Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1608 Forged Demigods

Orion found himself appreciating those who spoke plainly. He extended a hand, and with it, the Primordial Pact was established between himself and Tolenna.
While the Primordial Pact wasn't an unbreakable vow, having the Commander bear witness offered a sense of security to both parties involved.
With their agreement finalized, Commander Thresh presented Orion with a Blade Token.
"Leonidas and Alexander alone will not suffice to defend The Bastion Wall," the Commander stated.
Though Orion kept his thoughts veiled, he was certain that Leonidas and Alexander would have felt a sting of wounded pride had they overheard the Commander's words.
"I have assigned eight Blade Guards to your command," Commander Thresh continued. "They are currently stationed at the mountain's base. You should notice Kael and Roric among them."
Orion paused, a profound sense of astonishment overwhelming him. If his memory served him correctly, every single Blade Guard was a demigod. The Commander's casual delegation of eight demigods utterly reshaped Orion's perception of his own support system.
"What is this, losing your composure already?" Commander Thresh inquired with a smirk, evidently amused by Orion's reaction.
"I am fully aware of the arduous journey required to attain the demigod stage," Orion responded. "I understand the immense difficulty in cultivating one. Beyond innate talent, the sheer volume of faith and territory needed is immeasurable."
The Commander offered a slight shake of his head. Instead of elaborating, he revealed a truth that nearly sent Orion reeling.
"The Blade Guards are a unique form of construct. While exceptional at defending fortifications, they possess limited offensive capability. Utilize them as you see fit."
Orion found himself rendered entirely speechless.
The Titan Continent. Within Stoneheart City.
Since Elara, the eldest daughter of the Horde, had made her return, nightly displays of arcane fireworks illuminated the city skies. These dazzling spectacles brought not only beauty but also a much-needed sense of tranquility to the inhabitants. Elara explained that these were both a projection of power and a subtle arcane surveillance network designed to deter minor transgressions.
In a secluded chamber within the Horde Hall, Elara, Lilith, and Onyx were engrossed in their respective tasks, each surrounded by formidable piles of administrative documents. Unlike Lilith and Onyx, Elara's files consisted solely of intelligence reports pertaining to her younger brothers.
"Mother, it appears young Pallas has finally begun to mature," Elara commented.
She was holding the very report Lilith had perused earlier—the one detailing Pallas's romantic entanglements within the Verdant Cloud Realm.
Lilith emitted a heavy sigh. Setting down her writing implement, she took several deliberate sips of tea, seeking to calm her persistent sense of irritation.
Nearby, Onyx concealed his face behind a ledger, affecting an air of having not heard Elara's remark. Nonetheless, the subtle quiver of his ears betrayed his intense curiosity. The seeds of gossip had been undeniably sown.
"My brother tends to be indolent," Elara elaborated. "Having a woman to help guide him is not necessarily a detrimental development."
To the astonishment of both Lilith and Onyx, Elara displayed no hint of anger or possessiveness. Observing Elara, a realization began to dawn upon Lilith. The eldest daughter of the Horde had seemingly relinquished all hope concerning her son's marital prospects.
"Are you and the prophet surprised, Mother?" Elara inquired. "Because we grew up together? Childhood sweethearts who were supposedly destined for each other?"
Lilith maintained her silence, while Onyx offered a discreet nod.
"I am aware the entire Horde was in fervent support of our union. For a time, I harbored similar expectations. I harbored no objections to Father's arrangements; in fact, I was quite thankful for them." Elara set Pallas's file aside and retrieved the reports concerning Caelus, Kronos, and Kaelen, proceeding to compare them. "However, children mature. My brother has grown, and so have I. He has forged his own path, and I shall forge mine."
She then directed her gaze toward Lilith. "Mother, Pallas has been kept in a protected environment. He has never endured hardship nor ventured beyond the confines of the Stoneheart Horde. Considering these circumstances, his current performance is, in fact, quite commendable. He inherits the Giant King's bloodline. As a descendant of the Stoneheart Titan progenitor, his inherent status is elevated. For him to truly develop, he must experience the wider world. He needs to navigate its ceaseless temptations... only then can he aspire to conquer more women and expand his territory. Mother, my brother is not without potential."
This assessment held a kernel of truth. Bolstered by Orion's potent Stoneheart Titan bloodline, Pallas, as a first-generation heir, was regarded with significant respect by outsiders, notwithstanding his personal shortcomings. He merely fell slightly short when measured against his brethren.
"You hold him in excessively high regard," Lilith stated, bestowing a gentle, maternal smile—a smile as tender as the one she had offered when she first encountered Elara.
Upon hearing Elara's reasoned perspective, Lilith finally conceded that given the strength of Orion's bloodline, Pallas's eventual accomplishments would likely not be disappointing. The considerable burden that had weighed upon her heart began to dissipate.
"Honestly, my interest lies more with my two unborn siblings than with Pallas and the others," Elara confessed. "From what I've managed to ascertain, their mothers are either demigods or are on the precipice of achieving that status. Mother, once the present situation here is resolved, will you accompany me to visit them together?"
Lilith offered a nod, assenting to the proposal. The truth was, even if Elara had not expressed this desire, the moon elf Isilra would likely have sought them out on her own accord.
"The Clayfolk Race has extended a formal request to be integrated into the Stoneheart Horde," Lilith announced, shifting the conversation back to matters of state. She produced a document and presented it to Elara and Onyx. "They aspire to visit the Horde Hall in the foreseeable future. What are your opinions on this matter?"
"Four Arch Lords and a contingent of remarkably talented young individuals," Onyx remarked thoughtfully after perusing the provided dossier. "To their perspective, the Stoneheart Horde likely serves merely as a temporary sanctuary for their future."
He lacked precise knowledge of the Clayfolk Race's current circumstances, yet dispatching their youth to the Titan continent was an undeniable strategy for preservation.
"Moreover, I harbor a suspicion that the Clayfolk Race has already entered into pacts with other entities across various realms," Onyx elaborated. "Accepting them into our ranks could very well provoke the hostility of an unidentified adversary. My recommendation is to either decline their request outright or to indefinitely defer their matter."
Onyx's gaze sharpened as he scrutinized the intelligence report, an aura of vigilance surrounding him.
"If – and I emphasize 'if' – their genuine intention is to join the Stoneheart Horde, then we shall stipulate they await the implementation of the Glory Points system. They can then accrue Glory Points to acquire the standing and consideration they seek. Adopting this approach towards external factions will ensure the cultivation of genuine allies." Onyx placed the document aside, his decision firmly established.
