The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1266: Problem Solved?

Luca’s voice immediately pulled the deep-in-thought giant right back to reality, only for Xavier to become instantly startled.
Because what on Solaris did he mean by
Was he going over to the living plasma globe?
Alas, that was exactly what Luca meant.
Because his plan apparently involved emulating his good brother’s bloodline ability in the hopes of studying it himself!
"What?!"
Xavier rasped, realizing he’d apparently zoned out far too much earlier!
Because now his little chipmunk was standing there looking all plump from what was objectively an absurd number of protective layers piled onto his body, yet somehow still nowhere near enough as far as Xavier was concerned!
Luca was basically enveloped in the latest arc-rated and flame-resistant gear, heavy-insulation dielectric footwear, and silver-threaded equalization layers meant to balance electrical potential. He was extremely well wrapped, standing at attention, looking all cute and ready to go with practically nothing but a tiny patch of one finger exposed as he gave Xavier a confident thumbs-up to show off his readiness!
"..."
The wolfish husband, who couldn’t believe what he’d somehow missed, desperately wanted to know who in their right mind thought any of this was safe!
At that moment, Xavier was fully aware that, for once, he’d be in complete agreement with his father-in-law, who definitely wouldn’t have entertained anything this crazy!
And sure enough, Duke Leander had a lot to say about the matter.
Or at least, he would’ve had a lot to say if the Duchess wasn’t currently blocking his mouth with one hand as she stepped in to explain.
"Unfortunately, this volunteer right here," Amelia began, inclining her head toward her still-muffled husband before continuing, "isn’t capable of emulating abilities. And even I’m not able to do it the way our son does. Because of that, Luca insisted on going himself, saying it would be much worse if Ollie ended up completely drained and exhausted."
Xavier’s expression changed slightly.
"According to Luca, that’s the fastest way to make someone more likely to inch toward a rampage," Amelia continued. "And he couldn’t possibly let that happen to his brother."
"..."
The Imperial Prince heard that and flinched despite not wanting to.
What Luca was planning was dangerous.
And Xavier wasn’t only saying that because, as his husband, he thought even tiny bugs were dangerous to Luca despite his little chipmunk being objectively stronger than him!
This time, he was saying it completely objectively.
Because who was to say Luca wouldn’t end up continuously discharging just like Oliver Mylor?!
And if the dungeon owner, with the astronomical amount of spiritual energy he naturally possessed, started sending out sparks...
Just how much more potent would those sparks be?!
But at the same time, Xavier couldn’t bring himself to stop Luca from doing what he wanted, especially when doing so might only leave his wife helplessly watching someone suffer through that terrible thing called a rampage right in front of him.
His beloved didn’t need another horrific scene like that in his life.
Unfortunately, he was also the only affinity user currently equipped with the right ability to make sure it never came to that.
"..."
Was this the unexpected problem of having such an exceptionally competent partner?!
Xavier had always figured it would be best to have a match who wouldn’t fold beneath the heavy responsibilities associated with being the next monarch.
But never did he imagine that he’d somehow end up with the completely opposite problem of getting an overachieving and extremely involved one!
Worse, Xavier had never really imagined himself becoming the kind of husband who wanted to put his little wife inside a protective bubble where said wife could simply rest, have fun while remaining completely safe, and maybe even draw all sorts of cu—questionable things!
Because if it were entirely up to Xavier, Luca certainly wouldn’t be standing out there thinking about touching a literal live wire.
And happily doing so at that?!
His heart...
This sort of karma was really something else.
If Xavier didn’t naturally have white hair, he probably would’ve ended up with it regardless!
__
Safe to say, he wasn’t the only one.
For not only Xavier, but practically every other sane being around would’ve likely developed the exact same problem as they braced themselves in the relative safety of the underground floors of the dungeon space.
Because as much as they wanted to stay as close to Luca as possible, doing so would probably just end with everyone fighting over beds in the medical bay.
And what do you know?
They were completely right to keep their distance.
Because the moment the brothers, who’d only been separated by a few meters, finally reunited, they did so as tearfully as if they’d been apart for years.
Never mind that they’d been able to see each other the entire time and had even spent most of it waving at each other like a pair of war-torn siblings.
But more importantly, and far more urgently, their dramatic reunion immediately gave everyone a chance to see exactly what Ollie’s potential might look like if he ever possessed Luca Kyros’ body!
And apparently, it was a sight terrifying enough to solve their original problem almost instantly.
In that short moment when they stood beside each other, Ollie could’ve sworn he saw his brother’s golden eyes get replaced by blinding, solid beams of light right before Luca started discharging an immense amount of energy from that one exposed finger!
The air crackled violently as thick, blinding tendrils of electricity arced out in every direction, lighting up the entire clearing like some sort of miniature sun.
"!!!"
One particularly massive arc suddenly zipped straight toward Ollie.
The blonde’s eyes went wide as saucers when he saw it coming.
It was going to hit him dead-on!
But instead of meeting his ancestors right at the cusp of his young and supposedly colorful life, a deafening pop echoed across the clearing as the digital indicators on the nearby battery unit shot upward in a frantic blur, only to hit maximum capacity almost instantly!
Luca, realizing just how intense that discharge had been, immediately panicked!
He tried to wrangle the emulated ability while manifesting layer upon layer of thick protective spiritual barriers, encasing Ollie inside a dense shield of his own despite knowing that his brother ideally possessed some degree of electroimmunity.
But apparently, the sheer terrifying flash of light and the blinding surge of electricity accompanying that arc had still been a little too much for the blonde.
Ollie’s entire nervous system seemed to short itself out.
His already suffering mop of hair suddenly puffed outward into one gigantic, smoking ’do right before his eyes rolled back and he quietly passed out cold!
"..."
"..."
And just like that, Oliver Mylor’s sparking escapade finally came to an end.
Meanwhile, the resident emulator could only blink innocently as he carefully used his spiritual barrier to soften his brother’s increasingly dramatic descent until Ollie slowly sagged all the way to the ground.
"Oops..." he squeaked.
The heavily wrapped Guide rubbed his gloved hands together, belatedly thinking that maybe...
Maybe that hadn’t been such a great idea after all.
But hey!
At least his good brother wasn’t discharging anymore, right?
