Transmigrated As My Former Uncle's Sweetheart Chapter 1826 I’d Like To Go To Sleep, Long Yin

Long Yin settled beside her on the bed, drawing her gently into his embrace. He spoke with a hint of helplessness, "Why have you turned so reserved toward me after months apart?"
"I'm not." Hexin raised her head to gaze at him.
"Are you sure?" Long Yin tilted her chin up, fixing her with his profound, dark gaze. "We're husband and wife now. I don't want you acting reserved around me. You came all this way to marry into Great Shang—if you keep being so polite and distant with me, it'll only sadden me. Seeing you like this pains me. I want you to live freely and at ease after our marriage, without any distance between us."
His words prompted Hexin to reflect on her own behavior.
Last year, after fixing their wedding date, nearly six months had passed without them meeting. A few days back, upon her arrival in Great Shang, they had only a brief encounter without much talk. Their next meeting was the previous night, their wedding night.
Ever since reuniting with him, she had grown more reserved and distant. Likely due to the long separation.
Meeting his earnest gaze this time, she eased up. She nodded. "Alright, Big Bro Long Yin." As she spoke, her arms wrapped around his neck, and she planted a kiss on his sharp, smooth chin.
Yet, facing his intense dark eyes, she still flushed and shifted slightly away from him.
Instead, Long Yin held her closer and lifted her onto his lap. Then, he reached for the gown nearby and began dressing her.
Removing it had been simple, but getting it back on proved far trickier.
For the first time, Long Yin was assisting a woman with her gown, fumbling a bit and moving slower than desired.
Sitting atop his lap, Hexin couldn't suppress her laughter at his clumsy efforts to dress her.
He resembled nothing like the lofty Crown Prince in that moment.
"What's so funny?" Long Yin at last managed to get the gown on her after some struggle. As he prepared to fasten her sash, he noticed her amusement and frowned at her.
Hexin promptly sealed her lips. "Nothing."
Long Yin eyed her intently and remarked deliberately, "I'll tend to you tonight."
Hexin's cheeks heated up, silencing her laughter as she watched him in quiet.
That evening, after dining at Grand Phoenix Palace, they headed back to the Eastern Palace.
Since it was still early, Long Yin visited the study to wrap up some tasks before joining her in the bedchamber.
Hexin had finished bathing by his return and lounged against the bedpost, absorbed in a book. Her lustrous black hair cascaded over her shoulders, lending her an air of tranquil beauty.
Spotting him, she set the book aside swiftly and slipped from the bed.
"Would you like a bath?" She approached to assist with undressing him.
"Yes." Long Yin nodded. Watching her bustle about before him brought a smile to his lips, stirring a novel warmth within.
This marked Hexin's debut in helping him change clothes, requiring considerable effort before she succeeded in removing his robes.
She had barely hung them when he enveloped her from behind, his voice low and husky. "Hexin, join me for my bath."
Hexin's heart raced. Without refusal, she nodded softly. "Okay."
Hand in hand, Long Yin led her to the bathing chamber.
Yet, they lingered inside for quite a while.
When they finally emerged, Hexin nestled in his arms, her pale, graceful legs peeking out.
As the soft bedding met her skin, Hexin struggled to keep her eyes open.
Noticing the man's undimmed vigor, she shivered faintly and pleaded, "I want to sleep, Long Yin…"
