Xiaya awakens in a dark void after his death in his previous life. After struggling to escape the darkness by chasing lights, he is absorbed by a giant light ball, which strengthens his soul and transports him. He finds himself reborn as a Saiyan infant on Planet Vegeta, possessing knowledge of the Dragon Ball world and a desire to survive.

For approximately one month, Xiaya remained peacefully within the infant training pod, growing steadily under the nurse’s diligent care, healthy and robust. Despite the Saiyans' naturally stoic disposition, their attentiveness towards newborn children is remarkably thorough. These particular training pods, engineered with Dada Star's most advanced technology, provide not only silken mattresses and a perfectly temperate growing environment but also administer regular, high-dosage nutrient solutions to ensure accelerated and optimal development for the younglings.

A full month elapsed, and Xiaya observed the transparent display before him. The data indicated his Battle Power had climbed to 95, an increase of 6 points from the previous month. While this might seem a small increment, it is quite commendable for a newborn Saiyan infant. Xiaya understood that his latent talent was exceptional for a mid-level warrior. Though it didn't match the prowess of a high-level warrior born with over 100 Battle Power, it was still an impressive feat for any newborn. On Planet Vegeta, roughly 10,000 Saiyan children were born annually. A minuscule fraction, fewer than a hundred, consisted of high-level warriors. The overwhelming majority comprised low-level warriors and a smaller number of mid-level warriors.

Upon completing their incubation period, these low-level warriors would be dispatched to perform missions on lesser planets. Mid-level warriors, however, were slated to remain on Planet Vegeta for three years of rigorous training before their deployment. As for the high-level warriors, they were regarded as the pride and treasures of Planet Vegeta, receiving the most superior training and care until they ascended to become the Saiyan race's finest combatants.

To put it bluntly, this was precisely how the Saiyans treated their progeny. After the incubation phase, the Saiyan social hierarchy was starkly revealed: high-level warriors received preferential treatment, while low-level soldiers were sent into perilous missions, compelled to forge strength through life-or-death struggles before being deemed worthy of returning to Vegeta. The Saiyan society championed the brutal principle of 'survival of the fittest'; they were an inherently martial race, with no place for the weak, reserving Planet Vegeta solely for the strong.

During this past month, Xiaya also encountered his parents, a quintessential Saiyan couple. The law of the jungle was deeply ingrained within them, compelling them to depart on a mission shortly after a perfunctory visit with Xiaya. He simply observed quietly, then closed his eyes after their departure.

It was then that Xiaya unexpectedly noticed Bardock. Bardock, at this time, was still quite young, likely under twenty years old. He had arrived with fellow warriors to visit the newborn child of a comrade. Bardock's youth signified that a considerable amount of time, at least a decade or more, remained before Frieza’s cataclysmic destruction of Planet Vegeta. This afforded him ample time to mature and potentially depart the planet.

This realization filled Xiaya with elation. “Heh heh, at least ten years until Planet Vegeta’s demise,” he mused, his immaturely small face breaking into a joyful smile, his eyes gleaming with confidence. “That’s enough time for me to develop into a formidable warrior.”

“My next phase involves three years of training on Planet Vegeta, after which I’ll be assigned to a remote planet for missions. Perhaps I can seize that chance to slip away unnoticed to Earth,” Xiaya contemplated internally. However, he swiftly dismissed the idea of an immediate journey to Earth. It was far too soon; he intended to spend a few more years preparing, waiting for his body to mature further.

More critically, every Saiyan spacecraft was equipped with a tracking system. He feared that traveling to Earth prematurely might inadvertently draw Frieza’s attention sooner than anticipated, escalating the risk of Earth’s discovery. Since arriving in the Dragon Ball universe and, by fortunate chance, becoming a Saiyan, Xiaya harbored no intention of contentedly existing in obscurity, living a mediocre life, only to perish as a typical Saiyan alongside Planet Vegeta under Frieza’s dominion.

He aspired to become a powerfully dominant figure, one who dictated the course of his own destiny. Frieza, Androids, Majin Buu – all would serve as mere stepping stones on his ascent, obstacles he was determined to surmount. He vowed to surpass the original narrative, to achieve a level of power exceeding even that of Son Goku and Vegeta.

For the present moment, Xiaya recognized the necessity for meticulous planning to ensure his growth proceeded steadily and without incident. Among the Saiyans, individuals born with a Battle Power below 30 were classified as low-level warriors. Those ranging from 30 to 100 were deemed mid-level warriors, while any exceeding 100 were considered high-level warriors.

To a significant degree, the potential of a Saiyan is inherently capped by their birth. Typically, low-level warriors rarely surpass a Battle Power of 2000 upon maturing. Mid-level warriors fall within the 2000 to 5000 range, while only the high-level warriors manage to reach or exceed 5000 Battle Power.

Consequently, high-level warriors are held in especial esteem among the Saiyan populace. They represent the pinnacle of the Saiyan lineage and serve as their foremost combatants.

Currently, Planet Vegeta hosts fewer than twenty warriors whose Battle Power surpasses the 10,000 mark, yet none stand out as exceptionally remarkable even amongst their own kind.

Xiaya does not dispute the significance of innate talent. Superior latent ability can indeed amplify training efficiency, leading to double the results with half the effort. Given identical dedication, individuals blessed with good latent talent will reap rewards several times greater than those with lesser abilities! However, without proper guidance and the discipline to transcend basic instincts, one's inherent potential becomes the greatest impediment on the path to strength. It is undeniable that a person with good latent talent will ultimately fare better than someone with poor latent talent.

Yet, he also comprehends that latent talent is by no means the sole determinant of an individual's future success, particularly for the Saiyans.

Numerous instances illustrate this point.

Consider Son Goku's father, Bardock. Despite being classified as a low-level warrior, the Battle Power he displayed during Planet Vegeta's annihilation far surpassed that of many high-level warriors. These extraordinary achievements were the direct result of Bardock's relentless dedication, pushing his physical limits through years of strenuous combat.

Then there is Son Goku himself, a seemingly ordinary low-level warrior who consistently shattered his own boundaries, ultimately ascending to become one of the universe's most formidable beings.

Could such feats be attributed solely to latent talent?

Absolutely not. While latent talent might offer a measure for the accomplishments of an average individual, it is not the defining factor. Its true significance is only realized within the context of the developmental environment.

Why could Son Goku repeatedly surmount his limitations? While Saiyan heritage undoubtedly played a role, Saiyan blood alone does not grant supremacy in the universe. Prior to Son Goku's ascendance, Saiyans were renowned as a 'Fighting Race,' considered among the elite warriors. However, even without Frieza's direct intervention, Captain Ginyu's forces alone possessed the power to annihilate the entire Saiyan clan.

It is erroneous to assume that possessing Saiyan blood guarantees universal domination. Grounded in tangible evidence, Xiaya believes that the training methodologies of Earthlings are remarkably advanced. In contrast to the crude and brute force energy assaults favored by most universal races, Earth's training techniques are more refined and significantly better suited for cultivating formidable strength.

The combination of Saiyan lineage and Earth's training methods could potentially offer a superior path, laying a robust foundation for continuous limit-breaking.

“Once my body has fully matured, I must seize an opportunity to visit Earth and learn their training techniques.”

With this thought in mind, Xiaya gradually drifted into slumber.
