Klaus apologized to Princess Threnody and Grand Elder Xylarae for past transgressions, which they accepted. He then offered to break the curse on their bloodlines, which they agreed to, and then made the same request of him as General Lythariel had. Afterward, Klaus met with Uncle Monk, and they reminisced. Uncle Monk revealed the fates of their fellow monks and his own powerful cultivation, mentioning a great danger to the universe from the Celestial Supreme.

The conversation continued, and in subtle ways, Uncle Monk kept making Klaus aware of some of the things Primordials are capable of.

Primordials cannot speak freely about what goes into becoming a Primordial; it has to be done in subtle ways.

In fact, fighting in this universe as a primordial is strictly prohibited.

Klaus was already aware that from the Immortal stage to the God stage, one must master the Laws to keep growing. He had already started treading that path and had gone rather far in recent days.

His Flame Element had already reached the Extreme stage, meaning his comprehension of the Flame Law had already reached the Extreme stage, something most Gods don’t ever dream of reaching, since attaining the Perfect Harmony stage qualifies one to become a Supreme.

However, once one steps onto the path of Supremehood, they are required to comprehend the Dao. The Supremes mostly handle the first step in every Dao comprehension.

The first step in comprehending the Dao is understanding and awakening, or getting recognized by it.

One can possess the Flame Dao, like Rhazor, Klaus’s incarnation. However, they would still lack true comprehension of the Dao because, to comprehend it, one must first understand what it truly is.

The Dao is the same, but everyone comprehends it differently.

Once one comprehends their Dao, they can begin improving their understanding of it, using it to shape their Laws and many other things.

This continues throughout the Supreme stage and into the Celestial stage. However, once one reaches the Celestial stage, the path closes before them. There are many Celestials out there with only a Perfect Understanding of the Heavenly Dao.

Those who manage to rise to the Transcendent stage become Pseudo-Primordials. Some even make it to the Harmony stage, with the likes of the Burning Angel reaching the Perfect Harmony stage.

However, from his conversation with his Uncle Monk, he discovered that once one reached the Absolute stage of Dao comprehension, they would begin to perceive the Origin Dao.

That is the stage where one can finally glimpse the next realm, the Primordial Realm. It is difficult to reach that stage, so Klaus didn’t even bother to ask any more questions.

He knew he still had a long way to go. So for now, he decided to enjoy the time they had because his life would only take a chaotic turn from then on.

After four hours, Princess Threnody and Grand Elder Xylarae returned, now free of the Heavenly Dao Curse. Klaus congratulated them, and three hours later, Empress Korvaxa summoned Klaus to her palace.

Princess Threnody and Grand Elder Xylarae escorted him there while Uncle Monk remained behind.

Soon, they arrived at the palace, where Empress Korvaxa was seated upon her throne while the ten Elven Elders occupied their respective seats.

Klaus was given a chair, and he settled down.

"Once again, thank you for saving my people. We were all caught off guard by the domain the demons deployed. Had it not been for you, who knows what those vile demons would have done?" Empress Korvaxa said, and Klaus nodded.

"We know you have a tight schedule, so we wouldn’t like to take up more of your time," she said, gesturing to the side. An elven lady walked forward, carrying a space ring and an orange-sized fruit with blue and red stripes on a tray.

"The fruit is called Ka’rresh. It is a blood-type fruit, perfect for someone like you, whose affinity for blood is very high. Contained within the space ring are a few million Spirit Crystals. You can use them to raise your cultivation base by a few levels."

Klaus accepted the gifts with a smile.

The moment the fruit was brought forward, Bloodwork had already become excited. Had it not been for Klaus stopping him, he would have already jumped out and snatched it.

From how excited he sounded, Klaus knew that breaking the third seal on his true power had just been handed to them.

"Thanks for your generosity, Empress Korvaxa. However, I would like to ask if I could stay for one more day. I am already at the peak of the True Immortal stage, so I intend to break through to the Immortal King stage before leaving."

"You can stay for as long as you want. Princess Threnody will take you somewhere safe where you can cultivate in peace."

Soon, Klaus was led away.

The moment he was gone, Empress Korvaxa became serious.

"The Renegade Hunter saved us this time around. However, what if next time he isn’t here? What if next time, even he isn’t enough?" she sighed before adding, "We have to be ready for everything, at any time."

The ten elders nodded.

"What do you suggest we do, My Empress? We have already made provisions with the Dwarves to strengthen the defenses around the Sylvaris Planetary System. What else can be done?"

Empress Korvaxa remained quiet for a few minutes before speaking again.

"We have to make sure we don’t just rely on external weapons. We need to train capable warriors to fight when the machines fail.

This time, we were lucky that the shields held. However, our people suffered as a result. We protected the other planets but failed to protect our own people. So we need capable warriors, and I am not talking about our nine legions.

We need a legion specifically for the protection of the Sylvaris Planetary System and other mining colonies out there."

The elders had no problem with that. In fact, they even seemed to have come to the same conclusion as Empress Korvaxa. So, hearing her say it, they nodded rapidly.

The lives of their people came first, so they wouldn’t waste time putting measures in place to ensure that what happened to the Sylvaris Planetary System would never be repeated.

Meanwhile, after he was led out of the palace, Klaus was brought to a barren forest somewhere far from the palace. It was isolated, making it the perfect place for him to undergo his tribulation and become an Immortal King.

Of course, he was immune to tribulations, but Klaus planned to use the Lightning Source Diagram to simulate a fake tribulation.

While Princess Threnody and Grand Elder Xylarae wouldn’t be surprised if he broke through without a tribulation, the same couldn’t be said for Empress Korvaxa and the rest of the elders, who knew he planned on breaking through to the Immortal King stage.

So by the time they reached the location, Klaus had already released the Lightning Source Diagram into the clouds.

He hadn’t yet found a weapon spirit for it, but since he had many incarnations, one of them would handle its control while he focused purely on passing the fake tribulation.

"You ladies should hang back here. I won’t be gone for more than ten hours," Klaus said to Princess Threnody and Grand Elder Xylarae, who nodded.

"Good luck," they said, and Klaus moved away, stopping six kilometers away from them.

Immediately, he sat in a lotus position and started to examine the changes that had already taken place and what he intended to do after the tribulation.

Already inside his Soul Sea, his four Primordial Flame Spirits were close to finishing the new form of the Primordial Lotus of Destruction.

After two hours, Klaus took a deep breath, and he gestured for the tribulation to descend. The faster he gets this done, the quicker he can make it to the Celestial Supreme’s summon.

Up in the air, the clouds started to turn dark, signaling the imminent arrival of the Heavenly Tribulation. Klaus took a deep breath, and then he was ready to handle the fake tribulation.

Meanwhile, back on Planet Caelmir, Asmodeus’s cocoon cracked, releasing an incredibly potent wave of Necrotic Qi...
