God Beast Beyhos recounts her past encounters with the Star Monarch and questions the identity of the man before her. Klaus claims to be the Star Monarch and offers to prove it, sharing memories that reveal his true nature and his complex relationships with beasts. Beyhos, realizing she was deceived by false narratives, is left wondering if she can trust him.

A smile touched Klaus's lips.

While Earth's Calamity Beasts were largely a mystery to him, his recovered memories as the Star Monarch provided extensive knowledge. After all, he had tamed the Three True Calamities during his reign.

"When I was the Star Monarch, I encountered all three True Calamities. Initially, I presumed I would easily subdue them and bring them under my command. However, the reality was quite different; I was the one subdued. They were, indeed, calamities. Yet, through our interactions, I eventually persuaded them to join my cause. These beings were fated by the Heavens to herald the end of eras, to sow chaos. Afterward, the Heavens would intervene, eliminate them, and restore universal order. This cycle had repeated numerous times, but I disrupted it during the Star Monarch Era. It was then I uncovered a chilling truth."

Klaus let out a sigh, his thoughts drifting back to the day he learned from Nari's past self the reason behind the Heavens' animosity and the curse placed upon them.

"You see, the Calamity Beast race exists on the precipice of fate. From birth, fate struggles to maintain its grip. But as they ascend to godhood, this hold weakens significantly, until they eventually become fate-less. This is what the Heavens feared, compelling them to ensure all Calamity Beasts remain perpetually at the pinnacle of the True God stage. They dread the prospect of your existence being beyond their control. It was why they harbored such hatred for the True Calamities. I discovered that over the years, the True Calamities had been utilizing their blood to aid numerous Calamity Beasts in achieving a fate-less existence, seeking to liberate their kin. For this, they were cursed. My blood broke that curse, but it also invoked the wrath of the Heavens, leading to the demise of billions."

Klaus sighed once more, a surge of intense loathing for the Heavens washing over him for their actions against his people.

Countless innocent lives in their tranquil world were extinguished due to the Heavens' hatred for him, leaving no mercy for anyone, not even children or pregnant women.

They exhibited no compassion whatsoever.

"Here is my proposal: I will grant you fate-lessness, and in return, you shall fight by my side. Should we manage to survive this ordeal, I will guide you to one of the True Calamities, who will then bestow upon you the authentic inheritance of the Calamity Beast lineage."

Lady Beyhos's body trembled, her eyes reflecting sheer astonishment.

"Are you claiming the True Calamities are still alive? I believed them to be deceased."

Klaus chuckled. "Oh, please, do you imagine I play games without a foolproof strategy? I always keep trump cards hidden. Rest assured, they are alive. While the Black Flame Calamity Phoenix has departed, the Red Horn Qilin and the Demon Eye Dragon remain in existence."

"Ah, but the Black Flame Calamity Phoenix has already risen from the ashes, embodying her very nature."

Klaus considered summoning Nari but decided against it. He was unwilling to place her in jeopardy before his blood had been integrated into Lady Beyhos's system.

His lack of complete trust prevented such a bold maneuver.

"So, what is your decision, Lady Beyhos? Will you accept my offer to become a member of the Star Monarch lineage, or will you betray me to the Heavens Court, hoping for a more esteemed position in their web of deception?"

The revelation of her prolonged deception had clearly incensed her.

However, pledging allegiance to someone new so swiftly felt like a precipitous move.

"You mentioned we must fight together, or we will all perish. What precisely did you mean by that?"

"Your survival hinges on preventing the humans who will enter this domain from confronting the warriors pursuing the Jade Ant Queen."

"WHAT?" Her eyes widened in disbelief.

"The Jade Ant Queen is deceased; why would they pursue her?"

"This is because she is scheduled for rebirth within the coming weeks, and your employers intend to capture her. Naturally, once they achieve their goal, you will become expendable. To silence any potential whistleblowers, they will eliminate you all. I intend to thwart their plan, but I require your assistance if we are to have any chance of preserving our lives."

"I understand. I desire to live, as do the thousands of Calamity Beasts elsewhere. However, even with my subordinates and myself aligned with you, a multitude will remain a potential threat. How do you propose to resolve this issue?"

Klaus offered a smile and a gesture, producing four drops of his own blood. "This is the very key to liberating you from the Heavens' control. You may take one now, and once you witness its potency, I am confident you will readily share the remaining three with the other gods.

Crux has already informed me of your supreme strength, so I have no doubt you will overcome any obstacles, especially after you receive the benefit of my blood."

The alluring aroma emanating from his blood caused Lady Beyhos to unconsciously moisten her lips. Observing this, Klaus grinned and rose to his feet.

He then encased three of the blood samples in a block of ice. With a flick of his wrist, they floated towards her, accompanied by the unfrozen drop.

"I will be departing with Crux. Her extraordinary speed is essential for me to reach a critical destination. Upon my return, we shall convene to strategize the most effective approach for the impending conflict."

Her gaze was so fixated on the shimmering golden blood that she simply nodded, oblivious to Klaus's departure from the trunk house.

Klaus harbored no apprehension that within a few days, four divine beings would align with him. In the past, a single one of his lieutenants could enlist hundreds of followers merely by bestowing drops of his blood, to be offered to those deemed worthy of joining their cause.

He was certain that this time, Lady Beyhos would also pledge her allegiance. After all, merely three steps from the house, he detected that she had already imbibed his blood.

A smile touched his lips as he turned to his left, his gaze meeting that of Reed, the insectoid beast that had attempted to subdue him upon his arrival with Crux.

Witnessing Klaus emerge from the trunk house, unharmed and in perfect condition, left him utterly astonished.

Crux alighted beside Klaus. "How did everything proceed?"

"I am still alive, so I presume it went rather well."

She acknowledged this with a nod before turning her attention to Reed and Lizzy. After a fleeting, confident smirk, she ascended into the air, with Klaus following close behind. Their plans had already been discussed, so she was well aware of their next destination.
