Ye Xuan's father, Ye Mingtian, arrives and reunites with his son. While talking, they discover they both had the same plan regarding Saint Heir Qianjue. With the Great Ruins behind them, Ye Xuan and his father depart for the Xuan Sect to discuss the imminent opening of the Emperor Road, a significant event that signals the end of the Dharma Era.

In approximately five to six years, the Heavenly Dao Suppression will finally vanish.

A period of great prosperity will then descend upon all the Heavens and Myriads of Worlds.

As twilight descends, a luminous moon casts its glow upon a vast, flowing river.

Across the roiling waters, three figures move with incredible speed.

Approaching the river's end, a colossal waterfall, stretching for miles, plunges downwards, creating a breathtaking spectacle beneath the moonlight.

The trio arrives above this magnificent cascade.

A man clad in black robes, appearing to be in his thirties, extends a hand and gestures towards the empty air.

At his fingertips, ripples spread outwards, much like a stone dropped into a tranquil pond.

In the moonlit void, a circular gate slowly materializes.

Beyond this portal, a surge of boundless Heaven and Earth Essence Qi can be felt.

"Let us pass," the black-robed man declared.

Ye Mingtian steps forward first, crossing the threshold of the round gate, his form vanishing in an instant.

Ye Xuan and the Ancestor Qiankun follow close behind.

The moment the three figures disappear, the circular gate dissipates as well.

Concurrently, Ye Xuan and the others find themselves within an ancient, mystical realm.

Towering Immortal Mountains float amidst swirling clouds and mists, interconnected by ethereal Divine Bridges.

On certain peaks, waterfalls defy gravity, flowing upwards.

Within the cloud-shrouded Yun Shan, graceful Immortal Cranes take flight, and wondrous Auspicious Beasts roam freely.

Magnificent pavilions and structures adorn the landscape, exuding an aura of splendor.

This vision stretches as far as the eye can see, radiating an undeniable Immortal aura.

This is the very location of the Xuan Sect.

Although seemingly situated within Xuanzhou, the Xuan Sect paradoxically exists in its own separate dimension, a world unto itself.

It bears resemblance to the Immortal King Hall or the Supreme Pavilion in its grand design.

"Little Xuan, this is the Xuan Sect," Ye Mingtian announced with a warm smile.

"To be perfectly honest, the very first time I set foot in the Xuan Sect, I was utterly astonished, marveling at the existence of such a wondrous place in this world."

Ye Mingtian observed Ye Xuan's composed demeanor and couldn't help but feel a slight deflation, murmuring, "Ah, well, it's perhaps pointless to explain this to you."

Noticing his father's subtly discouraged tone, Ye Xuan chuckled, reassuring him, "Actually, I was quite taken aback when I first arrived here as well."

From behind, Ancestor Qiankun muttered under his breath, *I recall Master nearly engaging in combat with all the Xuan Sect's ancestors during his initial visit. Astonished, my foot!*

Naturally, Ancestor Qiankun would never voice such a thought in the presence of his master's father, lest it cause embarrassment.

Oblivious to these thoughts, Ye Mingtian's smile returned upon hearing his son's admission of surprise, and he joyfully recounted, "The Auspicious Beasts of the Xuan Sect are incredibly delicious; back in the day, I couldn't resist hunting a few Immortal Cranes and Qilins. Seasoned with a bit of Wan’an City barbecue spice, it was simply divine!

What was truly frustrating, however, was how the old guardians of the Xuan Sect would throw fits and confine me within the Thousand Autumn Land.

It’s important you know, the Thousand Autumn Land within the Xuan Sect is the most time-dilating place. While a year might pass in the outside world, within its confines, millennia, even eons, could transpire."

As he spoke, Ye Mingtian’s expression grew somewhat sentimental.

*Casual remarks often carry hidden meanings.* the listeners should pay heed.

Ye Xuan, upon hearing this, inquired softly, "Is this the reason why Father never managed to make it onto the Mystic Yellow List?"

Ye Mingtian paused for a moment before laughing, "Truthfully, that might very well be the case. Otherwise, with your father's innate talent, I would have secured a top spot on that list ages ago.

It feels quite liberating now, not having to tread the Emperor Road."

Ye Mingtian chuckled at his own situation.

Ye Xuan then asked with a smile, "Father, did you walk the Emperor Road within the Thousand Autumn Land?"

He understood that the Thousand Autumn Land was a sacred ground within the Xuan Sect, where the flow of time was exceptionally volatile. It could continuously warp space, leading to unknown dimensions, and even allow one to traverse through time via dreams.

Ye Mingtian pondered Ye Xuan's question, replying, "That seems about right. Moreover, I feel I am not suited for the path of the Emperor Road...

As he spoke, Ye Mingtian drew his Broadsword, softly articulating, "My Dao does not rely on destiny."

Ye Xuan, appearing thoughtful, nodded slightly, stating, "It's not a bad thing to not follow the Emperor Road. Otherwise, the opportunities presented along the Emperor Road would be monopolized by us, father and son."

Ye Mingtian let out a hearty laugh.

Ye Xuan was not surprised by his father's choice.

He remembered his father once saying that destiny was not necessarily a blessing.

This was understandable, as ascending to the status of Emperor required one to embrace destiny.

It was similar to when Ye Xuan himself shattered the Destiny Golden Dragon bestowed by the Heavenly Dao; he truly had no desire to accept the favor of this world.

The world operates on principles of fairness.

For every gain, there is an inevitable price to pay.

The greater the gain, the heavier the cost.

Should the Heavenly Dao decide to retaliate, no one could possibly withstand its might.

As his father had wisely put it, his Dao was not bound by destiny.

While the world's cultivators traverse the Emperor Road to sense and connect with destiny, Ye Xuan embarks on it solely to seize the opportunities it offers.

Concerning destiny and such matters, Ye Xuan found them entirely unnecessary. This applied even to his guidance of those with rebellious aptitudes within the Revenge Lineage. Consider the chief of the Undying Pavilion, Qi Changsheng, for instance. He never trod the Emperor Road nor relied on destiny, yet he forcefully carved his path into the Great Emperor Realm. It was truly a terrifying feat. The father's path bears a striking resemblance to this. His cultivation, as well as all his advancements, originated from the Dou Tian Divine Domain. This unique foundation sets him apart from everyone else.

"Little Xuan, the Emperor Road is reopening now, emerging in those smaller worlds; the Xuanhuang Great World will also appear soon. Do you have any plans?" Ye Mingtian inquired as they walked, observing Ye Xuan.

A grin spread across Ye Xuan's face as he softly replied, "To sweep the Emperor Road."

Ye Mingtian halted for a moment before laughing heartily, repeatedly exclaiming, "That’s my son!"

Subsequently, Ye Mingtian's smile faded, his expression turning solemn as he spoke in a hushed tone, "However, Little Xuan, there is something I must impart to you; this Emperor Road will be vastly different this time! The perils upon it are significantly greater than in previous eras. Even those in the Quasi-Emperor Realm will face mortal danger traversing it. You must exercise extreme caution."

Upon hearing this, Ye Xuan offered a slight smile and responded, "Rest assured, Father. I believe you can infer some of my previous experiences."

Ye Mingtian chuckled, "That is indeed the case."

The two engaged in extended conversations late into the night within Wan’an City. Ye Mingtian was well aware that his son's Life Soul had undergone numerous extraordinary trials. In certain respects, Little Xuan might even possess more knowledge than his own father.

"I shall escort you to the Thousand Autumn Land," Ye Mingtian stated directly, cutting to the chase. "You must hasten to perform the Sacrificial Refinement on the Immortal Treasure; this will ensure you don't miss the optimal window for ascending the Emperor Road."

While Ye Xuan had not explicitly mentioned it, Ye Mingtian's sharp intellect allowed him to foresee this necessity.

"Father is truly wise," Ye Xuan said with a smile, offering a bit of flattery.

Ye Mingtian responded with a cunning grin, "Not at all, I feel that Little Xuan is the more formidable one."

With their arms slung over each other's shoulders, the father and son exuded a palpable sense of shared camaraderie and mischief.

Qiankun Ancestor observed them from behind, a slight grimace crossing his features. However, his gaze soon shifted past them, fixing intently on the Xuan Sect. A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he inwardly scoffed, "Those old geezers in the Xuan Sect are truly oblivious."
