The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1634: The Real Paragon
Previously on The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse...
The shock that had gripped everyone was so overwhelming that many who had already suspected Klaus was the Paragon from the start began cursing him with every profane word they could think of.
Initially, everyone called Klaus the Paragon, but only a few actually believed it. However, later, they all started doubting themselves.
Now, it appeared they had been right all along.
However, everyone seemed to take this revelation not as a bad thing but as a haunting reminder that whatever Klaus was about to say was the truth, so much so that he had to reveal his true identity to earn their attention and trust.
Klaus smiled handsomely and said,
"I apologise for the deception, but I had to do that in order to get close to the Heavens Court and find out what they had been doing all this time. Thankfully, I was able to uncover what had been eluding me for years, and I will soon reveal it.
You all should know that many of my people died trying to figure out what this universe had become, so whatever I am about to say isn’t something that can be brushed aside."
He took a deep breath and continued...
"It all began during the Primordial Era when news reached us that an external race called the Void Beasts would be invading this universe. When the news reached us, we all took up arms, ready to defend the universe.
Within that alliance, the newly formed Heavens Court, led by the Grand Lightning Spear King, Celyddon, called a meeting, which I, the Paragon of the Nine Stars, attended.
Aside from me, Lord Magnus of the Blood Magnus Vampire Clan and his brother, Sungmin, were also present, among others.
Now, let’s move away from what happened at that meeting and talk about what happened after we finally managed to save the universe from the Void Beasts.
In that battle, the Blood Magnus Vampire Clan performed remarkably well; had it not been for them, the universe would have fallen during the Primordial Era.
However, while they were risking their lives, the youngest heir of their clan was conspiring behind closed doors with an enemy who, since the Blood Era, had been the true master of this universe."
Many gasped again, but Klaus wasn’t done.
"His name was Axarax, a being whose true purpose was to conquer this universe and feed its core to his master, who would soon be attacking this universe if he failed.
This young heir brought about the downfall of his entire clan, and he personally killed his father, Lord Magnus, one of the greatest warriors this universe has ever known.
By the time I found out what had happened, it was already too late. I missed my chance to get revenge, and that was the first time I failed to become the protector the universe had brought me here to be.
During the Divine Era, this heir, with the support of this Axarax fellow, rallied the gods to suppress the universe, but they were stopped. After that battle, everything changed, and since then, it has been one failure after another for me.
I came close many times to stopping him, but he used puppets like the demons to stop me on multiple occasions. And yes, the demons are working for the Celestial Supreme without even knowing it."
Klaus laughed.
"I will soon show videos to prove everything I have just said."
Far away in the Demon Universe, every last demon frowned.
"Now, why am I saying all these things?" Klaus snapped his fingers, and an image appeared. "This man is called Elorm, the Celestial Supreme, a vampire and the last remaining member of the Blood Magnus Vampire Clan.
"He is also the greatest traitor this universe has ever known and someone who, just a few hours ago, performed a ritual that finally allowed the greatest threat that had plagued this universe to enter it."
Klaus snapped his fingers again, and a video appeared. The footage showed the moments when the Celestial Supreme met with the mysterious figure and discussed his plans.
Another video showed him ordering that the people he planned to use his vessel be brought to him so he could finally appear in this universe. In yet another, the Celestial Supreme declared that he would become the strongest once his master returned.
Lastly, the recording of the ceremony Klaus had been waiting for began to play, and by the time it ended, everyone had turned pale.
"The Void Beasts came because of this Axarax, and he was also the same person who opened the way for the Foreign Race. In fact, you could even say the Foreign Race is an army the Celestial Supreme intended to use to rise above what he believed was his birthright.
However, I already have plans to stop them all, so none of you should panic. What you all should be concerned about is the third invading legion, known as the Calamity Legion. They are far more dangerous and perhaps the only legion none of us can confidently say we are prepared for.
If I could do it alone, I wouldn’t have revealed myself and asked for your support. But even I know when to ask for help, so I ask that every race be prepared to defend its people.
I may be on the front lines with my legion, but I cannot guarantee everyone’s safety.
That said, this is my warning to every Heavens Court advocate. What I have said is true, but it is up to you whether you believe me or ignore it. I know this universe is in danger, and I have been working to protect it because it is my responsibility.
So if you believe me and wish to lend your support, that would be appreciated. However, what I will not tolerate is anyone coming after my friends or me. I am not one to make empty threats, but whoever points their weapon at me will die.
Attacking my friends is crossing the line, so either stay in your lane or go ahead and continue blindly trusting your Celestial Supreme.
All I know is that the Heavens Court has been working for someone who sought to destroy this universe for several eras, and now, he has finally entered our universe."
Klaus sighed before finally revealing,
"The universe will survive the Void Beasts, the Foreign Race, and the Calamity Legion’s invasion. However, after that, the true danger will arrive, and it concerns the fate of the universe itself.
So here is my offer. Every race should be prepared to fight for its people. However, once that battle is over, I want every last army to march under the same banner for the final battle that will determine everything, a war that will be more chaotic than anything we have ever witnessed.
I cannot reveal the details now, but I believe and trust that, before long, everyone will come to realise the danger. Once that happens, you know how to reach me.
Until then, be careful out there, and once again, stand back and watch. Otherwise, don’t say I didn’t warn you."
The feed cut off, leaving everyone stunned and unsure of what to even say.
Suddenly, several notifications appeared on their devices, and all the evidence Klaus had collected over the years was sent to everyone.
As people began reviewing it, horror quickly spread across their faces. It appeared they had been deceived all along, and Klaus had finally opened their eyes.
