Rage overtook the Crown Prince as riots ravaged Asura territories, commoners and Legendary Ranks storming the royal castle amid the collapse of royal mind control. The Asura Queen maintained composure, ordering the family's evacuation while recounting the clan's history from its founder's descent to Shen Ze. She detailed the bloodline hierarchy born from intermarriages, harem jealousies over a favored tavern maid wife, and the conspiracy of wives who poisoned the First Lady, engulfing the clan in chaos.

Attaining Legendary Rank didn't make anyone invincible. It merely ensured they wouldn't die without a fight and wielded total dominance over those ranked lower.

They lacked omniscience and couldn't exist everywhere simultaneously.

The founding father couldn't monitor every single member. His attempts at damage control came too late.

One vampire wife slept with another vampire, betraying the Asura secrets she knew.

Progress accelerated as the woman commanded her offspring to slaughter Asuras outside her bloodline. Asuras, being essentially human, served as prime vampire prey.

Vampires grew stronger, evolving in tandem with the Asuras.

The founding father labored tirelessly to wipe out the vampires and quell the clan's internal conflicts.

Before resolving every issue, vampires ambushed and slew him.

The Asura God Clan endured a turbulent era, but thanks to the founder's Upper Realm origins, their vast treasures ensured survival.

The three royal offspring inherited his legacy. Powerful and unyielding, they ascended to Legendary Ranks, seizing full command of the Asura God Clan.

Yet, excessive infighting prevented focus on the rising vampire threat.

The vampire clan enforced lax rules without a rigid noble structure. Operating as a council, they welcomed any talented vampire.

Not bound by family ties, they easily integrated outsiders. Their founder Evure's name persisted to honor his heritage, passed only to his direct descendants, while the clan remained a diverse assembly.

Asura historians claimed the clan lacked any solid foundation. Still, they discovered something that sped their path to Legendary Ranks.

They also devised methods to identify children with all-elemental affinities, raising them to Legendary Ranks and claiming supremacy in Shen Ze.

The Asura God Clan couldn't compete, lacking ways to halt the vampires' explosive growth.

Merely half a million years post-foundation, they rose to the top.

The Asura God Clan's infighting persisted unresolved.

Two million years after founding the Asura God Clan, internal strife settled. The three royals assumed total authority, mind-controlling every Asura except the founder's wives.

They proceeded to annihilate all the founder's wives, loyal or not. With their mother gone, no bonds remained.

"...and thus, no outsiders lingered in the clan two million years after its inception. Our three royal ancestors wisely safeguarded the bloodline from misuse by outsiders, imposing restrictions on all, including their own children—turning them to ash if outsiders claimed them."

The Asura Queen concluded their grim history.

The Crown Prince and Princess furrowed their brows.

"We have those restrictions too?" the Princess inquired.

"Yes." The Queen responded. "It's intricate, and generations of royals have toiled to erase it, but our three royal ancestors proved too devious and ruthless. They embedded a self-destruct trigger if anyone attempted removal."

"With such ironclad restrictions, how did anyone break free of the control?" The Princess pressed.

This stringent system upheld the Asuras for eons, even as many fell captive to Evure God Clan members.

Deep animosity toward the Evures stemmed from the founder's wife betraying him.

The Evure God Clan doctrine mandated slaying all discoverable Asuras, sparing only the First Lady's lineage.

Over millions of years, that lineage vanished, eradicated by Asura royals themselves.

Upon realizing this, the Evure God Clan unleashed full fury on the Asura God Clan, free to target any Asura.

Irreconcilable hatred festered deeply between the clans.

The Crown Prince observed the screens, witnessing the royal court's utter devastation. The king's throne was dragged out and burned publicly.

His face darkened gravely as he spoke, "Everyone but royals was controlled. Who could the betrayer be?"

The Asura Queen's eyes sharpened while scanning names on the scroll.

Her gaze fixed on one: a royal family member deceased five hundred thousand years prior.

"History records royals who loved outsiders, swiftly executed upon discovery. By 'others,' I refer to..."

The three royal ancestors anticipated fierce power struggles among their offspring. They foresaw repeats of past betrayals with numerous children.

Thus, they devised a scheme.

The eldest ancestor sired one son; the youngest, one daughter.

The middle ancestor's firstborn determined son or daughter.

The eldest's son wed the youngest's daughter, always producing one granddaughter and one grandson.

One married the middle ancestor's child, birthing a daughter and son.

The middle ancestor's grandchild then wed the eldest and youngest's remaining grandchild.

This eternal cycle persisted.

The ancestors decreed in their legacy that breaking it would doom the clan.

Some descendants loved outsiders and sought children with them.

They met merciless deaths, preserving the clan.

"...but if I'm correct..." The Asura Queen's serene expression twisted with frustration, brows knitting as she eyed the name from five hundred thousand years ago.

"...my uncle, or His Majesty's second brother, Kalyndor, loved an Evure God Clan woman. Discovery came too late; they had fled."

"Uncle Kalyndor!?" The Crown Prince and Princess exclaimed in unison. This was news to them!

In families, children typically call their mother's uncle 'grand uncle,' but Asura customs differ.

The Queen's uncle doubled as her children's uncle here.

The current King had a sister and brother. He wed his sister's daughter, fathering two children.

To Queen and children, Kalyndor was uncle.

"It must be him. Other instances were two million years back or earlier. I recall vividly His Majesty and Evure Legendaries pursuing him relentlessly."

The Crown Prince scowled, questioning, "But our bloodline showed no resonance. A child of Uncle Kalyndor would've registered. No Asura bloodline evades our detection."

The Queen sighed wearily, burdened by past recollections and present catastrophe.

"I wasn't present, but His Majesty shared that Uncle Kalyndor fought to the death. Stronger than His Majesty, he forced a alliance with Evure God Clan foes—the sole collaboration ever. Uncle's resistance let the woman escape, aided by her brother and his friend. What followed remains unknown; His Majesty kept silent."

"Father hid so much from us?" The Princess gasped.

The Queen nodded. "His Majesty spared you hatred for Uncle Kalyndor."

"Yet Uncle Kalyndor pushed our clan toward ruin..." The Crown Prince muttered, frowning.

"No. Royals ensure the clan's survival. You have unknown cousins in hidden dimensions. Bear children with them to perpetuate and restore our legacy." The Queen replied steadily.

The Princess creased her brows. "And our kids will pair with each other, right?"

The Queen nodded, sighing deeply, weary of it all.

"Restrictions bar outsider offspring. Uncle alone bypassed it, leaking the secret. Thus..."

The Queen paused uneasily.

Crown Prince and Princess wore somber looks.

The Asura Queen pressed on, "If necessary, your children may need to procreate with me for more heirs. No choice remains."

"..." The Princess grimaced distortedly; a vein throbbed on the Crown Prince's forehead. He gripped the armrest, biting his lip until blood trickled.

"Uncle Kalyndor... what have you wrought..."
