Xie Yurin reveals she and Chen Siquan have been married for three years, a plan hatched to exact revenge on Xie Ming for Yurin's lifelong feelings of unfair treatment. Xie Ming is devastated by this betrayal from both her sister and her lover. Father Xie disowns Xie Ming, but Chen Siquan intervenes, threatening to end business collaborations. Xie Ming accepts responsibility and leaves the wedding hall, dejected.

Within the opulent confines of a grand edifice in country S, a man in his twenties occupied his office, his countenance etched with profound grief and gloom.

Donning a bespoke suit, his handsomeness was striking. His verdant-blue eyes, long lashes, alluring pink lips, perfectly proportioned limbs, and sharp jawline contributed to an exceptionally attractive and handsome visage.

Renowned as one of country S's wealthiest individuals, the cold and detached CEO of the premier multinational enterprise, Li Corporation, and the world's most sought-after bachelor, twenty-seven-year-old Li Singtan found himself within his office, castigating himself for his perceived cowardice and duplicity.

As he was thus absorbed in self-reproach, a knock resounded through the room.

Li Singtan's brow furrowed, and he hurled a paper holder toward the door. "I instructed everyone not to disturb me. Are you people courting death? Get the hell out of here."

Stunned by the abrupt outburst, Han Zihao, Li Singtan's assistant, flinched. "Sir, it is genuinely of great importance. It pertains to....." Before he could complete his sentence, another object whizzed past him. Fortunately, due to his swift reflexes, Han Zihao managed to evade it.

"Have you grown tired of your existence and your job?" Li Singtan bellowed.

Han Zihao was uncertain whether to weep or laugh, yet he understood that failing to convey this crucial information to his superior would undoubtedly result in his dismissal, or perhaps even dire consequences.

Mustering all his courage, he ventured, "Sir....." Zihao's eyes widened in alarm as he witnessed Li Singtan reach for his laptop, poised to hurl it at him.

Swallowing the remainder of his words, he hastily scrambled towards the couch for cover. Then, closing his eyes, he shouted, "It concerns Ms. Ming."

Upon hearing her name, Li Singtan's heart gave a jolt. "What has transpired?"

Observing the shift in Li Singtan's expression, Han Zihao quickly rose, a sigh of relief escaping him. "Ms. Ming's marriage has been called off. It has come to light that Chen Siquan and Xie Yurin were already wedded and were deceiving Ms. Xie Ming."

After absorbing this news, a part of Li Singtan's heart yearned to see Chen Siquan strangled for his deceitful manipulation of his Xie Ming, while another portion secretly offered thanks for freeing his Ming, thereby paving the way for his own pursuit.

"Ascertain Ms. Xie Ming's whereabouts and have the car prepared." With these words, Li Singtan stood, adjusted his suit, and exited his office.

"Yes, sir." Han Zihao uttered as he watched his normally stoic and aloof boss depart.

Once Singtan had left, Han Zihao finally allowed himself to relax, sinking onto the couch.

He couldn't fathom the depth of his boss's fascination with Xie Ming, but one certainty remained: she was a person of immense significance.

His superior had specifically directed him to maintain a vigilant watch over Ms. Ming and report her every activity.

The preceding week, when Han Zihao had informed his boss of Ms. Ming's impending nuptials, the repercussions had been felt by every single employee of Li Corporation, across all domestic and international subsidiaries, for the entirety of those seven days. No one had known a moment's respite. And today, his boss had sequestered himself in his office, demanding to be left undisturbed, even should the company face collapse.

As Han Zihao remained lost in his reflections, a sharp, commanding shout pierced the air, "HAN ZIHAO!"

Startled by the sudden summons, Han Zihao sprang to his feet and began to move towards the office door, calling back, "Coming, sir."
