Previously on The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse...
Klaus reunites with General Castta and General Brenna. Castta reveals his connection to Klaus as Sayuri's brother, and Brenna expresses her past disdain for Klaus, later clarifying she was never truly brainwashed by the Heavens Court. After an exchange of pleasantries and revelations, the generals state their mission: to ensure Klaus does not attack the Heavens Legion. Klaus laughs, dismissing their fears and instead urging them to unite against an impending universal threat and to deal with the demon infestation.

Meeting Castta and Brenna again was surprisingly a pleasant moment for Klaus. He didn’t know he would be happy to meet them again, but now that he did, he was.

Perhaps it was because he was seeing General Brenna in a new light, the sole reason his mood brightened. Seeing her smile when she learned about Mark made Klaus happy because at least, finally, Mark could have a big sister who didn’t look down on him.

The past can remain in the past.

Of course, despite Mark saying he wasn’t bothered by the past, Klaus could tell he was telling lies. He knew how much Mark had longed to have a family of his own in the past.

So this improvement would help him, and regardless of the outcome, there is no telling whether the family he had longed for would finally become a reality.

Well, he already has the Paragon family as his own, so there is nothing standing in his way.

But sometimes, blood speaks louder than anything, so he is happy for his pal.

As for General Castta, he is thrilled to have learned more about his sister.

He planned to go see her, but for now, they had to make sure this white flag with the Paragon became something that would cement the start of an alliance that had existed during the Primordial and Divine Eras.

They were once allies, and now they are on track to become so once again.

Maybe it wouldn’t be as strong as before, but at least not gutting each other is an improvement.

After hours of back and forth, they finally brought the meeting and the unexpected reunion to an end, and the two Heavens Generals had to leave.

"It is good to see you again, Paragon. Tell Mark and Big Brother Matthew I said hi," General Brenna said, a smile playing on her face.

"They will hear. But don’t inform your old man and the others of their rebirth yet. I want them to find out the shocking way, especially your old man."

General Brenna nodded.

"I look forward to seeing them again."

Klaus nodded and turned to General Castta, who also smiled and shook Klaus’s hand. "I will go see Sayuri and apologize again. But before that, thank you for everything, Big Brother."

"Don’t worry about it, Castta. We are family after all."

The happy brat who had once tried to kill the Paragon smiled and nodded. "That is true. We are a family."

After a few farewells, their ship left Planet Nexarion. They would contact later after informing the rest of the Heavens Generals.

"It is nice to see you are not all mortal enemies with the Heavens Court," Ember smiled, hugging Klaus from behind. Now that the two Generals had left, she could be herself again.

"Mortal enemies, you say?" Klaus laughed. "I have friends too, friends much closer to the inner circle than you think." He turned around and faced Ember.

"I haven’t spent multiple lives for nothing," he smirked and said jokingly. "You would be shocked by how many spies I have even in your Warrior Temple."

He laughed, and Ember narrowed her eyes. For a moment, she tried to brush off his words, but recalling how Klaus was rather close with General Castta, her eyes narrowed further.

She tried to grab his ear, but Klaus slipped away.

PAH

He landed a slap on her butt and ran off, causing Ember to pout and run after him, her butt jiggling with every step she took.

Klaus may be having a good time, but Kaden is not... at least not in the ways he would have loved.

"Pickle Berry, go help Jane," Kaden shouted, his left arm forming complex hand seals while his right stabbed a spear forward, meeting the claws of a hound dripping with blood and malice.

At first, one would think the 40-meter-tall hound had been severely injured by Kaden. But a closer look would reveal that the blood dripping from it was actually the hound powering up...

Neither Kaden nor any of his teammates knew this day would come.

They had been travelling along the borders of the Bleeding Kingdom and the Ant Desert, doing their best to remain as inconspicuous as ever.

For the first month, it worked out well for them.

They didn’t meet even a single Blood Savage or an Ant Beast. However, that started to change when they entered the second month of their travel.

At first, it was small groups of Blood Savages in their humanoid forms. Those battles weren’t difficult since killing them was as simple as a swing of his hand.

They were Demigods, so they placed no emphasis on them.

But as the days went by, things started to change. They began encountering God-level Blood Savages, then Supremes, until the Celestials finally came.

Yet again, they didn’t panic or find themselves in danger since they also had power on their side. The Primordial Flame Spirits aren’t as weak as one would think...

So, encountering these Blood Savages turned out to be a good thing for him. He got to absorb so much blood essence from all the kills.

However, what they didn’t know was that, just as there are three races of beasts in the Three Elemental Sea, the Bleeding Kingdom also has different tribes of Blood Savages.

The first they met were the Blood Fiend Zombies. They are vicious, but luckily for them, they didn’t come in hordes, so things turned out to be relatively easy for them.

But after leaving the territory of the Blood Fiend Zombies, they entered the territory of the Blood Hounds.

Naturally, they wouldn’t have had a more dangerous encounter there since, just like with the Blood Fiend Zombies, they planned to sneak around.

Unfortunately for them, the Blood Hounds and a region of the Ant Desert were at war. This caused the Blood Hounds to become heavily concentrated along their borders.

Of course, Jane was able to get a read on this, but they underestimated the power of the Bleeding Kingdom and its various tribes.

Kaden and his people didn’t know that by killing the Blood Fiend Zombies, their scent had remained on them, and as it happened, the Blood Hounds hated the Blood Fiend Zombies.

So, sensing their smell, they came in their numbers. Kaden and his people tried to retreat, but it was already too late.

Now, they were locked in battle with close to 500 Blood Hounds, the weakest at the True God stage.

Kaden had found himself locked in deadly combat with three Celestial-level Blood Hounds. All around him, his teammates were also doing their best to hold back the rest of the Blood Hounds.

But to win, Kaden knew he had to kill the three Blood Hounds since they were the most dangerous on the battlefield.

Jane, who had been itching for a fight over the last couple of weeks, now found herself besieged by another Celestial-level Blood Hound.

She is only a Universal God, so fighting a Celestial is just out of her league. But she isn’t at a disadvantage. In fact, she is more than happy to have found herself in such a situation.

In her own words, she wants to feel alive.

But Kaden doesn’t want feelings; he wants results, so Pickle Berry and she would have to work together.

The problem now was how he would kill three Celestials in five minutes since Icon had informed him that a Pseudo-Primordial was on the way.

’I really don’t want to use this move just yet...’
