable of dealing even a scratch to the beast gave their all.

They could feel it in their souls. As the white tears in the sky widened, they knew the duel between Damien and the Dark God was reaching its climax. Knowing this, how could they hold anything back?

Not a single warrior thought of hoarding their Qi or surviving through the deaths of their comrades.

They were cultivators and warriors. They had stepped onto this field for glory and honor, and they refused to let their names be tarnished by cowardice.

Desperation and hope peaked simultaneously. The combatants wondered just how much longer this struggle would persist.

As if in response to their silent question, a ripple of strange energy surged through the cosmos.

Every creature tied to the Dark God instantly crumbled into ash. The Incarnation of Evil vanished as though it had been a mere illusion, leaving the gathered Divinities in a state of shock.

Deep within a Vanguard research hub, Thalia’s team watched as the dormant soldiers turned to dust inside their pods.

The confusion lasted only a heartbeat before a wave of realization washed over everyone. The very atmosphere of the world began to transform.

While the Sacred Abyss Universe had always been defined by its gloom, a brilliant light now began to shine.

Even the lowliest commoner could feel the change. The air grew crisp, filled with the scent of nature and purity. The cosmos was beginning to mend itself. In the clash between the titans who ruled over all…

…a winner had finally emerged.
