Supreme Warrior Sayuri attempted to recruit Klaus for the Warrior College, impressed by his strength but also offended by his gaze. Klaus, however, remained firm in his decision to join the Engineering College. Sayuri grew angry, questioning his arrogance and the extent of his accomplishments, but Klaus remained unfazed. He declared he was better than everyone until someone with five law affinities could wield any weapon, and then departed for the Engineering College.

Supreme Warrior Sayuri swiftly returned to her isolated island residence. As the esteemed headmistress of the warrior college, she possessed the unique privilege of inhabiting an island imbued with a significantly denser concentration of laws.

For a deity residing in such a location, the process of deepening their comprehension of the laws would become three times more facile.

On occasion, her most accomplished students, aspiring to attain godhood, were granted permission to spend a few decades on the island, dedicated to the intricate task of comprehending these laws.

Today, however, Sayuri was the sole occupant.

Upon her arrival at the island, she immediately activated a powerful formation designed to shield her from all forms of surveillance. Any clandestine observers would find their attempts thwarted by this protective array.

As if this measure were insufficient, she then produced an SSS-Class artifact and activated it, causing the entire island to submerge beneath the waves. Swiftly, the island vanished from sight, enveloped by the encompassing water.

Still standing on the now-submerged land, Sayuri gazed upwards to witness the emergence of a protective dome that had enveloped the island.

It was at this moment that she finally exhaled a deep breath.

Subsequently, a maelstrom of emotions – shock, guilt, elation, and a myriad of others – swept across her features. She raised a hand to conceal her face as tears streamed uncontrollably down her cheeks.

She subsequently sank to her knees, and mere moments later, the sounds of her profound sobbing echoed through the air.

While she wept, poignant memories of her past life continued to surge through her consciousness, amplifying her sorrow.

Eventually, the influx of memories subsided, leaving a single, intensely vivid recollection to occupy her mind. It was the memory of the very day she had met her demise...

[The Era of the Paragon of Death - The Day the Paragon Died]

A diminutive figure, clad in a simple tank top and form-fitting leather jeans, stood resolutely atop a formidable wall, her fists clenched with determination. Accompanying her were two other women: one adorned in green cloak armor, the other in striking red, skin-tight leather armor.

"Kitty, are you absolutely certain about this?" the lady in red leather inquired. "Based on what you’ve shared, your brother was apprehended by the Heavens Court thirty millennia ago. How confident are you that he still draws breath?"

The petite lady, identified by the moniker Kitty, turned her gaze towards Makani, the woman clad in red leather armor.

"He sent his signal, elder sister. He and I share a unique signal, thus I am certain it was him. Eldest Brother is indeed still alive."

"Yet, even if he endures, how can we be assured he remains the person he once was? For all we know, he could be a victim of mind control, utilized as bait to draw us into a trap, and Lord Paragon..." Seiki, the lady in the green cloak armor, voiced her concerns with an unsettling lack of emotion.

Kitty shot her a sharp glare but refrained from the explosive outburst one might expect, given her spirited temperament.

"Even if he were under duress, I would endeavor to rescue and heal him. He is my brother. After our parents perished, he shielded me and ensured my peaceful upbringing. I refuse to abandon him, especially now, when he requires my aid."

"Ah, this predicament is quite vexing. Lord Paragon explicitly instructed us to refrain from seeking conflict until his return. Yet, here we stand, poised to invite trouble, fully aware that this entire scenario is likely a carefully laid trap," Seiki, recognized as one of the universe's most formidable archers, straightened her posture and addressed Makani.

"So, tell me, when do we depart?"

Makani offered a wry smirk and responded, "Given that our prospects likely lead to a grim fate, why don't we indulge in Uncle Bob's delectable cupcakes one final time? I have a premonition that my head may be severed by the dawn of tomorrow."

"Death flags, Makani. Lord Paragon cautioned you against carelessly uttering such foreboding statements," another chided.

Makani chuckled, gently cupping Kitty’s cheek. "We possess but a single opportunity to rescue your eldest brother, so ensure your blade is as keen as your wit. Should you fall before I do, I might very well lose my composure and unleash devastation upon all."

Kitty nodded, a faint smile gracing her lips.

---

The scene shifted dramatically, revealing Kitty kneeling, her sword providing meager support to her trembling form. To her left lay Seiki, deceased, a spear piercing her chest.

To her right, Makani's headless corpse rested upon the ground, her entire being marred by an array of horrific wounds.

Gazing forward, Kitty beheld a man with dark hair, wielding a spear as he engaged an overwhelming host of tens of thousands of gods, thousands of supremes, and over a hundred celestials.

In the wake of his onslaught, countless gods and supremes lay lifeless, while a mere handful of celestials clung precariously to their existence.

Most astonishingly, this dark-haired combatant was merely a demigod, yet to achieve the [God Ascension] realm.

Nevertheless, such an individual had already vanquished thousands of gods and supremes. Undeniably, this was the Paragon of Death, an incarnation of unparalleled danger, perhaps the most formidable the universe had witnessed since the demise of the Asura God.

Kitty's hand clenched into a tight fist, tears coursing anew down her face.

This tragedy was entirely her doing. Had she not been so insistent on rescuing her brother, who coincidentally spearheaded the assault against Orion, the very Paragon of Death, none of this devastation would have transpired.

"I-I am sorry, Big Sister Seiki... Big Sister Makani... I am truly sorry..." Tears streamed down her face without restraint.

Looking up, she witnessed an arrow pierce Orion's chest, sending him plummeting. But just as a Celestial believed they had Orion trapped, a sly smirk graced the demigod's lips as he extended the index finger of his right hand.

"Underworld Death Finger."

A dark beam erupted from his digit, marking the demise of the first Celestial. The remaining combatants halted their assault, some retreating several paces.

At that moment, Orion turned his gaze towards Kitty.

"I will see you in the next life, Kitty. Until then, witness my spectacular departure."

As he uttered these words, he let go of his spear and executed a rapid sequence of hand seals.

"RUNNNNNN-"

The Celestial, Kitty's older brother, who was at the forefront of the charge, shrieked, his voice echoing far and wide. Thousands dissolved into the void, others launched themselves off the planet, while some found themselves petrified.

"This concludes the Chapter of the Paragon of Death." Orion's smile widened as he raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.

"Doomsday Art: Eternal Damnation."

Kitty, having already passed through the gates of demise, observed a profound darkness surge from Orion's finger, engulfing the entire world. Though no sound was audible, she knew countless individuals screamed, and perhaps some cursed.

Yet, in the end, none of it altered their ultimate destiny...

The Great Annihilation, one of the myriad calamitous occurrences that had shaken the Heavenly Court, originated then, signifying the close of an epoch, an era during which the universe beheld a Paragon who simply refused to perish, regardless of how many times he met his end.

Supreme Warrior Sayuri remained kneeling for a full ten minutes before rising. Her eyes still glistening with tears, she entered and immediately connected to the Dark Space.

She materialized onto a bustling thoroughfare where throngs of people, engrossed in their daily pursuits, moved to and fro.

Supreme Warrior Sayuri swiftly located her intended destination and proceeded onward. After a few moments, she stood before a coffee establishment bearing a sign that proclaimed, 'Elites Coffee Shop.'

She let out a sigh and pushed the door open.

The instant she stepped inside, her eyes met those of the Barista, who offered a smile while wiping her hands.

"Well, well, well... look what the wind blew in."
