The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1273: Got Milk?

More dungeon runs?
Most definitely so.
In fact, if it were entirely up to Luca, they probably would’ve gone again the moment he saw all those wonderful goodies!
Granted, the golden-eyed cadet hadn’t even managed to open the reward chest they’d received earlier, nor had he used any of the vouchers included in their first bonus.
But that wasn’t because he’d forgotten about them!
No.
Those vouchers simply required a considerable amount of time spent carefully browsing through the Trove if they wanted to make every single one count. And considering just how many things were available there, Luca absolutely refused to waste something so valuable by choosing too quickly.
Even so, that did absolutely nothing to lessen how intensely stoked he was about receiving more!
Honestly, even if the list had stopped at the very first item, the already grateful dungeon owner would’ve still celebrated over the additional Corruption Points alone.
They’d earned so much that day that the little money-grubber couldn’t help but entertain the fleeting thought that maybe, just maybe, the Bridge was just as severely misunderstood as he used to be.
At this point, perhaps it really was the Bridge that kept on giving!
And even if, in the end, only he and D-64 remained among the few people oddly fascinated with the structure, Luca felt it would only be right to make sure the poor thing got polished every now and then.
After all, it had already become the source of so many great things! From earning them funds through vending to giving them a place to train their abilities and even helping trigger his good brother’s awakening, Luca could only wonder what else such a glorious thing might eventually bring!
More importantly, what they had just received had already gone far beyond anything they’d expected.
They’d known from the beginning that the chances of those repeating the simulation receiving the same clearance rewards again were practically nonexistent. Considering how valuable the rewards from their first clear had been, the thought of being able to repeatedly farm them wouldn’t make sense even for a Bridge that had so far proven surprisingly generous.
And sure enough, the repeaters hadn’t received another copy of those rewards.
The first-timers, however?
To everyone’s surprise, they still received the exact same prompt the rest of the group had gotten during their earlier clear.
[LEGENDARY CLEARANCE REWARDS:]
[Access to D-Class Level]
[High-Grade Spiritual Energy Crystal x1]
[Random Crystal Core Voucher x1]
[Title Acquired: Legendary Challenger]
"!"
But ultimately, it was an extremely welcome surprise, especially when the main reason they’d brought everyone through the E-Class simulation in the first place was to ensure they could all gain access to the next level and, hopefully, enter future simulations together.
Right.
That had initially been the norm for most dungeon-related things.
After all, aside from redeeming their own vouchers, there really hadn’t been many opportunities for anyone other than Luca or D-29 to make choices involving the dungeon. Without Luca sharing the prompts, they couldn’t even see most of them, save for the ones clearly hell-bent on terrorizing everyone.
Oddly enough, however, something seemed to have shifted after they cleared the E-Class dungeon simulation.
And strangely, none of them might’ve even noticed if a certain someone hadn’t "pointed" it out.

"!"
Luca was suddenly filled with pure awe at his good brother’s determination!
Because despite everything Ollie had just gone through, the literally fried mop practically marched straight toward the gate, still completely buried beneath that ridiculously thick protective suit, while loudly announcing that he needed to train more and become more cooperative with his ability.
Therefore, he wanted to know exactly when they were going next so he could mentally prepare.
The blonde had even tried to place both hands dramatically on his waist, which proved considerably more difficult than expected when the absurd amount of padding around his body barely allowed his arms to bend properly.
Unfortunately, before Ollie could successfully achieve the pose, the gate suddenly activated.
"!"
A glowing holographic prompt flared to life directly in front of him.

"!!!"
The startled mop practically jumped out of his protective suit!
Immediately, Ollie wrapped both arms tightly around himself, terrified that even one stray finger might accidentally touch something.
Because imagine if he somehow launched another dungeon instance right now?!
Sure, Oliver Mylor had every intention of getting a proper handle on his newly discovered ability.
He’d even steeled himself to stop complaining so much!
But he definitely hadn’t meant right second!
And certainly not alone!
However, when the blonde redirected his horrified gaze away from the holographic prompt and toward everyone else, particularly his good brother, Ollie discovered something that made his heart sink even further.
Why did everyone look so excited?!
"Wow, Brother!" Luca exclaimed, his golden eyes practically sparkling with boundless delight. "It seems you can actually run an instance on your own!"
"No!"
Ollie’s response came so quickly that it practically echoed.
"Wait! I’m telling you, Brother! It can’t just be me! Not me of all people!"
Luca blinked.
His expression immediately softened with understanding.
Sure enough, his good brother was always like this.
So humble!
Always doubting his own greatness!
Meanwhile, Ollie could only stare at him in growing horror because that was most definitely not what he meant!
Worse, several people standing behind Luca had suddenly developed suspiciously predatory expressions after realizing that, with Oliver Mylor around, they now had someone else who could open the gate for their training sessions instead of relying entirely on Luca.
Thankfully, much to the answered prayers of one increasingly terrified blonde, further testing soon revealed that Ollie wasn’t actually the only one capable of activating it.
The Bridge appeared willing to recognize anyone who’d already cleared the simulation before.
Of course, with nearly everyone present having participated in the clear, they couldn’t be completely certain that was actually the requirement. So they brought someone else over to test their theory.
Sure enough, when little Isabelle stood before the gate, the same holographic prompt appeared.
But when they coaxed Tortie over with the appropriate bribe and placed him in front of it afterward, nothing happened. Despite the two being somewhat similar in nature, the options remained grayed out.
Well, that was definitely nifty.
It meant that aside from having to bring Tortie along for a run one of these days, they wouldn’t have to keep bothering Luca whenever they wanted to revisit simulations they’d already cleared.
Unfortunately, as useful as that discovery happened to be, it also created an entirely different problem.
The children.
Because the moment the adults realized that anyone recognized by the Bridge could potentially activate another instance, they made it extremely clear that none of the little ones were allowed to run one by themselves just yet.
D-29 and D-64 were even instructed to issue a stern warning whenever any of them attempted to get suspiciously close to the gate without supervision.
Predictably, the Princesses weren’t pleased.
Apparently, they’d already developed grand plans involving secret training sessions so they could become the great heroes of justice they were clearly destined to be!
Still, after enough explaining, the adults at least managed to convince the sulking human and elven children that perhaps charging into dangerous dungeon simulations without supervision wasn’t the greatest idea.
Naturally, the little girls had an argument ready.
How were they supposed to become strong enough to fight bad guys if nobody let them train against any?!
Unfortunately, that particular argument put the adults in a rather difficult position. Not only would telling the children to wait until they were older make practically everyone present a massive hypocrite, since most of them hadn’t exactly followed that advice when they were young, but the children also had a point: the rigorous training sessions for their older siblings had started at around the same age. No wonder the adults suddenly found the surroundings much more interesting.
So after realizing that line of reasoning wasn’t going to get them anywhere, the adults wisely shifted the discussion toward something much harder to argue against.
Logistics.
Long-distance running?
Nope.
Extremely high jumps?
Nope.
Standing on their own two legs for the entire simulation without eventually needing to be carried?
Also nope.
"..."
Unexpectedly, it was a complete defeat for the would-be heroes of justice.
Faced with the unfortunate reality of their short, stubby legs, the little girls finally conceded to training with a group of adults, though not without solemnly vowing to drink lots and lots of milk after Luca helpfully suggested it might make them grow taller.
Ah yes, if it was him who suggested it, then it must really be so!
But then the momentarily revitalized little babies looked at the rather unimpressive height of the person giving them that advice.
Luca looked down at himself too.
"..."
"..."
"..."
All three promptly deflated.
Clearly, milk hadn’t worked particularly well for the great Chipmunk either.
