The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1448: The Solution

Ultimately, Klaus needed a full two hours to get his emotions under control.
Once finished, he jumped straight into the main issue. His grandmother's illness lingered, so the single plan he'd devised demanded immediate discussion.
"I've devised two options. The first involves reducing your cultivation down to the Immortal Lord stage. That way, you could live free of the sickness until we retrieve your god core.
After retrieving it, you could absorb the core and ascend back to the god stage. Yet, this process would lower your bloodline potential. Currently, you possess a Supreme-grade bloodline; but afterward, it would drop to god-grade.
Moreover, once at that level, it can't improve further. Thus, your odds of reaching Supreme would plunge below 20%."
"That sounds bad," Goddess Nivara remarked, prompting Klaus to nod in agreement.
"It truly is unfavorable. Still, it's the sole method to retain your power and immortality."
She nodded before inquiring about the alternative. "And what's the second option?"
Klaus let out a sigh before explaining, "I'd need to consume your blood essence, dropping your cultivation to the Awakened stage. From there, you'd rebuild step by step, forming a new core upon reaching the Law Formation stage."
Klaus braced for his grandmother's disapproval, but she grinned and fired off a question.
"Does restarting from scratch offer me any advantages? And crucially, how does consuming my blood essence benefit you?"
"Beyond regaining mortality, you'd gain the opportunity to reshape your blood essence. I possess a technique to make that possible.
Naturally, during the reshaping, nothing prevents you from forging a Celestial-grade bloodline this time.
Beyond that, you could fix past errors in your cultivation. With my guidance, you'd access Celestial-grade techniques from the start. So, armed with your prior experience and our collective support, you'd surpass your former self by leaps and bounds.
I'll also hunt for materials to incorporate body tempering into your path. That would bolster your physique even more.
In essence, apart from the cultivation time required, you'd wield total command over your future trajectory this round."
Goddess Nivara nodded, pleased by the prospects ahead.
"Regarding my gains, devouring your blood essence might propel my cultivation up multiple levels. But for success, I require two specific items first."
"Which items?" Queen Leah promptly interjected. Her moment had arrived, and she seized it eagerly.
"Heart of Tempest Vine and Heaven Forging Liquid."
"What quality levels?" she pressed, a promising indicator that she held them in stock.
Klaus grinned. "Immortal grade or higher."
She nodded. "I'll return shortly," then blinked out of sight, reappearing kilometers distant.
Klaus grinned once more, inwardly grateful for securing the materials to advance the second phase of his Heaven Defying Body refinement.
Even better, after activating the Absolute Law, the heavens' grip on him had shattered temporarily. Thus, advancing to the Real Immortal stage would dodge any tribulation.
The sole remaining barrier was his heaven-defying body. He could reach Real Immortal easily, but climbing to True Immortal would prove troublesome.
Fortunately, Queen Leah supplied the necessary items for body refinement. Once completed, he and his other two bodies could assimilate the Supreme-grade blood essence.
With just three bodies currently, the likelihood of one attaining True Immortal soared high.
Though the blood essence's karma would transfer to him, the rewards far outweighed it. He'd surge in power, unlocking realms he never dreamed possible.
"Klaus, will you truly be alright?" his grandmother inquired, yet Klaus merely smiled and gave her arm a soft pat.
"I'll manage fine, Grandma. My only concern is how rapidly I'll advance. The universe views me as an early-stage Immortal now, so leaping to True Immortal would spark chaos."
"Let it spark chaos then. It'll just prove how extraordinary you are."
Klaus smiled and nodded.
Deep down, he realized his limit lay at True Immortal peak for the moment. The Mission Hall's task demanded staying below Immortal King to infiltrate the planetary system unnoticed.
Thus, exceeding that stage wasn't feasible. Luckily, his two extra bodies could distribute the essence.
'Actually, with my 8th bloodline awakened, Icon, why not generate the 3rd and 4th personas?'
[Okay, Master.]
Having activated Paragon and Criminal personas already, he needed one for Earth training and another for the void world his wives had found earlier.
So far, Star Monarch bloodline, Unknown bloodline, and Primordial Vampire Monarch had awakened.
Now, the Supreme Elemental Bloodline from Kaden (8th incarnation) had stirred too.
He'd formed Criminal from Vampire Monarch bloodline and Paragon from Unknown bloodline.
This left two bloodlines for additional personas. With incoming blood essence, rapid progress awaited.
'Step by step, I'm reclaiming the heights from millions of years past,' a warm smile lit his face.
Moments later, Queen Leah returned bearing the requested items.
"I possess only god-grade variants."
"That suffices perfectly, Queen Leah. My thanks."
She smiled, passing the two items over. Klaus accepted them, stowing them in his space ring. Then, he requested another favor from Queen Leah.
"I require a private location."
"I can arrange that." As Queen Leah began responding, King Alric materialized. "A remote site exists far off, isolated and beyond heavenly surveillance."
"Perfect."
King Alric nodded and snapped his fingers, summoning a portal. Klaus rose, grasping his grandmother's arm.
His wives stood as well, unwilling to miss the event. Klaus welcomed their presence freely.
Queen Leah wavered briefly, but Anna tugged her along, and they stepped through the portal. King Alric followed, sealing it shut behind him.
