The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1716: Elemental Tower

Travelling with Maneli turned out to be rather pleasant.

First of all, they weren't attacked, not even once. It was all thanks to the fact that Maneli was a Primordial, and so no sane beast dared challenge someone like that.

Even if the beast was insane, they had senses, and they could sense that Maneli was in a league of his own, so ignoring him and his travel companions was the best possible move they could make.

The second, and perhaps the most important, was the knowledge he possessed. He offered to trade information with Kaden, so they could both share knowledge of their worlds.

Kaden would share knowledge of the Primus Universe and information about the Elemental Garden. This trade was fair to Kaden, who had lived several lives, so he had more than enough information to give.

Because of this trade, every second was spent talking, and by the time Kaden knew it, a week had passed.

Within those seven days, he had learned that there were four cities and 12 domains in the Elemental Garden. Dunsil City, which they were headed to, was ruled by King Xzeth, while Gaukin City was ruled by King Arshan.

But aside from these two, there was another called Blood City, ruled by the Blood Prince, as many called him. Maneli didn't know his real name, but he knew he was as dangerous as they came...

He ruled a city full of criminals and tyrants, many of whom had already reached a level of power that nobody would dare underestimate.

The 4th city, and from what Maneli said, happened to be one of the strongest in the Elemental Garden. It was Harmony, ruled by the Black Flame Dragon Queen.

From what he revealed, the Black Flame Dragon Queen had been here since the Primordial Era, or at least that was what he had managed to gather about her.

She was powerful, and perhaps one of the people Kaden shouldn't dare offend while he was here.

As for the other domains, one was the Ant Desert, ruled by the seven Ant Ancestors. Out of the seven of them, five were Primordial Flame Spirits, with him being the third strongest, hence his title, the Third Ant Ancestor.

Then there was the Bleeding Kingdom, which was ruled by the 9 Blood Monarchs.

He had already killed one and turned one into a puppet. But they weren't the strongest. Blood Savage was merely the 8th strongest, with the Blood Hound he had killed being the 9th strongest.

There were five Primordials that, if he had met even a single one of them, he would have cried and called for his mama.

But there were other domains, including the Undying Garden, said to be one of the most dangerous places in all of the Elemental Garden.

The Three Elemental Sea was also one of the domains.

He vaguely revealed all 12 domains, but what caught Kaden's attention after seven days of non-stop conversation was the mention of the Elemental Tower.

"This Elemental Tower, what can you tell me about it?" Kaden asked, still en route to their destination.

"Oh, that place... well, it is the most sacred place in all of the Elemental Garden. A very long time ago, a being whose existence, to this very day, remains elusive lived in that tower.

After he left, it was revealed that by climbing the various floors, one not only gains a deeper understanding of the elemental laws and Daos, but one can also gain an understanding of the Elemental Origin Laws.

I can personally confirm that, since I am one of the few to have reached the 50th floor and comprehended the Law of Origin. It was how I managed to transcend and become a Primordial."

"Sounds like a very important place," Kaden said, and Maneli nodded.

"It sure is. From what I know of the owner of the Elemental Tower, he was the creator of this entire world. You can only imagine the kind of existence he was and how valuable a treasure he left behind would be."

Kaden couldn't help but nod at Maneli's words.

"Then how many floors are there in this tower, and who has managed to climb to the last floor?"

"Climb to the last floor?" Maneli laughed, almost as if he had heard the most ridiculous thing ever... "You crack me up, little Kaden. To think you thought there was anyone capable of doing that sure shows how little you know about this place.

Let me enlighten you. The last I checked, the highest anyone had ever climbed was the 70th floor, and that was accomplished by only five people, one of them being King Xzeth. That monster was the fifth to accomplish something like that, hence why I said he is a monster."

"Then who are the other four?"

Maneli thought for a moment, then he proceeded to reveal, "One of them is the Black Flame Dragon Queen, the queen of Harmony City. Then there is the Red Bone Blood Panther, one of the rulers of the Bleeding Kingdom.

The fourth is the Red Lotus Guardian, the main overlord of the Three Elemental Sea, and the last is the Ancient Undead Monarch, the overlord of the Undying Garden.

Of course, many have reached the 69th floor, but these five are the only ones to have reached the 70th floor, and their gains have set them apart from the rest of us.

I myself have tried five times and only managed to reach the 60th floor on my fifth trial. I cannot try again for the next 100,000 years. But you can already tell the Elemental Tower isn't a place to mess around."

Kaden listened to all Maneli had said, and for a moment, he felt like he had to go see this tower for himself. Maneli also sensed his desire and advised him.

"Not to look down on you. The Elemental Stars know looking down on you would be a huge mistake. But buddy, unless King Xzeth personally takes you there, getting within a million miles of the Elemental Tower will be a miracle, especially when you aren't even a god."

Kaden sighed... Three days later, Dunsil City came into view.
