[Demon Universe - Planet GrayIce - Lord Mordrika’s POV]
BANG!
Lord Mordrika slammed his fist onto his precious table, shattering it completely.
"That brat... he dares threaten me!"
His voice spread across the entire planet, causing his men to tremble.
Planet GrayIce was his military base, so every last demon stationed there was a warrior with formidable combat power. But even with their strength, his sudden outburst caused most of them to pale.
They had just witnessed what had transpired between their leader and the Renegade Hunter, so they knew the reason behind his anger.
"Somebody!" Lord Mordrika shouted.
Two demons appeared before him instantly and knelt.
"Issue an order. I want the entire planet placed on high alert. Ready all weapons and ensure every contingency is in place. I want to see who dares come here looking to kill me."
"As you command, Lord Mordrika."
The two demons bowed before vanishing from the room. Soon, the entire planet entered a state of emergency as everyone prepared for the day the Paragon came knocking.
Meanwhile, Lord Mordrika tapped on his communicator again, accepting a call from the Ice Demon King. On the projection, another pale-looking demon, about 45 years of age, based on his appearance, but with only two eyes and two black horns, appeared.
Lord Mordrika immediately bowed.
"My King, you called."
The man on the screen was the Ice Demon King, the one whose banner Lord Mordrika served under.
"You caused quite a blunder, Mordrika," the Ice Demon King said, calmly looking at Lord Mordrika.
"I know, My King. I thought the Ebon Sovereign would have handled the task, considering his domain was perfect for the mission. But clearly, I underestimated the elves and that human brat," Lord Mordrika said through gritted teeth.
"Indeed. However, your failure to select the right person for the job has landed you in this mess. For now, sit tight and do not set foot outside your planet. I have already sent some of my men to aid you.
I am sure the Paragon wouldn’t dare attack you on your own planet unless they have a death wish."
"I will heed your words, My King, and do as you command," Lord Mordrika said with a bow.
"Good. I will also work things out on my end and see if there is a way out of this. For now, don’t do anything else; you will probably regret it later."
The call ended, and Lord Mordrika clenched his fist.
"Renegade Hunter, as long as I live and breathe, I will never let you humiliate me ever again."
He wasn’t worried about his failure. His concern was focused more on the fact that he had become a laughingstock among the 42 Demon Lords throughout the Demon Universe.
Klaus had caused it, and until the day he personally killed him, he would never be satisfied.

[Planet Blood Star – Vacation Home]
Hunter flew over a vast blood-red river, standing atop one of his swords. A few minutes later, he arrived before a mansion built like a grand castle.
Standing in front of the mansion were two people—King Alastor and Queen Ophelia, his parents.
Klaus had already helped King Alastor become a Celestial, and he had even become the first Asura Demon. This made him the first being ever to awaken that bloodline, earning him the title of Progenitor, something Klaus had always wanted for him.
His wife, Queen Ophelia, had also received the same title, albeit in a toned-down form. As a Progenitor, King Alastor had gained the power to evolve the bloodlines of his people. He had also gained the ability to know everything happening on his planet and to those who belonged to his lineage.
So, the moment Hunter arrived on Planet Blood Star, they sensed him. When he started heading toward their vacation home, they saw that as well, prompting them to teleport there to welcome him.
"Welcome home, Hunter," Queen Ophelia said, opening her arms.
The big brat didn’t hesitate. He walked straight into the hug, even resting his chin on his mother’s shoulder before smirking at his old man.
"It is good to be back, Mother."
King Alastor smirked but said nothing. Inwardly, he was also pleased that Hunter had returned, even if only temporarily.
"So, you’re the one my grandson chose to kill that Ice Demon," King Alastor asked.
After breaking away from the hug, Hunter answered.
"Yes. I’ll get it done quickly and be on my way." Hunter smiled. "I have more pressing matters than wasting my time on him."
"Oh, you appear confident, Hunter. Does that mean you think killing a Celestial would be that easy?" King Alastor sneered at his son’s obvious arrogance.
Now that he was a Celestial himself, he knew just how much control and power a Celestial possessed. Naturally, he believed a True Supreme like Hunter wasn’t qualified to kill someone of that level. So hearing Hunter’s words made him want to smack the brat silly.
"My dear, it seems you’re comparing yourself to that Ice Demon. In case you aren’t aware, you’re an Asura Demon now. But even long before you became a Celestial, you could have killed him."
Queen Ophelia stated calmly, and King Alastor suddenly realized she was right.
He had been using his own strength to gauge that of the Ice Demon.
"Still, the weapons he possesses are powerful enough to threaten most Celestials. It would not be easy."
Hunter laughed and nodded.
"That’s true, old man. However, that would have been the case if I had come alone."
The moment he finished speaking, the gate to his Puppet Workshop Domain opened, and five demons stepped out, each radiating the aura of a True Supreme.
Klaus’s five uncles—Xian, Ziggy, Jojo, Mark, and James—walked out.
"Greetings, King Alastor and Queen Ophelia," they said, bowing to the two Celestials, who smiled and gestured for them to stand.
Queen Ophelia walked over to them and embraced them warmly.
"Thank you for keeping my son safe and bringing him home."
The five uncles nodded with smiles.
"Why don’t we go inside first?" King Alastor suggested.
Everyone nodded before entering the mansion together.

Klaus took a deep breath before looking at the carnage he had caused. All the demons were dead, and so the battle had come to an end.
With a gentle wave of his hand, dark-gold-colored ice swept across the battlefield, devouring the bodies along with the blood.
Since Klaus intended to personally raise the power level of his seven Forbidden Ice Elements, he began by using the Devouring Forbidden Ice to consume everything.
He then distributed the essence gathered equally among all seven elements. It wasn’t enough to make them absolute, but he was counting on his meeting with the Celestial Supreme ending the way he wanted it to.
A few minutes later, the void cracked open, and Empress Korvaxa walked out, followed by several warriors and elders.
Klaus only took a single glance at Empress Korvaxa to know she was dangerous. Her aura told him she had fought her fair share of battles and had come close to death many times.
But instead of panicking, he flashed a smile and joked, "Ah, nothing is better than finishing a battle and being congratulated by a fairy as beautiful and radiant as yourself, Empress Korvaxa."
The warriors drew their weapons and pointed them at Klaus. The way he had addressed their empress’s arrival made them furious.
"Stand down, everyone," Empress Korvaxa said, and everyone obeyed.
To the side, a monk shook his bald head with a smile. Not far from him, two beauties holding each other’s hands also smiled.
