The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1336: Another Way In

Meanwhile, the scandalized person tasked with relaying the news that Princess Kira had successfully breached some sort of underground prison and rescued captives apparently being forced to work for a shady operation was one Luca Kyros.
Which meant the golden-eyed cadet innocently parroted her words aloud before letting everyone else listen in on the live connection.
"Chopped off his testicles?!"
The horrified gasp came not only from Luca and Ollie, but also from Ada, whose usually composed face had twisted into a wild mixture of profound relief and utter distress as she desperately hoped the Princess hadn’t decided to pocket it as a souvenir.
However, just as everyone began exchanging increasingly worried looks, Luca, who was already about to be gently comforted by his husband, suddenly blurted out with complete earnestness,
"It’s okay! We—we’ll just reattach them somehow! If you think that’s the right call, just do it!"
"..."
The surrounding cadets practically goggled at him.
Several jaws dropped at the absurdly casual solution, yet Luca remained completely unfazed. There were far more important things to worry about right now than whether someone who hurt children would still be capable of having his own progeny!
In hindsight, wasn’t the Princess practically doing the universe a favor?
He hurriedly asked whether Kira’s group was capable of moving immediately, especially after learning that the captives were innocent civilians and that there were even young children among them.
"We’ve got the Academy-issued first-aid kits with us," Princess Kira’s voice crackled through the comms as she described their situation. "The captives aren’t exactly in the best condition, but I can make it significantly easier for everyone to move if I use wind walking."
Luca’s relief lasted all of two seconds before a new concern immediately replaced it.
Wouldn’t pushing her spiritual energy that hard be dangerous right now?! Supporting herself was one thing, but supporting that many people meant carefully regulating her energy for all their different constitutions.
The golden-eyed cadet was already preparing to suggest that they find somewhere secure to hide for a little while, hoping he could sneakily provide a few helpful supplies from the dungeon space, when Kira cut him off.
Apparently, she’d already figured out exactly what he was going to suggest.
And unfortunately, it wasn’t possible.
Every conscious captive was staring at her as though terrified she’d disappear the moment they looked away. The chances of getting caught with inexplicable items were simply too high when she could still manage this much on her own.
Sure, it would be a massive pain in the butt, but hadn’t she always trained so she could push herself this far?
"Hey, if I can’t even do this much, then I ought to denounce my right to the throne!" Kira grunted over the line. "Besides, Kyle and the rest of his team should be arriving any minute now, right?"
She took a short breath before continuing.
"But what I really wanted to ask is... what should we do with this place? The captives said they were running some kind of illegal manufacturing operation down here. I was planning to seize everything as evidence, but they’re insisting that direct contact with the raw materials is completely lethal."
"Lethal?!"
The blonde standing right beside Luca, who’d already been worried sick about Kyle, suddenly had an entirely new layer of terror dumped onto him.
Ollie’s back snapped straight as his eyes widened into enormous saucers.
Then, after only a moment of deep contemplation, he practically screamed into the comms.
"Run away from there! "
"What?! What’s wrong?!" Kira immediately snapped back, startled by the sheer panic in his voice.
Princess Kira, who’d always been far more comfortable dealing with fists than tactical booms, couldn’t understand what the mop-headed noble was suddenly freaking out about.
Unfortunately, Ollie was already waving his arms frantically.
"As stupid as I am, if were a terrorist, I’d blow that whole shit up the moment I realized I was fucked!"
"!!!"
And well...
Oliver Mylor wasn’t exactly wrong.
Because at that very moment, deep within the facility, a silent security alarm was continuously vibrating inside a locked cabinet.
It was a simple fail-safe that had to be manually deactivated every few hours to confirm that operations were still proceeding normally.
Unfortunately, the pirate responsible for periodically resetting it was currently battered unconscious and in absolutely no condition to perform that particular duty.
Which meant the alarm kept going.
And going.
Until eventually, a corresponding warning indicator began flashing across the control console of the pirate responsible for relaying operational problems to the rest of their strike force.
The same strike force currently having the time of their lives hunting down terrified cadets aboveground.
The pilot stared at the warning.
An angry, violent red repeatedly flashed across his screen.
He knew exactly what it meant.
He also knew precisely what he was supposed to do next.
Sound the alarm.
Rally the others.
Return to the facility and execute the emergency cleanup procedures they’d been given.
Instead...
The pirate slowly turned away from the flashing warning and continued flying toward his next target.
Because perhaps, after such a long chase...
Today had finally become the opportunity they’d all been waiting for.

Itching to pace back and forth but trying his best not to alarm the other cadets, Luca almost wished he could just pull the battleships down himself.
He desperately wanted them to land already so they could get inside, reclaim their space buttons from the proctors, release their biomechas, and immediately rush toward their friends!
Ollie’s hypothesis alone had been alarming enough, especially when the rescued captives confirmed that some kind of complete destruction protocol didn’t sound impossible considering the people who’d imprisoned them.
Regrettably, that wasn’t even their only problem.
They needed to evacuate everyone they could as quickly as possible, particularly after discovering just how those terrorists, along with all those captives, had managed to reach Caldris Minor-7 in the first place!
The rescued victims couldn’t properly identify what they’d traveled through. However, based on their descriptions, Xavier theorized that it had to be some kind of controlled spatial rift.
Not quite a wormhole, but something much closer to the Crown Prince’s own spatial ability.
After all, a naturally occurring wormhole couldn’t simply exist deep inside another planet. The extreme conditions required to form one were precisely why the artificial wormholes pirates sometimes used were notoriously unreliable and dangerous, since they were essentially forcing much smaller spatial tunnels into existence.
But that only made the situation worse.
Because the terrifying part wasn’t simply that these people had found an alternative to the already problematic illegal wormholes.
It was the fact that whatever method they’d used had gone
And according to the captives, fresh reinforcements had arrived through that exact same method only the other day!
If that was true, then the Empire needed to put a blanket block in place to prevent unauthorized entry to Caldris Minor-7 as soon as possible.
The only problem was that doing so came with an enormous risk.
The moment those encompassing EMP-like barriers were deployed around the planet to prevent more pirates from slipping through that mysterious rift, the battleships currently trying to retrieve the cadets wouldn’t be able to freely enter or leave either.
But leaving the planet exposed wasn’t an acceptable option.
Not when the enemy had apparently found a way to create an undetected gateway that could potentially let them breach deep into Imperial territory!
Really, none of this sounded good.
Then again...
That was only because Luca and the others hadn’t yet heard what the Elders were right in the middle of discovering.
All while being babysat by one increasingly troubled Killian Nox.
