Tangere guided his companions through the bustling city, planning a visit to the famed Silent Goblet tavern and the resource-rich Seeker shop. Meanwhile, Orion, an equal to Saint Gran Council's Morando, hosted him and Deputy Commander Edward. They formally struck an alliance to fortify the Titan continent, with Morando also agreeing to fund a private Alchemical Conservatory to ensure potion logistics.

Situated on the Titan continent, within the confines of the Platinum Citadel.

According to the initial strategy by the Champions Alliance, the Verdant Cloud Realm was slated to become the central hub for the Platinum Authority, an area conceptualized as the Platinum Realm.

However, their tenure was short-lived. Commander Thresh bestowed the nascent Platinum Realm upon Orion, resulting in its direct collision with the Titanion Realm.

Consequently, the Platinum Authority's dominion now occupies the eastern expanse of the Titan continent, situated in close proximity to The Great Bastion of the East. The Platinum Citadel itself is erected upon a colossal hill, purposefully flattened in the heart of an expansive plain. From its base, the landscape stretches out for miles.

Leaning against the unfinished foundation walls of the Citadel, Pallas idly chewed on a wild berry. He held his young fawn, Sylvie, nestled securely against his chest as his gaze swept across the seemingly endless eastern plains.

"I apologize, Sylvie. I cannot yet escort you to meet my parents," Pallas expressed, planting a kiss on her forehead.

The act of riding the Platinum Realm as it impacted the Titanion Realm should have been advantageous, yet Pallas found himself tethered. His directives were unambiguous: the construction of the Citadel had to be completed before his departure. Erecting structures was not an unfamiliar task; he had undertaken similar work during his time with the Stoneheart Horde.

Nevertheless, even before concluding his present obligation, a new assignment arrived. Upon the Citadel's completion, he was to proceed directly to The Great Bastion of the East. Someone awaited him there.

While the identity of this individual remained a mystery to others, Pallas understood that his father had arranged for him to have a teacher. Whether this person would be an instructor, a master, or a mentor, he was uncertain. The burden of failing to return home and uphold his promise weighed heavily upon him.

"There's no need to apologize, my gentle giant. I will accompany you wherever you go."

Sylvie looked up at him, her quiet gaze piercing through the rhythmic chanting of the laborers and the abrasive creak of cart wheels.

Pallas found himself unable to meet her clear, unblemished eyes. He averted his gaze, focusing instead on the ink-dyed horizon as twilight descended. A sudden gust of wind brushed her hair against his cheek, stirring a pang in his heart.

"This is not the Titan continent I once knew. The world beyond is fraught with peril," Pallas murmured. "I am headed towards The Bastion Wall, and whispers suggest that place is overrun with monsters."

A man's most profound failure lay in his inability to safeguard his family and the woman he cherished. Pallas was beginning to comprehend this harsh reality.

"Sylvie, your kin still reside here. Please, just await my return, alright?"

"No..."

Before their exchange could delve further into sentimentality, an unwelcome voice intruded from the foundation area behind them.

"Hey, giant boy! If you don't return to your supervisory duties, your laborers will undoubtedly abscond!"

A young mage, perched atop a mound of black stone, directed a smirk downwards at him. His name was Madison, an individual he had recently encountered.

"Madison, once this task is concluded, I shall be journeying eastward to The Bastion Wall," Pallas called back. "Would you care to join? I can guarantee an unending swarm of invertebrates for you to vanquish. With the potency of your Meteor Shower, you would profit handsomely. You could exchange your spoils for cultivation resources far exceeding your needs. Furthermore, your robes are abysmal. A high-tier upgrade is imperative..."

Pallas brushed the dust from his trousers and helped Sylvie to her feet. In that fleeting moment, his resolution solidified. He would not only bring Sylvie but also enlist Madison and every other fervent, adventure-seeking youth he could find to bolster the defense of The Bastion Wall alongside him.

The Valkorath Realm. Blade's Edge Peak.

Upon the arrival of Orion's Death-Soul Fiend avatar, an unexpected presence was discovered awaiting him at the peak. It was a woman, exuding a familiar aura. An old, lingering scent.

The distinct scent of the Mycelial.

"You?" Orion inquired. "The architect behind the Mycelial? Tolenna?"

Her rhetorical questions seemed to amuse her. Tolenna observed him, her eyes sparkling with surprise.

"I recall you as well," she stated. "My Mother of the Mycelium narrowly escaped demise at your hands."

Orion remained silent, his gaze shifting towards Commander Thresh. The Commander emitted a chuckle and offered a shrug. He spat out a blade of grass he had been idly chewing and spoke with an air of nonchalant indifference.

"Allow me to offer a formal introduction. Tolenna, sovereign of the Mycelial race. A demigod of the third stage. She harbors a keen interest in establishing a presence within the Titanion Realm."

A demigod of the third stage and a Mother of the Mycelium? Then who had Deputy Commander Edward been engaged in such a desperate conflict with previously? Was this some elaborate jest?

"So, she was merely a sparring partner you procured for us?" Orion directed his words at Commander Thresh, his tone gradually shifting to one of pronounced respect.

"What else?" The Commander's lips held a faint smirk, providing Orion with all the confirmation he needed. "It was merely one of her demigod phantasms out there. You ought to be expressing gratitude towards Tolenna. Without her influence, neither you nor Leonidas would have achieved such rapid growth."

Orion inclined his head, offering a gesture of respect to both the Commander and Tolenna.

"My terms are straightforward," Tolenna stated. "Once your requirements are met, you shall assist me in condensing a Divine Mantle."

Her gaze met his. The nature of her alliance with Orion was distinctly different from the pact established between the Saint Gran Council and the Stoneheart Horde. Tolenna harbored ambitions for her own personal ascension, whereas the Saint Gran Council's objectives were centered on fostering enduring faith and securing a political foothold on the Titan continent.

"Your Excellency, that is hardly a simple request," Orion responded. "Although the Titanion Realm has successfully ascended to become an Ascendant Plane and has since assimilated several minor worlds, not a single trace of a Divine Mantle has manifested to this day."

Orion remained firm in his stance, unwavering despite her camaraderie with the Commander. After a brief pause, his tone shifted, conveying absolute sincerity.

"Should the circumstances permit, I will indeed aid you in condensing a Divine Mantle. However, I too have a condition. You must scout a new world for me. My intention is to integrate it into the Titanion Realm, thereby augmenting my world Authority."

At his present cultivation level, lesser demigods held no standing to negotiate with him. Tolenna, an unusual Mycelial demigod, represented the sole exception.

"A new world?" Tolenna inquired. "Are there any particular specifications?"

She maintained her composure. It did not come as a surprise that Orion presented a counter-offer; she would have harbored suspicions had he asked for nothing in return.

Orion conveyed a negative gesture. When he had previously merged a minor world into the Titanion Realm, his sole extraction had been its World Essence. He held no concern for its biome, its inhabitants, or its prevailing factions.

"Very well," Tolenna conceded. "We have an agreement."
