Klaus learns about the unique nature of the Primus Universe and the dangers it faces from the Annihilation Clan and Doomsday Lords. He discovers the universe's Origin Dao Seed has been suppressed, threatening its core. Khthon prepares to depart for the Primordial Chaos, promising to aid Klaus and the undead. Meanwhile, Orion experiences a significant boost in his Law affinities and Cosmic Energy comprehension upon Khthon's departure.

The heated atmosphere soon reached its peak, leaving the air charged with tension. However, before things could get out of hand, a calm voice came from the side, dispersing the tension.

"Relax, boys, we are all on the same side here," a lady with a warrior’s build spoke, her voice alone cutting through the tension. She had silver hair, brown eyes, and tan skin.

"Are we really on the same side?" Aragorn, who looked down on Khthon, asked. "The last time I checked, he was among the beings who killed the Universe during the 3rd Reincarnation Cycle. So can he really be trusted, even if he is now an undead?"

Odin sighed, his hand brushing through his beard. "Legolas does have a point. However, I believe we can fight on the same side regardless of our lineage."

The lady who once went by the name Athena, the goddess of warfare, smiled and nodded. "That is indeed true. While his lineage dates back to our enemies, he is now on our side, so we can trust him."

She turned to the green-haired man and asked, "What do you think?"

"I have no issues with him being here. As long as he can be a team player, I wouldn’t mind fighting by his side." Aragorn was one of the human kings who fought in the Great Descent, the battle that heralded the beginning of the 4th Reincarnation Cycle.

He had arms strong enough to wield both a shield and a spear. He was an exceptional fighter and, at the same time, someone whose defense was impenetrable.

"How about you, Wukong?" Odin asked, and the monkey man giggled.

"He is a disciple of my sworn brother’s subordinate, so I have no issues with him being here. Of course, if he turns out to be bad news, then I would swat him like a bug."

He giggled again and lifted his legs, resting them on his chair.

It was said that in the history of the Universe, the only person who didn’t give a fuck about the Heavenly Dao was the Monkey King, San Wukong.

He was called the Great Sage Heaven’s equal during the Primordial Era.

While he was no Paragon, he saw himself as the heavens’ equal, so when the Paragon appeared, they became friends and later sworn brothers.

He turned his head and stared at Khthon, who wore an amused expression as he observed the events unfolding in the room.

Wukong is in his human form, with golden hair and golden eyes. However, even in his human form, the sides of his face were covered with more hair, making it so that, with a single glance, anyone would recognize him as a Monkey Beast.

However, in the room now, he was the second strongest... Second only to the founder of the Universe Guardians.

"Then it is decided. Khthon will become the 7th member of the Universe Guardians." Finally, a man who appeared to be in his late 50s, clad in a pure white cloak, with long red hair and a long red beard, spoke gently as he tapped the table.

Khthon narrowed his eyes at the man for a few moments before laughing. "You guys do know that, aside from Lord Shiva, none of you can take me on, right?"

Wukong smiled and brushed a hand across his hair. "Is that so now?"

Khthon nodded.

"Then if you are that capable, why don’t you prove it for us all to see? Since you are now a Universe Guardian, you are obligated to prevent the Remnants from getting through to the Cosmic Sea, so why don’t you come with me tomorrow to test the waters and see what you can do?"

Khthon said nothing, but it was plain as day that he would be going on that slaughter.

Shiva cleared his throat and spoke, "The cycle is coming to an end, and so, as you all know, the dangers surrounding the Universe will multiply. I have already sensed that a few Primordials have appeared in the Primus Universe. However, while they fight to handle internal issues, we must fight to handle external ones.

"I will stress that we all bring our best because, believe it or not, the tragedy of the past, which resulted in the deaths of the likes of Ares and Zeus, cannot be allowed to repeat itself.

"So, Khthon, follow the Great Sage, Equal to Heaven, to the battlefield tomorrow, and do what you do best."

Khthon nodded, showing the necessary respect to Shiva, who, if Klaus were here today and heard his voice, would widen his eyes.

After all, he had spent years hearing this senior’s voice in his head...

Shiva was the leader of a group of Primordials whom the Universe had given birth to when it decided to bring the Paragon to the Primus Universe.

Their mission was to make sure nothing stopped the Paragon’s descent into this Universe. So they fought, and many died. But in the end, only five of them walked away alive.

After that, the five who survived continued to protect the Universe from external threats, led by the one who had led the battle during the Paragon’s Descent.

Later, when Wukong became a Primordial, they welcomed him, and now it was Khthon’s turn.

Khthon, or more accurately, the person whose bones had been used to create him, had witnessed that battle and thus recognized Shiva as someone worthy of his respect.

So his words were taken to heart.

Among all of them, Shiva was the calmest but also the strongest, so showing him the respect he deserved was only right.

Aragorn, the human king who, after the battle against the Parasite, had retreated to lead the humans for years, sighed and nodded at Shiva’s words.

"We all have work to do, so I will be leaving first. Nice to have you around, Khthon," Aragorn said before vanishing from the room.

Legolas stood up, walked to Khthon’s side, and placed his hand on Khthon’s shoulder. "See you around, undead."

His silver hair fluttered in the air as he vanished from the pagoda, appearing several thousand light-years away. He was an Elf, so naturally, his bow skills were one of a kind.

Athena gave a small nod toward Khthon and also vanished from the room, and soon Odin followed.

"I will be keeping an eye on you, Khthon."

Khthon looked at the one-eyed man and smiled. "I have no doubt."

"The Cosmic Sea is full of dangers but also opportunities. Don’t let your greed cloud your judgment, and don’t let your strength make you arrogant. We once saw ourselves as unbeatable until it happened."

Shiva stood up, gave a simple bow, and vanished from the room, leaving Khthon and Wukong nodding at his words. He was stronger and wiser, so they ought to take his words to heart.

"So, what do you think of my little brother, the Paragon?" Wukong asked, hopping from one chair to another until he was right beside Khthon.

Khthon gave him a scrutinizing gaze, then replied, "He is, as the rumors say, very dangerous. I only spent a few minutes with him, but from what I have observed, he is extremely smart and full of secrets."

Wukong giggled and brushed his furry face. "He sure is a bag of smartness. I can’t wait for the day he arrives here so we can go on another rampage."

Khthon said nothing, but as someone whose very nature made him an annihilator, he became elated, knowing that roaming the Cosmic Sea with this monkey wouldn’t be a bad idea.
