The Strongest Legend of Dragon Ball Chapter 3 Three years
Previously on The Strongest Legend of Dragon Ball...
Three months vanished in the blink of an eye, and Xiaya was finally permitted to exit the infant training room. He was carried out from the containment pod, only to discover that his escorts were not his parents, but rather a Saiyan couple he'd never met. "Little Xiaya, your parents perished while on a mission. From this moment on, Aunt Rebecca will be your caregiver," the attractive female Saiyan spoke softly, cradling Xiaya. Rebecca's husband, meanwhile, lifted another Saiyan toddler and placed her onto a mobile cot alongside Xiaya before they departed the nursery. "Although Brent and his comrades fell in battle, as their fellow soldiers, we will ensure their children are well looked after. This way, Xiling will also have a companion. Down the line, we can plan for them to undertake missions together," Adri, Rebecca's husband, stated, gesturing to the other child. "Indeed, I pray the two little ones will find happiness together!" Rebecca replied, a gentle smile gracing her features as she gazed at the two infants on the cot. 'So, my parents met their end during a mission, and the individuals now caring for me were their former comrades,' Xiaya mused, noting the absence of profound grief over his parents' demise. Perhaps, beyond a mere familial bond, their connection was not deeply rooted. Conversely, Xiaya felt a burgeoning warmth towards the Saiyan couple who had adopted him. He turned his gaze to the other child nestled beside him, observing a small toddler gnawing on her tiny finger. Her bright, innocent eyes were fixed upon him, unblinking. Noticing his stare, the little one let out a soft whimper, withdrew her finger from her mouth, and brought it towards Xiaya's lips with a gentle cooing sound. "Hey there, what are you doing!" Xiaya nudged the Saiyan girl's fingers away, but the child seemed delighted by the interaction and extended her hand once more. "Rebecca, look, Xiaya seems displeased with little Xiling. I'm certain they'll become the best of friends," Adri chuckled. "Yes!" Rebecca watched the two little ones with an affectionate smile, her heart filled with joy. 'From where does he get the idea we'll get along so well?' Xiaya lamented inwardly. Rebecca's residence was situated in a thriving district of Planet Vegeta, not far from the Imperial City. The inhabitants were generally families of warriors from the mid-to-high-level spectrum. As Rebecca and her husband were both classified as High-level warriors, their home was undoubtedly the most opulent in the vicinity. To facilitate mission coordination, team members typically resided in close proximity. Xiaya's original dwelling was also in this neighborhood, merely a few blocks from the Rebecca couple's abode. During their most recent mission on a desolate planet, Adri's squad had walked into an ambush by enemy forces. Post-conflict analysis revealed that out of Adri's thirteen team members, seven had perished, and four sustained critical injuries, marking a catastrophic blow to the unit. Xiaya's parents were among those who did not survive. Adri's team, in essence, ceased to exist. Therefore, upon their return to Planet Vegeta and after disbursing condolence funds to the families of the fallen, Adri disbanded the team. He then secured a position as a military instructor at a training facility. It was during this period that they learned of Xiaya's existence, and subsequently brought him home to be raised alongside their own daughter, Xiling. Since residing with the Rebecca couple, Xiaya's life had been remarkably comfortable, save for the persistent presence of a certain young Saiyan. For reasons unknown, ever since their initial encounter, the young Saiyan named Xiling had fixated on Xiaya as if he were the most amusing toy. Her entire focus was on shadowing him, unwilling to part even during meal times or sleep, leading Rebecca to frequently remark that they were two souls destined to be together. Before long, the time arrived for Xiaya and Xiling to commence their training. Under Adri's arrangements, the pair entered the training camp. Beyond High-level warriors, only Saiyans possessing exceptional natural talent were granted independent training facilities. All warriors of the Mid-level tier shared and utilized common training grounds. Given Xiaya and Xiling's latent aptitude registered as Mid-level warrior potential, they were assigned to a designated training camp. This particular camp housed a total of one hundred Saiyans, all children exhibiting Intermediate latent talent. Their Battle Power typically ranged between sixty and seventy. A select few, like Xiaya, possessed Battle Power nearing one hundred. These young Saiyans underwent rigorous training under the tutelage of seasoned adult Saiyans. The days within the training camp were arduous. After a spell of intense training, Xiaya immediately grasped the stark contrast between the Saiyan and Earthling methods of conditioning.
What kind of training is this? It's just gathering every day, and besides being beaten, they continue to be beaten. That adult Saiyan simply doesn't know what leniency is; no matter who you are, you will be fiercely beaten. They were basically not focusing on providing guidance.
“Is this the training method of a Fighting Race? If it weren't for a Saiyan's physique being strong, what kind of effect could this kind of training produce?”
Xiaya, on the training ground, helplessly shook his head. During this time, his Battle Power hadn't improved much, but his ability to resist beatings had actually improved a lot. In his opinion, this kind of training was a complete waste of time. Thinking of this, Xiaya felt a bit of regret. Were the training methods in the universe so backward? No wonder they couldn't even use Ki.
It was a pity that such days would drag on for another three years. This was merely wasting life for Xiaya, who wholeheartedly wanted to become stronger.
There were several times when Xiaya asked Adri if there was any other training method. But Adri looked at him with great surprise and replied, “This is the best method for Saiyans to grow. Many lifeforms in the universe grew up through such training.” It left Xiaya speechless for a moment.
From this, Xiaya was finally able to see the gap between Saiyan and Earthling training. The Saiyan training method was very clumsy, primitive, and uncivilized. However, this training method was currently the most popular one in the universe. In contrast, Earthling training methods could be called religious practices!
The strong grind their claws, while the weak fight with wisdom.
Earthling training methods were created due to long years of struggle on lower-level planets, combined with their high-level wisdom in training, which was different from the people of the universe in the beginning. So, it was no wonder that the vast majority of people in the universe could not use Ki.
In desperation, Xiaya could only fumble around by himself, based on his past experience of watching Dragon Ball animation. He tied a heavy load to his hands, as he didn't know any other profound methods.
Fortunately, with the ten times gravity on Planet Vegeta, the effect was immediate. Very soon, he surpassed his peers, the Mid-level Warriors. And Little Xiling, who was Xiaya’s shadow, saw him tie a bag onto his body and felt it was amusing, so she also tied a few onto herself. But suddenly, she couldn’t even walk, causing Xiling’s tear-filled eyes to glare dissatisfiedly at Xiaya.
Towards this, Xiaya indicated that this was truly not his fault! Finally, after enduring training for three years, he was close to one meter in height at almost 4 years old. His Battle Power also broke through to 410 points, which was particularly prominent. Generally, it was only 200 for Mid-level Warriors in a training camp.
It should be known that a Battle Power of 410 is much higher than that of Sun Goku in the original work when he participated in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament and defeated Piccolo. And right now, Xiaya is less than four years old. This was due to his latent talent as a Mid-level warrior; of course, Xiaya’s great efforts were inseparable from it.
And following Xiaya was Xiling, whose Battle Power reached 370, also exceeding a large number of her peers. The achievements of these two people compared to an average High-level warrior were excellent.
After the three-year period ended, Xiaya and Xiling also received their missions. Under Adri’s administration, Xiaya and Xiling’s missions were arranged together. The goal was to locate a remote planet called Planet Selma in the southern part of the Northern Milky Way star field.
