Liu Yang returned after ten years aiding the dryads, earning praise from Lida and Zily amid their slight aging from worry. He planned to exit the perilous Wild Region with willing women, leaving clones for those staying behind to manage the city. After six months of rest and a five-year challenge, he and his companions reentered the Xinia Continent to celebrations, settling in a palace where fifty years passed swiftly with family life.

Five decades later, the Xinia Continent had transformed dramatically. The coming of the nine people from another world brought massive changes.

They introduced fresh cultures and unprecedented items to the continent's inhabitants, who gradually embraced them over time.

The nine kingdoms, governed by village leaders, flourished and grew wealthier, despite frequent wars sparked by the greed of some, claiming thousands of lives.

Through the years, greedy leaders unleashed conflicts and countless disasters, yet upon hitting level 500, they chose to depart, abandoning huge troubles for the kingdoms.

Normalcy returned only after many years.

History branded them as tyrants who fled after sowing chaos.

These leaders' descendants faced arrest and execution as punishment for the atrocities. Children and women alone survived; the rest perished.

Liu Yang sheltered these women and children, sparing them capture and torment.

As years flowed by, Liu Yang's women bore children repeatedly. His lineage expanded across generations.

Ten years post Liu Yang's return from the Wild Region, new races emerged on the Xinia Continent: dryads, sea race, enchanting demons, and more.

These races surfaced only after liberation from the Wild Region—or rather, the curse's removal.

Certain village leaders freed them during Wild Region explorations. The curse had evidently sealed them away.

Liu Yang ventured back to the Wild Region years later to assess things.

Shockingly, he discovered his clone had fathered many children with women there, spawning numerous descendants. This didn't faze him; it was expected.

A childless clone would have raised alarms.

Having surpassed the final challenge to reach level 500, Liu Yang lingered at level 499, unwilling to vanish without farewells to his women and children.

He stayed at level 499 for over thirty years.

His women aged alongside him, his children matured, wed, and presented him with countless grandchildren.

His existence was idyllic.

Yet all things must conclude.

Life follows suit, though theirs brimmed with joy for all.

One by one, the women passed in his embrace—not every one, as some endured longer.

Elraden and Zilyana departed first, being the eldest. They never left the Xinia Continent, opting to remain with Liu Yang through all those years.

Their lives ended fulfilled, without regrets.

Next came the others.

Ultimately, only Liu Yang remained, alongside younger lovers from his past.

On his final day's breath...

Liu Yang lay upon a vast bed, gazing upward. Solitude suited him; he hid his frailty from sons, daughters, and grandchildren.

Past eighty, Liu Yang appeared ancient, yet retained his full might.

Alas, no power defies time's supremacy.

Village leaders proved no different—they'd perish too.

His system interface displayed the choices.

"Accept or Wait" These led to the next realm.

"It seems like a good option to choose..." he rasped softly.

His eye's spark dimmed gradually. Death loomed near.

"My dear wives... I hope to meet you all in the other world..." Liu Yang whispered, raising a finger to tap the screen. It dropped limply.

Eyes shut, body still. After endless years, his saga closed.

"Invalid Option" rang the system voice.

"Impossible to Refuse"

zzzzz... zzzzz...

A brilliant light enveloped Liu Yang's form, then faded—leaving him unchanged.

This stunned everyone. Liu Yang hadn't foreseen his selection's rejection.

Hours on, a lover discovered his body. Burial joined him with his wives' resting place. United beyond the grave.

Two days hence, a grand funeral unfolded.

"Huh?? Where am I? What are those things?" Liu Yang glanced aside, sensing rapid transit. Hadn't death claimed him? Alive still? Confusion reigned.

"Congratulations on achieving ascension. As one of the village leaders, you have another life opportunity. Choose which world you want to go to" The system's voice resounded in his thoughts.

"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shock gripped Liu Yang at those words. Such a twist never crossed his mind.

It was utterly ridiculous. All people believed death signified the absolute conclusion, yet how could he, a simple village leader, receive another life? Wasn't this blatantly unjust to everyone else? Liu Yang couldn't grasp this at all.

"My beloved wives, it looks like our reunion must wait a bit longer... I'm truly sorry for that..." Liu Yang shut his eyes and whispered softly.

Upon opening his eyes once more, he steeled himself to confront whatever challenge lay ahead this time.

End (Or not)
