Orion boldly proposed to Coraline, offering the maritime dominion as a fiefdom for their heirs, but she rejected him with calculated poise. Tempted to eliminate her, he instead permitted the three Demigods and their kin to evacuate peacefully from Eldoria. In Blackstone City, Lorelia emerged from slumber as an Archlord Broodmother, fully human in appearance, and reunited with Orion, who rewarded her advancement with his prized Dragonscale Leather Armor.

"You are the Horde's greatest treasure now. You must have protection befitting your station."

With those words, a mystical cloak suddenly appeared in Orion's grasp.

Lorelia stared in shock as he placed the Lightning Cloak around her shoulders.

This artifact provided powerful defenses against both physical and magical assaults, while also housing a sealed, taboo Thunder spell—a catastrophic strike that activated without any chant. It blended attack and protection flawlessly.

"Master... Master... Lorelia knew it! Master loves Lorelia the best!"

Overwhelmed by feelings, Lorelia seized Orion's massive hand, rubbing her cheek against it and cuddling it like a loyal pet.

"Head to the castle and stay with your Mistress. The little ones are out testing themselves in the world, leaving her feeling isolated."

Lorelia had finally matured.

Orion let out an inner sigh blending relief and fond memories. His form turned to vapor, then he instantly rematerialized on the throne inside the castle, gazing at the Vixen Sylvana still immersed in meditation.

South. Stoneheart City.

Within one of the castle's management chambers, Lilith pondered deeply while clutching an intel report from the Seekers.

Lysinthia and Lycanor stood nearby, helping her tackle the pile of documents.

The Horde's other vital women were stationed in different locations. Ava managed Rosethorn's building efforts; Ria, fixated on her plant experiments, went to Caelus's territory to direct the gardens and urban design; and Butterfly Matriarch Sophia journeyed to the remnants of the ancient Human Imperial Capital to guide Sophia City's development for Kaelen.

"Mistress, has something happened?"

Among Orion's women, only Lysinthia could address her that way so casually in public. It was her exclusive right.

"Take a look at this."

Lilith skipped formalities with Lysinthia. Their connection ran deeper than status; she often felt nearer to Lysinthia than her twin Delilah. They had supported Orion side by side, seeing the Stoneheart Horde grow from desperate survivors into a majestic empire. To Lilith, Lysinthia was real kin.

"An insectoid egg... capable of birthing a Broodmother?"

Lysinthia showed surprise. After the world's laws changed, the Stoneheart Horde had seized living Broodmothers in their campaigns against the Insectoids, but discovering a fertile egg was unheard of.

Such an egg allowed them to nurture a Broodmother from the start, ensuring total devotion to the Horde.

"The Seeker's appraisers say the egg pulses with strong vitality. It's very likely to produce a Hero-rank Broodmother, with a small possibility of Alpha-level," Lilith clarified, eyeing Lycanor to loop him in. "The Seekers want to know if we should label it contraband and ban its trade."

"A key resource like this... you don't plan to cultivate it in the core Horde?" Lycanor inquired.

From years of collaboration, Lycanor understood Lilith's nature. If she raised it for debate, she typically meant the Horde had no use for it.

He guessed correctly. Lilith had just learned of Lorelia's rise to Archlord. A standard egg, probably just Hero-rank, didn't excite her. Plus, the Horde already backed plenty of Broodmothers. Better to offload the new one's maintenance to the lesser clans' spare resources.

The auction victor would basically fund that Broodmother's needs.

"It's merely one Broodmother. Let it go. Treat it as a perk for our clansmen," Lilith ruled firmly. Besides the ever-detached Orion, her command reigned supreme in the Stoneheart Horde. "Besides, when grown, it will still battle under the Horde's flag."

"Notify the Seekers. Put the egg up for auction. Highest bid takes it."

"Understood," Lysinthia acknowledged with a nod. "I'll prepare the order."

"Ensure they understand: Broodmothers are valuable. We'll take Stoneheart Coins, but Horde Merit Points, rare items, and vital supplies count as payment too."

"Also, inform the Seeker leaders: this egg stays internal only. Outsiders forbidden."

Lilith tacked on the last rule to block influences from other realms—especially factions like the Order of the Dandelion under Grand Magus Rhazuun. Against those timeless giants, Stoneheart Horde members seemed like beggars. She refused to let foreigners snag their assets.

Lysinthia recorded the orders and sent the dispatch right away.

"On Broodmothers, here's more intel. Check this out."

Lilith retrieved another report from her private stash and passed it to Lysinthia. Lycanor observed jealously; a document straight from Lilith signaled ultra-secret status and urgency. Her casual handover highlighted their deep trust.

"Broodmother?" Lysinthia skimmed it, eyes growing wide. "Kaelen... Melissa... A Dragonlouse Broodmother?"

"Kaelen's bringing her to meet us?"

The news hit like a bomb. Lysinthia gaped at the page before a smile lit her face.

"He really takes after the Master. Capturing an Insectoid Broodmother like that."

Admiration fueled her words. Orion had once kidnapped Soraya and made her one of them; now Kaelen delivered Melissa. Like father, like son.

"Ha!" Lilith burst into laughter, holding her side as mirth consumed her. She caught Lysinthia's drift perfectly.

"This isn't about Orion!" she declared, brushing away a tear. "Kaelen's charm comes from being the Insect King of the Dark Butterfly Race. Insectoids naturally fear him."

"Kaelen explains that Broodmothers crave superior Insect Kings for safety and better offspring bloodlines."

Lilith regained composure. Her earlier indifference to the egg stemmed from the Broodmother windfall lately. Lorelia's Archlord evolution first, now Kaelen luring a Legendary Broodmother to switch sides.

"Mistress," Lysinthia said, eyes sparkling with interest. "I wonder... will she pass Sophia's test?"

Lysinthia grasped the backstory between Sophia and her son.

Sophia was a Broodmother too. She knew intimately the challenges of bearing Orion's heirs and precisely what shaped Kaelen's children's promise.

"Tough to predict," Lilith reflected. "Sophia's soft, reserved look deceives. She's fierce—once she even took Orion by force."

"I bet Melissa faces tough scrutiny. In Sophia's shoes, I'd inspect her thoroughly to confirm worthiness."
