Xie Ming was abandoned at the altar by her fiancé, Chen Siquan, who revealed he had been cheating with her sister for three years. Humiliated and heartbroken, Ming was left alone after Siquan cruelly pushed her down and called her sick, before turning to comfort her sister.

Xie Ming struggled to rise, her legs refusing to cooperate, and a silent scream trapped in her throat, only the sting of tears accompanying her failed attempt to move.

While Ming was attempting to stand, she noticed Xie Yurin approaching. Yurin extended a hand, offering it to Ming, and said, "Get up, elder sister."

Ming took Yurin's hand and rose, her brow knitting in confusion as she observed Yurin meticulously wiping her hands with a tissue.

Xie Ming glanced from her sister to Chen Siquan, a question forming on her lips, "You two..." but before she could complete her thought, Xie Yurin interjected, "Since the very beginning, elder sister."

Xie Ming found herself furrowed in thought, trying to decipher Yurin's cryptic statement. Amidst her contemplation, Chen Siquan's voice cut through the air, "Did you truly believe I would marry you, or that I was genuinely interested? Haha... you overestimate yourself, Ms. Xie. I was merely toying with you. You are nothing but trash in Yurin's eyes."

Xie Ming stood frozen at Chen Siquan's cruel words, a surge of anger building within her. Clenching her jaw, Xie Ming seized Chen Siquan's shirt, her voice cracking as she cried out, "Why, Siquan, why? Why are you doing this? I truly loved you, please don't do this..."

Abruptly, Xie Ming was shoved aside by Xie Yurin.

"Keep your hands off my husband," Yurin fiercely declared.

A collective gasp swept through the hall, followed by a cacophony of shocked whispers.

Father Xie, who had been standing by his eldest daughter's side, remained in a state of disbelief, unable to process the scene unfolding before him.

Swiftly regaining his composure, Father Xie began to advance toward Xie Yurin, and then— *Slap!* A sharp, loud sound of a hand striking flesh echoed through the stunned hall.

As Xie Yurin staggered to regain her balance, *Slap!* another blow landed squarely on her face.

Just as Father Xie raised his hand for a third strike against his younger daughter, someone forcefully grasped his arm and sent him tumbling to the ground. "How dare you strike my wife in front of me?" boomed the voice.
