Klaus playfully refused Rania's offer to drink her blood, explaining her royal status required permission, her weakness risked being drained, and he only partook from his wives. Undeterred, Rania rushed to her mother Queen Leah and grandmother Lady Narcisa, negotiating a signed scroll granting approval in exchange for revealing her closeness to Klaus and the pleasurable, strengthening effects his wives described from his bites. Intrigued by her suggestion, the two ladies widened their eyes at the idea of offering their own powerful blood to him.

Though the two women yearned to act innocent and claim they had no clue about Rania's hint, they fully grasped it, leaving them utterly shocked.

Even pondering her recent words, Rania's audacious proposal for them to offer their blood to Klaus struck them as utterly absurd. Yet, as they mulled over her suggestion, the underlying logic began to sink in.

Her idea might seem utterly shameless, urging a God and a Supreme to provide their blood to Klaus. Still, no matter how bold her statement, sharing their blood with him would greatly benefit the Paragon.

This would accelerate his path to greater strength.

Rania giggled. "Don’t tell me you haven’t considered this. I know how you two are, and every last one of my aunties and grandmothers likes to talk about him.

One of the reasons I was eager to take up your offer and go to Earth a few years back was how you would never stop talking about him. I honestly doubted he was that awesome until I met him.

He is indeed awesome, and learning more about him isn’t something I’d turn down. Also, as people who had lived their entire lives walking a predetermined path of protecting the world of a Paragon, you deserve some fun time."

It's extremely uncommon for a Supreme and a God to notice a mere immortal who's existed for under a thousand years.

Such a thing is simply unprecedented.

Rania's success in silencing both her mother and grandmother, holding their full attention, revealed everything she needed to see.

Her arguments were clearly impacting them—especially Queen Leah, the reigning queen during the Paragon's return.

"Another question: how did you manage to get close to him? He is the Paragon, someone who stands above the heavens. While I may be a Supreme, I pale in comparison to him. His standing in this universe is not something meagre people like us can compare to.

So how did you manage to break past that barrier and get close to him?"

Rania burst into laughter, surprised that her grandmother viewed herself so modestly. To her, the queen dwarfed Klaus in stature and power many times over.

"Grandma, you are overthinking everything. Klaus is a very simple person. He values honesty, and well, he is very intelligent—so intelligent that I am confident none of you can compare. But aside from that, you are several times better.

However, being the elegant supreme you are won’t get you anywhere. So instead of approaching him half-heartedly, go to him with your real self.

Do not make it seem like you are trying to get close to him without actually believing in him. If you want to know him, just go talk to him like a normal person.

Back on Earth, his life was so simple. He had normal friends, and he played with children as if he were one of them. I even learned he used to have a pet snake that he bathed, slept with, and played with.

So, such a person, while he may be mentally millions of years old, compared to the current him, he is but a few years old. Be normal like him, and trust me, becoming friends with him would be very simple."

"Also, don’t call him Lord Paragon. He prefers Klaus, or if you will, Magnus."

To their surprise, the two women agreed with Rania's advice. They posed a few more questions, occupying hours of her time.

While she endured this intense questioning, Klaus grew restless in the pool and decided to leave, beginning to roam around.

Certain spots he longed to revisit existed, but time had transformed most beyond recognition. Thus, he drifted from one location to another, searching for echoes of the past.

Regrettably, though some remnants endured, not all fared so well. Since the present royal family played no role in his Magnus days, they were unaware of his cherished humble haunts, allowing countless renovations to erase them.

Yet one spot from his former life remained famous among those who knew him well.

Back then, he adored a particular mountain just a few kilometers from home. Confident it had survived, he headed there with hope, praying it endured.

Fortune smiled upon him: upon arrival, the mountain stood tall, even more stunning than memory served. It had received meticulous preservation over the years, shining brighter than ever.

But he wasn't alone there. He had come to encounter someone specific.

"Fancy seeing you here, Lista."

Queen Leah’s eldest daughter, Lista, had been meditating at the site when Klaus appeared. This serene peak was her beloved retreat, ideal for solitude since few dared approach casually, perfect for true relaxation.

Alas, Klaus's sudden presence shattered her tranquility.

"L-Lord Paragon," she stammered, caught off guard by his arrival.

"You can just call me Klaus."

She nodded, eyes wide with lingering astonishment. Social interactions weren't her forte, making this disruption uneasy. Yet the intruder was Klaus, the very figure of her dreams.

"You know, back in the day, I used to frequent this place." Klaus strolled to the mountain's edge, gazing over the sprawling city. This vista had enchanted Magnus, a beauty undimmed even amid the world's disdain, night after night.

"There is just something about this place that makes me feel at peace," Klaus added, and Lista, a long-time visitor for millennia, agreed silently.

Klaus let out a sigh and faced her. Sensing his look, she quickly glanced away.

Her reaction drew a grin from him. "You are a shy one, huh?"

Pointing out someone's shyness aloud was downright bold. Amplifying a timid soul's discomfort required real nerve.

Klaus possessed such brazen confidence, so he relished prolonging her awkwardness.

"Don’t mind me. Being shy is magic."

Klaus approached and settled down next to her. He then grabbed a book nearby, titled "The Psychology of Attaining Infinite Mind," penned by an anonymous writer.

"Tsk, what kind of psycho will write a book with such an exaggerated title?"

Lista glanced over, eyebrow arched. "It was written by the 8th Paragon."

Klaus met her gaze for moments before grinning. "Now that you mentioned it, I am sure the author was brilliant beyond measure."

Despite her shyness, Lista smiled at Klaus’s cheeky flip. An avid reader from a Paragon-obsessed lineage, much of her collection revolved around him indirectly.

The 8th Paragon, Kaden, doubled as an author. Beyond battling the Heavens Court and plundering their secrets, he passionately demystified the enigmatic.

Numerous works bore his name. However, Klaus’s recollections from that era hinged on Pickle Berry’s growth speed, so that chapter of his history remained locked away...

"Tell me more about this book," Klaus requested, sending Lista into a panic.
